Yea I flashed it... Is it over clocked?
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium

I for one have never noticed any battery improvements from any kernels. But I have noticed worsened battery, even after giving it a few days to "settle" in.

not overclocked you do not need to have an overclocked phone..speedy as it is already and flash modules once you flash the boot.img

For some reason I can't flash any custom kernel. :-\ Always bootloop.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium

Everything stock, unrooted and satisfied.

Currently using Bricked Beta 0.35 kernel and after 2 charges i'm happy thus far, though i'm still waiting for that flawless S2W version.

Always on latest viperx Rom.
For me faux kernel is fastest and with great gaming result. Battery is normal (not bad not great)
Franco kernel has the amazingly useful update.apk and I wish every kernel had that. Tho not quite so fast like faux but still great kernel. Battery not not tested enough.
From my HOX Please hit Thanks if i helped

I can't. I'm unable to unlock my device through HTCDev. It has a 'banned' serialnumber due to my carrier not allowing unlocks, root and all the other stuff contractwise.

Okej that i have never heard before. So sad. Try to pm viper rom devs and ask them if they know something

Ready for rooting...but I want to be sure...

Hi guys! I got my One x Yesterday and now Im ready for rooting
I readed around our forum and found 3 interesting thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1577671
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1592355
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1604439
the last one its an all in one toolkit to root our HOX.
which's the best for you?
Also: which rom do you recommend (I like the stock features and look with some tweaks)
thank you guys! And keep up the good work to all devs!
use this thread. that is the one i used and very straight forward mate.
and use ARHD if you want close to stock with few tweaks. But still if you want a rom that is stock but with loads of tweaks and has the unique tweaks and always one step ahead of the competition use Team PKMN rom... for me that is the best rom at the moment and basically has mods and tweaks that no other rom has and support is brilliant and well the themers of that rom actually know how to theme and not think to much of themeselves
Rom that i am talking about and suggest:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1625816

in the rom thread you wrote i read the HOx must be s-off or htc-dev unlock...correct if Im wrong: with s-on we cant flash boot directly right? so how I can s-off my HOX?
At the present there is no way to s-off a HTC one x. You don't need s-off to install a custom Tom or kernal however. Just follow the instructions in the help thread and you should be fine.
HTH.
Do you use any particular kernel or the one with ROM? Set cpu can help having better battery?

If you want latest kernel changes, you should repack. However, some people have reported having problems booting with repacked boot img.
Try with repacked boot.img first and if you can't boot flash the modded boot as it is.
so I ended up just using the modded boot.mg as I didn't have time to repack and alas it wouldn't boot. So ill try repacking and see how that goes. Got to get back to cyanogen as the jb camera takes really crap indoor photos. Like they are extremely blurry.

If you want it to work with gps, forget it. There's no way.
Without gps, flash the boot from post 9308 at cm10 thread.
If you can't boot, you're doing something wrong.

Don't give a sh*t about gps as mine has been broken for ages. And I have no idea why either... Even before the 1.xx.xxxx version was updated. Actually I think my gps only worked for like 1 - 2 months of having the phone. I'll try that boot.img thanks mate.

[Q] OTG Self powered kernel for ICS

Hi guys
I have a question. I'm quite new to one X modding. I have unlocked bootloader in my new hox, then I rooted the device. I'm still using ICS because I don't have possibility to upgrade it to jb - my cid is orangb10. I heard that on jb, kernel supports self powered otg mode. I'm looking for kernel like that for ICS. Could you tell me sth about it? Which should I use?
And second question is: if there no way to gain self powered otg I found the enternity project kernel which supports otg mode. Can I flash it on stock ROM? Or maybe you know better kernel?
Many thanks
