Matte screen protector?

has anyone tried any matter screen protectors? I don't see many around and haven't found anything reviews. fingerprints are killing me so any reviews would be nice

it works but size isn't ideal.
I would steer away from these matte protectors as they generally degrade screen quality of high ppi screens.
there is pro and con to every screen protector. just have to pick your poison.
im using matte , worst desion ever , MATTE KILLS THE SUPERAMOLED screen
the i got was about 4 dollars is a perfect fit but i hate it , i hate it with passion feel like ripping it out by the one i bought should reach me anytime so ill be patient till then
i dont mind finger prings u can wipe them off but matte just makes ur screen look dull and awful.
Consider a Zagg screen cover. Idk if they make them for GN yet, but I had one for my incredible and loved it. It was a bit pricier, but screen showed through great, it was fingerprint resistant, and is guarenteed to be replaced if it punctures or what now. Its also a softer material so in my experience it didn't scratch at all.

Tried the tempered glass ones and they all had issues. The biggest issues were glare, touch sensitivity is gone, not case friendly.

This actually looks interesting. The TPU ones I've tried are soft and show marks very easily. Looks like a potential alternative.

I would love to review the product as well. I am curious to see the difference with Dendrobates vs. the other tempered glass screen protectors on the market. I've tried several and only one seemed legit. This protector looks to be a winner.
I will try it. Ordered.
No Prime though.... delivery August 23rd.
Subbed... I also sent an email to the address that thescreenmax left, to see if they would send me a sample to try. I hate not having a protector on my screen and I just tried out this one called ProGlass by tzumi and it's horrible. Wouldn't stick to my phone, not full adhesive and had this horrible looking glue line around the edges. Getting my $20 back from Walmart tomorrow.
I have a Phantom Glass protector on my S5 and been there for 3 yrs... they are suppose to be working on an S8 and S8+ versions, but all I keep hearing is soon... well its not soon enough for me haha.
I need something now before I end up with a scratch and throw a gasket and the video for this Dendrobates looked pretty cool. Granted I like tempered glass... but after seeing them use the wire brass brush on it and left no scratches, I was like.... ummm I need to try one of these!
I sent email as well. Would be willing to review on Amazon.

The protector seems to be full coverage. Is it case friendly? I would be very interested in trying it as well with my Spigen Ultra Hybrid case.
these look a lot like the jolojo screen protectors (i have one on my phone now) - they are definitely pretty good but aligning is a pita - would be nice if one of the manufacturers included a guide that some of the glass ones have been coming out with.

Yes,it is fully covered and case friendly. You can see the real picture from Amazon shop. The screen protector and case is like handshake.so no way to lift the screen protector.
Still waiting to hear back through email. I'm looking to see if this is a better solution when compared to the wet application PET protectors. None of the full adhesive tempered glass protectors seem to be widely available/work well. This may just do the trick after watching the video.
Looks interesting.
Hybrid material sounds a bit iffy though.

I also live in India and there mi homes in my city and in local market also there is huge range of covers and glasses I whould also recommend to go in local market in normal conditions but the original one is good and cheap so......
I have used Tempered Glass protectors for all my phones in the past and I can tell you a difference between the expensive and cheap ones is in the adhesive type used.
In my experience 99% of the tempered glass from aliexpress are those of the cheap adhesive type.
They come off pretty easy, sometimes even after a few weeks/months on its own.
The one which are more expensive have adhesive that "hardens" over time and will reach maximum hardness after one week. Those are hard to get off.
I've contacted the brand which I have made best experience with when it comes to 9h tempered glass.
They told they have already planned one for the redmi note 5 and their product will be available starting next month on amazon. They will even send me a notification mail once it gets live.
I will link it here once I get it.
How is touch responsiveness with hard glass installed ? It is much worse ? My dad had one installed on Galaxy S7 Edge and since I saw him touching multiple times on one spot because screen wasn't responding I became very scepticall about hard glass

The thing is you don't need 9h tempered glass as your tempered glass is more strong then your phone glass if you throw your phone the phone screen will crack leaving the tempered glass with no damage ,I will recommend buying the glass which is lower in hardness scale then your phone's glass as when tempered glass breaks it absorbs the force so better protection for you phone.

no he's right, technically...
If the screen protector cracks first, it absorbs and disperses more of the impact force within itself...
Shouldn't matter that much in practice, these protecters aren't really gonna be 9h...

