How do i root a stock 2.3.3 Desire bravo? Softwareversion 3.14.405.1
I've tried unrevoked but that doesnt work, and the androiddev section is full of outdated stickies. Can someone get me going?

I recently bought a htc desire hd and i want to root and install custom ROM (I prefer ROM with 4.04 android and sense 4.1 )

where i should start because i am new to root an install roms ????
and if i install android 4.04 is easy to return to android 2.35

You are S-Off, which makes it easy. If you don't have a recovery fastboot flash a recovery, then flash a ROM from recovery. Instructions in the Ace Think Tank linked in my signature.

[Q] HTC DESIRE 816G Reroot

I rootet my Phone HTC Desire 816G (Mediatek) with Iroot. I succesfully rootet it with that tool.
Then after a while i did a system update (OTA) . Then my root was gone and i was not able
to root it again . Tried all (!) Rooting Tools available. any Ideas?
I have no CWM or other Recovery things installed.
