No 'real' use' feedback but i notice its flush with the phone so it wont offer that little bit of screen protection you sometimes get. Just a thought.

I have 2. Its not flush.. it sticks up a *slight* bit and my screen doesn't touch when I place it face down on my desk. This case IMHO is the best that's out there. No its not bullet and water proof but its sexy and slim, perfectly fitting and a very high end feel. I have the white and black and both are great.

I bought it, it's shamelessly gorgeous. Everything else quoted by daddymatt. For the price, ya can't go wrong with it. I've already saved a white one in my wishlist for the next purchase.

I bought it when i first ordered my note and have had it on since (as well as bought one for the gal friend). It's freaking awesome, would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Own one as well and very very satisfied with my purchase.
Owned an SGP ultra thin prior and I prefer the Elago over it, due to its better fittment and less flashy look.

so I managed to drop my phone on the sidewalk with this case on. As luck would have it, it fell upright, bottom down first and made contact right at the part where the case ends and the phone begins. Even though the case took a majority of the hit, there is a dent on the phone's frame itself. Not the result I was hoping for.
On the flip side, I have also dropped it face down and there wasn't a scratch on the screen.
Bottom line, if you're looking for all around protection, it may not be your best choice. Maybe getting one of the aluminum bumpers could be the way to go.

Did you really thought that this case will protect the phone when dropped?

The elago slimfit case is a super all around case.. I have had the black one for about a week...
Interested if anyone has managed to put their Note/case into any of the docks available?.. i am particularly interested in either the Samsung vertical dock with audio connector or the triangular potrait/landscape dock..

Are you talking about with the case on? If that's what you mean, then it kind of fits in the vertical dock. It doesn't go down all the way obviously but it recognizes it as being connected, charging, and so on. Only thing I've noticed is that on AOKP it thinks the vertical dock is a horizontal one and wouldn't change for me.

Do you mean the samsung vertical dock or the hyperion one?.. the Samsung is of interest as it has an audio port..handy for wiring up slacker..
is the case easy to get off?.. whats the best technique?

I'm using the samsung one, here's a picture with the case and without the case. You can kind of see how it raises it just a little bit. Not much at all really. As far as removing the case, I start from the top left corner then pop it off of the bottom right. I don't like applying a lot of pressure on the power button.

anyone have the white one? is it grippy or is it slippery? cause the black one is rubber type plastic?

Its slick and shiny but it still grips... If you know what i mean.. Like glass.. I have white and black and they are equally easy to hold although they have completely different finishes.

Cruzerlite TPU Androidified REVIEW

Hey guys,
So Im fully migrated and with lots of cases to review. Im gonna start the serie with the Cruzerlite androidified. This case is one of my favorite ones (next to the diztronic) Its a perfect match between budget and looks. ITs thin, has the android in the back and gives good protection.

No. You just need to fiddle with the case until everything lines up. There's a certain way to put on right.

Dont start with a corner, start at the top or bottom and line up the mic hole. The other end will line itself up.
The fit really is perfect.

exactly, Its all about moving the case, Remember it is a tpu case therefore u can manipulate it a little bit. Dont get me wrong I thought the same thing, however after playing with it a little, it is just user error until placed correctly

Both the Cruzerlite and Amazon say that the cases are for the international version i9100. Can someone confirm if they fit the Tmobile T999? Thanks.

All Galaxy SIII are exactly the same physically. All cases and accessories ate interchangeable.

Btw - if you can't stand to look at the splotchy parts on the back of the translucent cruzerlites where it sticks to the phone, I followed another's recommendation by smearing a tiny bit of baby talcum powder inside the case, and it seems to work.
Maybe this is something cruzerlite could do at the factory? Talcum powder is a 1 on the mohs scale of hardness, so it's not an abrasive.

Damn, that's a good idea. I just tossed the cruzerlite to the side and got a speck case. I am going to have to try that. I like switching up cases every couple of weeks.

I just got mine today from Amazon.
Initials impressions is that it is quite nice. It fits pretty snug and looks nice on the phone. Especially if you like Andy the android. It is way easier to hold my phone now, especially with the side grips. I much prefer this soft TPU feel than to the hard plastic. There is a nice quality feel to the material.
My only complaint is the same as the users above me mentioned, the splotchy wet look on the back. Easily overcome with the talcum powder suggestion. Thanks zmore! Good looking out :highfive:

do you have any pictures

I had the same problem with the cutouts, but you can move it enough to line them up more or less. The cutouts are so big, they do not feel precision cut at all.
I imagine the talc trick would also make the case easier to move on the phone.
Not great with invisible shields as the case can pull up the edges due to the tight fit.
Overall, great for 10 bucks though.