Best fitting screen protector?

any suggestions for screen protector to buy in india
the one mentioned above is not feasible to be bought in india
I've just installed the ScreenKnight screen protector on mine, I ordered for the iPhone XS Max and the fit is not bad at all, I'm from the UK and this is a UK company, here is the link for it, select the case fit, so it shaves a few mm from the sides and not sure if they ship outside the UK, but I've used them before and it's the best option for curved screens IMO, I've attached the photos after applying it, keep in mind the water bubbles will clear after 24h, yes you have to dip the screen protector in soapy water so it can be handled, just read the instructions carefully if you are going for this screen protector, just happy that I finally have a nice fitting screen protector, only had the phone for 48h and already had a couple of micro scratches, I'm sorted now =)
Anyone found one that actually fits yet? All the ones with black borders seem to cover the screen slightly and I've yet to see a good review of a clear one. There must be a decent one out there?!

Is that full adhesive?
AirGlass is my favorite! Perfect for Honor Play. Prevent scratches but not as hard as 0.3mm tempered glass.
Just bought honor plays for my kids from black friday sales. Any new reviews on screenprotectors?
Update: I bought this one. Pretty decent, you get 2 for a very low price. No black borders, and you'll have to apply very carefully. No cleaning kit given either.
Bottom edge can cover honor logo without compromising the top much, but the honor logo is *BARELY* covered. This is the case with most non black border screen guards due to the 2.5d glass on the phone.

The one from TVC-MALL is perfect.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07H2XKGVV/
Just about to pick this one up after doing some research guys, turns out the Mate 20 Lite is the exact same screen size, aspect ratio and has a very, very similar size notch at the top. The 20 Lite is a little bigger at 158.3 x 75.3 x 7.6 mm (6.23 x 2.96 x 0.30 in) versus the Honor Play at 157.9 x 74.3 x 7.5 mm (6.22 x 2.93 x 0.30 in) , but the glass is spaced in 1.5mm to be case friendly, meaning it should be an even snugger fit on the Honor Play. Turns up tomorrow and I'll let you know!
YEP. IT WORKS! Mate 20 Lite protectors are more available, better reviewed and they don't cut into the screen

The plastic screen protector for the note 9 was awesome. It was full edge to edge and didn't lift up with cases.

Except for a bit of rubbery feel I think its perfect.
The easiest bubble and dirt free application I have ever experienced with a screen protector
Works fine with both my pitaka and Samsung official silicon cases

This is why in haven't taken my stock one off yet. I do have a few pet type screen protectors to try out and also waiting on a glass one that uses loca coming as well (not WhiteStone Dome). When the stock one starts failing its going to be a screen protector fest for me to find the perfect one.

I didn't have much choice after dropping the device on the tarmac the Factory Installed Screen protector got damaged but it did a good job in preventing any damage to my screen !

Yeah my wife has already dropped hers and it hit face down on the concrete patio. Between the case and the screen protector it survived . Although it looks like it has dirt bubbles on the screen protector now. But she won't let me take it off to put something else on.

I've seen a Samsung screen protector for the S10+ here in Kuwait but it has a cutout for the front camera. I think I'll get that this week.

In Kuwait we don't have a Samsung online store ! I'll just go to the Samsung store at the mall and get it
The ones on the Samsung site are not the same as the factory installed ones.

The factory installed protector on my phone pretty much came bubbled up so I took it off the same day. I've been using the IQ shield screen protectors since then. Super easy to install, and come in a 2pack in case you mess one up. Can barely notice they are there once they settle in. They do have a plasticy feel, definitely not as smooth as the actual glass, but in my opinion it feels better than the factory one.
Below are some pics of how it looked overnight after install. Only flaws then were one small bubble in the bottom left corner, and one of the bottom right as well. But NOW, months later those are even long gone, and you truly can't tell anything is on the phone at all. Plus, it's been on the phone since March, with no scratches and it's also fairly fingerprint resistant too.

I haven't installed it yet as I haven't had time due to tornadoes that has ripped through my area but as soon as I do I will report back.
