Hi Guys,
i'll go back to XJ's MIUI XPART Rom but i dont know what i must do. My last Miui was 1.7 or so
Is the New 2.3.30 Rom Stable and Battery friendly?
Same Scripts or modifications ?
a simple Step by Step Guide will be Nice.
My Desire is already S-OFF / Rooted.

~~ Sry for my BAAAAAAD English
I used the latest miui for a couple of weeks and had no problem what so ever.....the Xpart version worked great for me
sent from the Netherlands....
what have u..
- HBoot
- SD Card Settings
- Kernel
- Scripts (Supercharger or what ever)
?
That doesn't apply anymore as I am now running runny rom. I had the xpart on cm7r2 hboot with all the standard settings, sd card was setup with a ext4 partition 1024 MB. only changed the kernel to kitty kernel

Hi, can anyone tell me how to adapt ownhere's newest data2ext script (8.8) to leedroid ROM? Or to any other ROM in general? I mean the script where you need 2 ext partitions and a 100mb swap one. I would really like that on leedroid, but no idea how to port the script
Anyone?
i'm looking for a rom that can be found in x-part or d2w version, has customable power widget and is an 2.3 version
i'm looking for that kind of rom for a vile now, but can't find it.
any suggestions?
The only 2.3.3 roms are aosp. Get CM7 and install the s2e app. Done done and done.
Sent from CM7
I'm using MIUI 1.4.8. It's 2.3.3 but it's experimental with some bugs.
There are A2SD, D2W and a X-Part version.
I think you will not need a power widget because there is one in the notification bar. Here's the link: [ROM][MIUI] 1.4.8 GB 2.3 [EN and MULTI LANG] XJ: D2EXT X-PART, A2SD/+, D2W
Hey is there a way to install this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1113070 ROM with data2ext option
As long as the dev does not program the rom for it, I would say the answer is no.
seems like the only data2ext rom is this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1200517
by the way is data2ext and data2sd the same feature or...
No, that's not true:

ICS is the complete opposite of "stable". If you want a stable rom, flash a GB one.

If everything works fine, then you did it right.

I use the supercharger on all the roms I flash, plus A2sd.

INT2SD and A2SD are scripts that make use of your sd-ext to store data on it.

CM7r2 hboot is a different partitioning of the system memory, with 145Mb system 5Mb cache and 287M
b data, unlike the stock hboot: 250Mb system, 40Mb cache 147Mb data.
Some roms only work on CM7r2 hboot, and if you want to flash them, you have to replace the stock hboot this way:

Hello,
I really like this ROM.
I have a question in relation to the new versions.
Should reinstall all applications after the flash or are there a possibilty to only update the new version.
Thank you for your answers.
Sorry for my English but I use google.
Just use Titanium Backup to backup your apps and restore them after you update.

Is there any cm7 miui rom with data2sd? hc miui 3.2 has no data2sd support
There are no CM7 MIUI ROMs for Wildfire S, only MIUI-like CM7 mods. If you want "original" MIUI ROM look for CM9 based ROMs.

Flash INT2EXT4+ after rom installation
I use MIUI v4 based on CM9 with CronMod INT2EXT4+ and it works great!
Just install any (non a2sd enabled) MIUI you like, make sure you format your sd-ext partition in ext4 and flash the INT2EXT4+ script in recovery right after you flash the rom (boot the rom up once right after you flash it, return to recovery and then flash the script if you encounter problems). Download the script from here, which is just the link copied out of the original INT2EXT thread.
BTW I use twrp recovery v. 2.2.2.0

:good: Confirmed on Wildfire S with CWM recovery. Did according to description, after 1st reboot found 0.89 Gb internal memory! Happy! Thanks!
I use the same MIUI as the one linked before with Data2SD, very stable and fast rom.