[Q] Diztronic case and mercury screen protector

I was wondering if anyone tried the combination of the diztronic case and a mercury screen protector. The new mercury SP's doesnt cover the entire front anymore (see picture) and was hoping the rest of the front would be covered by the diztronic case.

I have the SP and matte case diztronic, and it shows a little bit of the S3 front screen when the case is on. its unnoticeable though. I have a blue Galaxy S3 and black case, black SP.

That actually looks really nice. I really like that the screen protector covers the Samsung logo, but hate that it adds the Mercury logo to the front of the phone. I would love to have an all black S3 with no logos but, alas, I've yet to find a way to do that.

the only drawback is that the menu/back key barely lets the light through.
EDIT: since it ships from china, it will take a while, but i have the red one and it covers up nearly everything save a tiny sliver on one or the other side.

do you have a case on the s3 or just the sp? because i really want the diztronic case and trying to figure out which SP would be best to pair with it

I didnt order the bullkin one. I kind of prefer the mercury because its anti glare. lol.
Btw, my phones back cover has a xtremeguard back protector and when its not there, the case wraps much better on the phone and doest show the original screen of the phone

thanks a bunch. That was the one I was looking for (but in red) I know ebay has some for sale and I remembered someone here said they're buying one so i'm waiting to hear their response in regards to "lift" for the bumper.
the only thing that bothers me about that case is that it's a cutout of the buttons rather than a cover.. but that's why i'm thinking of taking apart my other case to modify to do so. I'll see if I can post results if it's successful.

this one is red.... im thinking about try it because i have the same one but the slider version and not the screw.

also i like the cutouts.... cases with a cover over the buttons tend to be too sensitive or impossible to press the buttons

oh god. that case, i have a black one of that. One of the screws goes through the hole, but this is because of the case being defective. But the piece where the screw rests, gets. The case looks good though, but the buttons are too deep in the case. You wont be able to press them with ease. Maybe when youre done modding ill try the case again.

btw, since you said you have that case, when you place the phone on its back, does the camera lens still touch the surface it's laying on or does it give abit of space?

No it will not touch the surface. And btw, if you end up buying the case, let me know and I'll send you mines, I have no use of it. But only the bottom piece will be usable.

Best HTC One M7 Case Ever, It Feels and Looks Premium

Looks very close to the one I use. However mine's black. It's the poetic palette. I love it

i have the exact same one, the quality is great, it doesnt slip on your hand, very reasonable as well.

Just bought from ebay. Gray one is very nice, I hope the quality is the same as described in the video coz the one i got does not say MEIFENG

Definitely feels nice in the hand but for some reason, my ones surface reacted badly to the centre console material in my car or it might have been the air freshner block, and the coating started wrinkling up and coming away.
It's clear plastic underneath so I may just scrape it all away!!!

Agreed lol. I stick a case on it if I'm wearing my Raw Denim jeans. They're like sand paper every time I put my hand in my pocket, they scrape skin off my knuckles so imagine what they'd do to the phone over time.

What happens when you drop a phone in this type of case, is the front protected?, does the case stay on the phone or just come flying off?.

The material is very soft though, and as its a very tight fit, the last corners to get pushed onto the phone start to deform so I had to wrap a small cleaniong cloth anouth the bottom of the phone, the start putting the case on and then pulled out the cloth to force the case onto the phone without damaging the case. If that makes sense. Here some more pics...

I suggest the poetic atmosphere, I think it's great :good: I don't like cases, but when I don't have a case on my phones they find their way onto the floor pretty often - so I was looking for a minimal one too. (Only dropped the phone once with it on - on tile - still perfect :good

Well damn, looks like I payed almost double for the same stuff... and also got a screen protector which isn't applied yet... not sure if it ever will be.

It really is thin and almost invisible. Feels good, very different from TPU or silicon cases, it's not rubbery.Small bumps above screen can be useful, only lower side is not protected that much.
There are some small imperfections, but overall, I like it. Got it in only 7 days which is almost unheard of here, so thumbs up for this seller.

Very nice fit and feel, also soft touch. Mine broke though, there is a very small piece around the volume rockers, that broke.
So I ordered 3 new ones :laugh:

Can any one give me UK shipping seller link, This is The case I want, but seller wont ship to UK

How transparent is the gray one? Has anybody tried a white or gray one with a black One?
Also, is the drop protection decent?

That's the one i use. It was included with the phone when I bought it at Costco, (Sam's Club), depending on where you live.
