Evernote has just been updated to 4.1 which has brought specific updates to Tablets
Reviews on the play page and androidcentral tell of people having great success on the N7. But not me.

Anyone else had this. Is it because I'm rooted? (by m.sabra's Nexus 7 one click root tool)
Android ver 4.1.1
Build: JRO03D
Just downloaded from Google play and it works. My n7 is stock.
Works for me too. They specifically mentioned Nexus 7 in changelog.

Running Evernote 4.1 Build 20 on rooted 4.1.1 (Nexus Root Toolkit v1.5) with no apparent issues.
I ended up installing it on my SGS2. Pulling the apk to sd card. Copying that to PC. then connect N7 to PC and copy apk to N7 and install.
Shouldn't have to go through that hassle...

Anyone finding that Dolphin 9.0 says it's incompatible with the Nexus 7 running stock 4.1.2?
I just went to install the new Jetpack add on, and found that the version running on my N7 is older (8.5 something) versus my phone (running a CM10 based ROM with 4.1.2 in it).

Doesn't look like jetpack is available yet for tablets. Where jetpack requires 9.0 where you found out that the current N7 has an older version.
On an off note, there is a Dolphin for Pad version. Made for Android tablets. However the browser is not compatible with the jetpack add on...yet. Be patient, I'm sure they will come out with a tablet version soon.
Thanks for confirming.

Just received a response from Dolphin support:
I'm so sorry for the inconvenience.
We find the issue occurs while installing Dolphin Browser on tablets. And we are currently working on it. Please keep update with us.

+1 Was just about to ask the same question, its the same on 4.1.1 and 4.1.2 "not supported on your device" i can install jetpack though, gutted because its a really smooth browser, why isnt chrome that smoooth!?
What i did was sideload the dolphin 9 apk from a titanium backup on my phone. Just shared it to google drive and installed from that app on my nexus...installs just fine and jetpack works as intended.

Is flash compatible with Dolphin?
Dolphin is visible in the app store again. They must have fixed the compatibility flags.
I seriously doubt if the new version works with Flash though - we had to use a specific older version for that.
Someone install the new one and try it!

Yep..they fixed it and I can install it on my tablet today. Last night it wouldn't.
Really fast browser....but why don't they make the interface better? You have to press 3 buttons to get to share or settings.
Anyone have issues with 9.0 constantly crashing? I've never had it either just "disappear" or pop up a "Dolphin has Crashed, E-mail debug log" before today, and it's happened twice in the space of 5 mins with the latest update.

Yeah, wiping its data cleared up my FC issues.
But I had to revert to the previous version- the context menu (long-press) is gone on images, so I can't save them anymore. I've reported it though, so hopefully it'll come back in the next version.

They released an update to Jetpack (go figure) that fixed this today, so I'm now up-to-date!
Hello everybody,
I own a Samsung Galaxy Nexus and since the 4.2 Android update was available I checked my updates and it doesn't show up where my friend's nexus 4 got it immidiately.
My question is, what's the potentional causes of this, and could updating from the computer solve this (also how do we update from the PC, I am really new to the Android world) ?
Thanks a lot.
Follow this guide.
Note that if you have the Verizon version there's no official 4.2 available as of yet, head over the development section to grab a 4.2 ROM instead.

If you have the VZW nexus, you won't get it. It has already been pushed out to the other ones.
Actually, this guide is the one to update incrementally with: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1419170.
Also, you could adb sideload your update, if you're fully stock, google it from android police, i believe...
Hi
I recently had an update to my Nexus 7 (Original Version) and since then it seems very slow to boot up and when I log in with my password the virtual keyboard seems to change between numeric and script by itself.
The problem only seems to be at login and seems to require a waiting period between switching to numerical/script on the keyboard. The keyboard seems to work OK once the Nexus is in use.
Does anyone else have this problem since updating to Android Version 4.3?
My device isn't rooted.

