[Q] UK vs EU version of Galaxy Nexus - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hi there,
I'm looking to buy the phone from expansys.com, but have noticed there is a significant (>£100) price difference between the two, the UK one being more expensive.
Does anyone know what the differences are between the two, if any? Part numbers listed on expansys are:
EU: GT-I9250
UK: GT-I9250TSADBT
Thanks all

[Q] White Galaxy Nexus in Australia?

hi there,
i was wondering if any local store like dicksmith is selling the white version of the gnex? since i am travelling through the continent, buying the beauty online is not the best option.
i know that dicksmith and harvey norman have the silver edition, but could not find any store with the white..

I know a friend of mine has a white Galaxy Nexus but I'm pretty sure he did not buy it outright, he got it from a plan. I don't think any actual stores have the white edition for sale (outright that is). Well at least, I don't seem to see it.
too bad, thats what i thought. maybe i'll buy it online and have it sent to some hotel or so..

Is you GN 'Made in Korea'?

Just wondering if it is. I live in Korea and I bought a GN through Korea Telecom. My GN and even its batteries are labelled as 'Made in Korea'. Nowadays, everything is 'Made in China', yet my GN....
Is this only because I bought through Korea Telecom, or are your GN also 'Made in Korea'?
Mine is made in china
Not fair. My previous GN was made in China too.

My original Nexus (bought through WireFly) was made in China, and had a nice looking sticker behind the battery, I had to get it replaced through Verizon, and now I have a "Made in Korea" one with a cheap looking sticker, the phone works fine now, but it's weird how it changed.
I think what happened was the first couple hundred phones were made in Korea to make sure they get the manufacturing done correctly and check for faults. With that complete they would get the rest manufactured in china to save on costs.

Yup that is very likely. What about S3? Are all models of S3 made in Korea? If that is the case then it is obvious Samsung is giving piority for their own models over Nexus.

MADE IN KOREA.

Where to buy an Unlocked GNote 2 in USA?

I'm planning on buying the GNote 2 unlocked to use on Straight Talk / Prepaid and am wondering where I should purchase it. I know Amazon usually sells unlocked phones, but I'm not sure how early they offer them.
Does Amazon sell unlocked phones right when they come out?
I would prefer to purchase the phone from Amazon or some other reputable seller. I'd hate to lose $700+ to some no name company.
Where did you USA users purchase / Preorder your GNote 2 from?
This is the first time I'm purchasing an expensive phone online.
Does anyone have any words of wisdom?

Like I recommend to anybody else, hamdtec is hands down the best. I live in Maryland, they are based in the UK, I bought a Galaxy s3 from them and an HTC one x. They ship overnight ( even though its says 1-4 days shipping on their site) and you can chat with them anytime they are open, or reply by email and they will email you right back. I can't recommend them enough, seriously.

Is CM going to be made available?

Hey folks,
I am thinking about getting the G3. CM support is quite important for me though. So I am wondering if there will be support to the international version sold by retailers in Germany.
Is there any hint? Do you have any clue?
In case it wouldn't come, it perhaps choose its predecessor the g2.
Cheers!
