I have just upgraded my HTC 620 to WM6.
All is good but running low on RAM / Memory / Storage and I am a little confused about which is which.
Nothing running in Task Manager...All of the other applications installed on storeage card....
After a restart it shows
Available Storage - 28.96 mb
Total Storage - 58.11 mb
Available Memory - 14.16 mb
Total Memory - 43.56 mb
The System information for the device says
RAM 64mb
FLASH 128 mb
Any suggestions to easily find our what is taking up the memory and space.

Is there any way to relocate a part or the all Storage Memory to Program memory on the Universal?
No. They are two different modules now(RAM and ROM)
Ok If I'm not in error the Universal have 64MB RAM is it? Why then there are only aroynd 50 visible in windows? 14MB are missing somewhere? Is this missing space used for the Page pool? And fot it only or are there other thing running there?

Is this Pagepool sometning like the swap file in Windows?
And teoretically specking can the pagepool be moved to elsewere? Let's say empty Extrom?

If your looking for Program Storage, then a bigStorage Rom is what you need.
If it's more Ram for program usage, then look for a "lite" Rom and search for program to change Pagepool to 4mb. You could try 2mb, but I would recommend at least 4mb with a lite rom. This should give you about 30mb before you start installing stuff. Then use Schaps Advanced config 2 and change the file cache to "Auto". Good luck

my kitchen is based on Anryls WM6.1 - 19212 German Kitchen
the problem i got on my manila ROM (its a BS) is the RAM or Program storage,
when i put a SD in the slot i loose 9% of program storage
(program storage with no SD is 24,69 MB / with SD 20,56 MB or less)
so how can i fix this in my kitchen ? need minimum 22 MB with Storage card !
i need some registry settings or else that can help me, plz

When a device has a storage card inserted, it'll always consume more RAM however, that's a bit too much. As a work-around, have you tried changing the pagepool to help increase the RAM?
no, PP is always on 4 MB in my ROMs, but now i had turn off my OEM Pack "Storage Manager Settings" from Starbas64 Big OEM package release this do not work well to the RAM of my ROMs. I had try without this, now it is with no SD at 23-24 MB and with SD on 22 MB after 1st boot, after i add my apps i used my hermes more then 8 h i got with SD card 20,78 (i used in this time : W.V.D., youtubeplay, TCPMP and some other apps), i think for a manila2d ROM with BS (thx to joshkoss for the BS-NonBS pack) its ok or is there something else to do to get more RAM ? i think i was too sleepy at that time, 36h i worked on this for my final release

try removing office and you might have a little more ram.. also be sure bluetooth audio gateway's are turned off.
can you try
using my boot RGU from my xip for 21109 attached here. and if that has same also try xip for 21109 attached

you can get rid of IrDA and others, too:

Next thing is to make some XIP modules from regular exe, dll and mui files - it can really give you some significant amounts of RAM.

had used ur xip 21109 and ur bs files works great(dont removed office and onenote but HTC Opal vol control and large titlebar[+3 MB RAM] ),after first boot free programm storage is with no SD in slot 24 MB and with SD 23,xx MB, internal data storage is at 39 MB, thx
changing the ROM-Info on first bootscreen works now
