Hello!
Quick question, is the power button supposed to be more depressed on the GSM nexus than the volume buttons? (as in it lies flatter to the device).
I took off a very tight case recently and wanted to make sure that's how the buttons were supposed to be.
Thank you!
Yes, its also a bit less "clicky" and more soft. Had 3 Galaxy Nexus's, all like this.

Does anyone else's power button feel a little different than the volume rocker? It's perfectly responsive, but it feels a little less "clicky" than the volume rocker. It seems to be a little more recessed. It's not a problem, I'm just wondering if everyone else's feels this way.

Yeah, mines the same way. That's probably how it was designed. The power button is most likely recessed to keep from waking the screen by accident - in pockets, ect.
Cool. Thanks a lot for the response. I just wanted to make sure I didn't have some type of latent defect that could cause problems down the road, especially with such an annoying warranty process.

Yes I feel the same too. Hope it last long though =\

Yeh, was wondering the same here. It works fine, just feels a little squishy and not as tactile as the volume rocker.
As the title states.......
volume rocker feels loose and rattles about when you shake the phone. Anyone else have this with their Galaxy Nexus?
a bit annoying when i don't have my case on
no mine does not rattle at all.

haven't had it with this phone. as for my nexus s. it was bad.
Mine's a little loose but it doesn't rattle. Have you had it in a tight case?

solid here.

Mine is solid as a rock. The gsm version has super solid volume rocker. But the lte version has slightly loose volume buttons due to the bigger casing.
My volume rocker was loose a first, not loose like moved around, just didn't take anything to push it. Now it is more solid.

I haven't had it in a tight case. It was only in a otterbox commuter which doesn't feel really tight. But its been loose like this since I took it out of the box. Should I go back to Verizon and request a new one?

Only issue I have with this case is the power button is hard to press. I have tried to use the standard and extended battery and still have issues with it. The case itself is very rigid however making it a solid choice compared to the slightly looser feel of the Diztronic (Which I'm using right now). I would say if you can get past the power button, the case is a solid choice.

LTE here, That's good to hear though that it does loosen up over time. I just could not take the hassle of pressing the power button like that until it did though.
ahh well
I am thinking about getting this case.. but i am not sure how it fits the gsm version :/

This is the one problem I have with this case as well. The way I end up holding my hand to get good leverage to push the power button in causes me to often also hit the volume rocker with the other side of my hand. Other than that, great case.

Is your rocker volume kinda loose? Mine is, its like its not snugly fitted. Is this the same/normal for all galaxy note 2 phones?
My buttons are also a little lose. Seems to be normal.

Yes it is. As a matter of fact, I checked this on one of my friends' Note 1, and it's not that loose there.

Thanks for the reply guys. Maybe it is normal for note 2. I did had a note 1 before. The lock key and rocker volume were solidly built with the chasis of the phone. This will save time going to the store trying to replace the unit. Appreciate it!
Mine is loose too!
Thanks for making me notice it!

Hello all,
I have an issue with my commuter case for my s3. Whenever I try to press the volume up or down, the button seems to miss. If I press it straight in it won't change the volume, but if I push the rubber towards the front of the case a bit, it works fine. Does anyone have a solution to this?

is it in place correctly.. i heard u have to massage the rubber into place in order to have aligned correctly. maybe the silicone stretched and doesnt align like it should. common issue with otterbox cases
I am having that problem with my power button. On top of that, the button is now tearing off. Great case, but the silicone does not hold up as well as I thought it would. And I have only had the case less than 7 months. Bad part is I purchased it from a shop in CT about 2 and a half hours from me. My suggestion is to not take it off and on so much. Any way, good luck.
