new nexus means new accessories - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

do we know of a good place to get accessories for the gsm version besides hitting up google like we did for the phone? i want this pogo pin dock.
maybe we need a buyers guide. :good::good::good::good:

Try searching in the accessories sub-forum, you should have better luck. I am not gsm so I can't answer from experience, but if I were you the first place I would look is Amazon.

Why do the topics say "Never"?

Hi all.... I'm just curious. I am planning to purchase (hopefully) this phone if it coes to the US and for AT&T (or I'll switch to whoever carries it). The two sub-topics in the forum - Accessories, and Themes -- say "NEVER" by them. Is there a reason for this? Hopefully this is a simple question to answer, as it doesn't make sense.
Thanks in advance

no one has ever posted a topic on accessories so thas y you see a never as in never been posted
More than likely this phone should be compatible with most any Current HTC accesories out there (apart from cases that is). It's got the same combination connector and same software so it should all be good for the most part.

Where can I buy the HTC Desire Z?

Hi there! I'm unsure to whether I'm allowed to ask this question, but I did check and search the forums, no one has asked this question.
My question is pretty specific.
Note: (not asking about G2)
Where can i find an HTC Desire Z?
(specifically the NAM Bell Version with the correct bands to run AT&T 3G)
and for how much?
P.S.
I already know about the Negri Electronics one, just would like to know more options!
If you're not allowed to post links please PM me!
Thanks in advance!
There was a similar thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=875692
And also some discussion of where to purchase on this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=873476
I got mine from Negri. Not the cheapest place. But they were in stock (they have live webchat support on their site, and he was able to check it realtime), and it shipped about 2 hours later. Great service. In addition to the coupons linked in on of the above threads, there is also an offer which saves you $20 if you use Google Checkout (I used this one):

There are a couple other similar vendors around, if you look. Or there are some on eBay. You might be able to get cheaper if you look around, bid in the eBay auctions, etc.
The phone is absolutely fantastic. You will not be disappointed!
Wow, many thanks! You can conclude I'm pretty blind forum wise, regardless you helped me so I am thankful. !

You can try the market on XDA... http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=476
You can also try Android Forum's site, they have a classified section.
They won't let me post a link here but, I'm sure you can find it.

Sony Xperia SX SO-05D MT28 - support.

I have managed to acquire this amazing phone direct from Japan. Everything is working well - but I was wondering if there is any customisations available for the phone - does anyone have any links to support information? Because it was only released for Japanese markets, it difficult to find much information about the phone. I was looking specifically for:
1. Cases
2. Anti reflective/fingerprint screen protectors
3. Rooting instructions.
Thank you
This phone really is a very Japan-specific phone and you're the first person I've seen on XDA who owns one. As far as I know you can't unlock the bootloaders on Docomo devices, so you're best off trying all possible root exploits and hope one of them works (look at those for the T or TX, they're the same as the SX software-wise, not the S). If you're already on Jelly Bean chances are you're not going to be able to root it. You're probably best off looking on Japanese forums for more information. Chrome with Google Translate should help you get started.
On the accessory part, well, Amazon or eBay will be your best shot. Since the phone is only sold in Japan you can't expect any other store to have anything available...
Good luck, enjoy your phone! It's really one of the best-looking Xperia's there is!

Much more helpful answer ending a positive note. Thanks for that... will see if anyone else able to contribute.
I found this from the 2nd or third result a Google Search for Xperia SX root. BTW, that was published on 2012, so it's not exactly new.
Also, have you tried the other methods, like Bin4ry's or the other one click method that's floating around?
I've moved this thread to the Q&A forum where it should have been created originally.
I've also had a cleanup here.. Let's try and keep things on-topic and friendly henceforth.

Hey, thank you, I have tried this now and the rooting works...
Now just the other questions about cases...
Hahaha, trimmed down to like 4 posts, oh well. About the cases, I think you're definitely gonna have to fire up Google Translate and get ready to spend some yens. You seem to be the only one around here with an XSX, so I doubt you're gonna get much guidance.
Right - if anyone is looking.
1. Rooting - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=36014406
2. Anti reflective screen protector - http://www.amazon.co.uk/atFoliX-FX-...=1369603591&sr=1-19&keywords=xperia+sx+screen
I have not come across a decent case yet.
Hope it helps some people.
Hey Folks,
Here's my contribution:
1. Rooting for Current latest ICS firmware (.137):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=41311827&postcount=205
2. Plastic Cases for Xperia SX (I bought my phone from them, very good service):
http://www.kyoex.com/so-05d-cases-covers/
3. Alternative Cases (Leather cases that Fit the Xperia Sola will be a very good fit for the SX). I love leather sleeves, I bought this from Amazon:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B007NIDD4M
Hope this helps.
Leather Cases!
Hey Folks,
I was searching around the internet for a long time and found that PDair makes leather cases for the SX but supplies it to Japanese companies for distribution.
I sent them an email and now they have added the phone cases to their worldwide shipping website:
http://www.pdair.com/index.php/smartphone-cell-phone-pda/sony-ericsson/sony-xperia-sx-so-05d.html
Enjoy
The phone comes with screen protector already on. Look and you'll see that is there.

Looking for case for running/exercise with g pro

I also posted in the Q&A thread, however if I am correct more people check this section of the G Pro forum so I copied the link to my post here as well. Any help would be appreciated. The link to what I am looking for is below.

@rjmxtech I'd recommend Armpocket. In haven't found anything better to carry your phone while practicing sports.
They're a company from Miami if I'm not wrong. Just Google it. Also, they ship overseas if that's the case.
