is there anyway to get voodoo display experiment working with jelly bean. i have the most stability with the stock kernel but my colors are a little to warm. using the "cold" setting in ICS with that app made my colors perfect. i know all about francos kernel and the other kernels who have apps that let you adjust the color using multipliers and what not. but this app takes a different approach to color correction, and allows me to use the stock kernel.
app dl link is in first post.

I was wondering if there is the possibility to see on some kernel the beautiful voodoo color controls or something like that? The display of my unit is way too warm for my liking, and I'd rather change the color settings from the kernel, rather than using one of those apps on the market.
Now I just installed a custom ROM and I'm wondering, I've put my color settings to
Contrast 6
Red 290
Green 290
Blue 400
If I put them this high, is that gonna harm my screen in anyway?
Default android is 200 across the board, and most other custom ones barely cross 200
And does anyone how I can make my notification bar transparent black?

For the screen color question, I have it set to 400 straight across and haven't had any issues.
The the notification background, that is usually a feature included in ROMs.

Changing RGB won't have an adverse side effect on your screen. Contrast and gamma however can. Just make sure you don't go too extreme with either and you should be fine. The notification bar transparency is a mod. Depending on your ROM there might be a flashable zip if youre on AOSP without mods or most custom ROMs have either theme chooser or onthefly changing of that alpha variable.
hello friends.
I'm looking for the kernel.
You fancy kernel or kernel ak?
which is very low brightness settings of our device should I do?

Hmm. I use Fancy Kernel, and there you can set the color multipliers, so you can make it super bright, or super dark.
If you give a shot to Fancy Kernel, try using Trickster mod. It support the Kernel. You can over/down clock/volt mod, and set the brightness/colour intensity as you like.

ASKP kernel is the best I have used, ever. I run this on Liquid Smooth and I just recently managed 36 hour battery life with mild usage. the brightness settings are completely adjustable and user friendly. More so than any other ive used.
hello friends.
Which is the best kernel for stock rom?
slightly lower screen brightness of galaxy nexus.
kernel, and the color scheme, but how may I do this?
What settings should I use?
Which settings can I find the brightest and most beautiful color scheme?
Just pick some and start flashing.

do not understand what setting for the brightness of the screen?
Most kernels give you control of the screen color. Just use trickster mod in the play store to change it to whatever you want.
thanks jsgraphicart.

I tested three differents Kernels with different Frequencies. All of them have Color Settings.
If you dont wanna use an app like me, You can put the file extracted from the ziped file attached on /system/etc/init.d/
Anyone experiencing dull colors on custom ROMs just flash a custom kernel,I recommend Sandys kernel.
Then get the Kernel Aduitor app and under screen tab there will a saturation intensity setting, increase it according to your need.Colors would be normal again.
I recommend to keep it around 45-55.