Why you post here if you said that you have the Original Nexus 7? You should ask here:

Probably because my bookmark for my tablet took me here. Didn't notice it had changed since the new version came onto the market. I have now reposted this on the correct forum.
Folks,
Look at this screenshot attached.
I am an ex-googler and seems that when i was using this phone (Google Nexus Prime, i9250 or Nexus3 as they say) I was using internal (Google internal) upgrades. But probably I left the company while I was having an interim build and since then could not move to latest ICS or JB.
Hope fully you got the issue. Could you please guide me on how could I get to the latest android without hassles? (my current build IMM76B is probably not known outside Google)
Help please.
Regards,
Ankit

Q&A for [MOD] 4.3 BLE libraries+xml for every ROM (stock or custom)
Some developers prefer that questions remain separate from their main development thread to help keep things organized. Placing your question within this thread will increase its chances of being answered by a member of the community or by the developer.

Hello,
I used your BLE patch for my nexus 10 with the 4.4.4 android version and it works perfectly : thank you !
Do you know if the lollipop update supports the BLE or if a patch will be also necessary ?
I don't want to update my tablet if i lost the BLE support...
Thank you in advance.
Hi
New to community. Great resource for my Nexus 7 (2012) and Nexus 10.
Interested in bringing BLE support on Lollipop for my N10 (rooted with NRT. Thanks Wugfresh!).
Hey, sorry if this is a noob question but in order to flash the ble zip files on my galaxy nexus, does it need to be rooted?
Gear fit problem with GN BLE
Hi,
I am trying to hook a Sumsung GearFit band to my Galaxy Nexus, so far without success:
The BLE driver seems to work - been able to connect to my car as before and the GearFit is visible to it.
However, the 'Gear Fit Manager' app, that must be installed to connect to the band, crashes while pairing the device
That is, the app recognizes the band, tries to pair (I've been asked to accept the request on both the band and the nexus), then crashes.
At that point, the Nexus marks the GearFit as "paired" but the GearFit Manager (after relaunch) does not recognize it any more.
I have no way to know if the culprit is the "GearFit manager" or the BTE drivers as the failure occurs at the end of the pairing process...
Has anyone seen such problems?
Thanks,
Eli

BLE support for Nexus 10 running Android 5.0.1 (LRX22C)
Hi,
there is a very usefull thread "[MOD] 4.3 BLE libraries+xml for every ROM (stock or custom)" where a zip is provided to bring BLE to the Nexus 10 (and Nexus 7).
It works for some users, but unfortunately it works not at my place. What I'm doing wrong?
After loading the BLE4manta_AOSP_LRX22C_patch.zip it is not possible to switch on Bluetooth on my tablet. So even classic Bluetooth is not possilbe. But after loading the anti-zip provided also there, Bluetooth works again (but of course only in standard mode).
I plan to check BLE support with BlueScan. This app works and finds my Robomow on a Samsung Galaxy Note 12.
Any other experiance or hints using the zip's? Thanks a lot.
Bluetooth 4.0 LE support for Nexus 10 (manta) running Android 5.0.2 (LRX22G) needed?
Above patched for nexus 7 grouper please make for nexus 10 (manta) I'm very appreciate for your help, thanks
Bluetooth 4.0 LE support for Nexus 10 (manta) running Android 5.0.2 (LRX22G)
I installed ROM Manager and flashed the ZIP to add BLE, it was reported successfully installed but after the reboot and checking BLE is still unsupported. When I FTP and check the properties of one of the files that should be changed its last modified date is 31st Jan at 10.14 which is when I installed 5.02.

Got it working, installed the latest Purity ROM and that supported BLE but a lot of google apps would not, so installed stock 5.02 ROM and flashed the zip using flashify and this time it worked. Odd how it would not work on a old stock ROM but would on a newly installed stock ROM.
Spoke too soon, the app to check if BLE is supported says it is but now Bluetooth cannot be enabled. But flashing the stock zip took the bluetooth back to working but not BLE capable of course.
How progress is going?
Hi, wbedard! How progress's going? I have Nexus 7 2012 on 5.0.2 and can give some help.
