[Q] help! weird kindle fire reboot issue

I installed fff 1.4a, but could not enter the recovery or fastboot mode
every time i select recovery in fff, it just loops
it does not work even using those utility tools to set the boot mode to 4002 or 5001, because every time i use adb shell set idme to 4002, my fire just run into fff and waiting for me to select the boot mode, and it either loops if i select recovery or just boot into the OS (CM7 for me) if i select normal mode
any body has meet the issue before?
i think i should remove fff first, any one knows how to do it under adb??
thanks !!

What recovery do you have installed and have you tried reinstalling it?

I stuck in recovery mode, what should i do?

Hi guys.
I had installed one of ROM's, i even don't remember the name, it was 5 months ago.
Then in Settings I pressed to reset factory data, which deleted all my applications, personal data and etc.
After that when it restarted, it stuck in TWRP recovery mode..
I tried installing several ROMs http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1619550 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1488930 but after flashing/installing it stuck again.
what should i do? :s
i tried googleing but nothing came up .. :s
Do you have the Kindle Fire Utility installed on your PC? If so you could try using that to set you bootmode back to 4000 (normal).
If you can mount SD card and move a new rom file and gapps try aokp do a full wipe factory/data ,cache, dalvik and system reflash new rom new gapps reboot or better yet flash the new bootloader via twrp and use the power button to toggle to normal boot or change bootmode
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1632375
Download and flash FFF 1.4A from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1632375
Reboot the kindle
See the blue and white logo
Press the power button
Don't press anything, it'll select normal boot

Rooted Kindle boots to Recovery by default

I don't know why, but my Kindle fire always boots to TWRP instead of booting to the ROM first. I can boot to the ROM by just doing the boot options when the device turns on. It's a little annoying though. Is there anyway I can get my Kindle to boot to the ROM by default instead of TWRP. Thanks
Go to the boot options (FFF) and choose "reset boot mode".
if that doesn`t work use this to install the newest twrp http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1500935 when exiting recovery select reboot then system this will correct your bootmode...

Kindle in bootloop in fff

My kindle fire is not booting past the kf logo and every time I use fff to go to recovery it just says booting and goes back to ff menu I did get into twrp once but it won't work and kfu says its online but status is unknown any help ?????
Thanks
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
Power off kindle, start KFU, select install twrp, connect Kindle, power on.
Place TWRP.img and Fastboot.exe(use search) in C:\users\(your_username)
open command prompt
Type(while it the kindle says kindle fire)
Code:
fastboot flash recovery TWRP.img
after that boot into recovery
OtterX bootloader
Try using OtterX bootloader

[Q] My fire won't exit fastboot

Hi, I was running CM11 on a rooted Kindle Fire HD 8.9 happily but decided to take the CM12 nightly and it's not gone well.
It installed but wasn't running correctly, here's where I made my mistake. Instead of waiting until I had a PC to hand, I did a factory reset on the kindle itself (i'm an idiot!).
Now, the kindle will start up into fastboot mode and take some commands but that's it. No recovery, no adb.
I have the android SDK installed along with google usb drivers and the amazon kindle usb drivers. The device appears on the PC (no yellow triangle, I'm running windows 8.1 and the driver is signed).
With fastboot, I can flash a boot and recovery image but I can't then restart the device in recovery mode or standard boot.
a fastboot reboot stays in fastboot mode. any volume and power button combinations won't take it into recovery.
i tried fastboot oem unlock but that doesn't get a response from the device.
I have the kindle SR tool utility (v 1.3.5). It can flash the images to the device but any attempt to reboot will always take it back into fastboot.
I've read countless articles but I'm now stuck. Have I killed my fire?
Thanks, Mike
"fastboot -i 0x1949 oem recovery" should reboot your kfhd into recovery. From there you can wipe system, recovery and data and re-install recovery, cm11 and gapps assuming the zip files are still on your device. Or you can erase and re-flash everything using fastboot commands. If all else fails you can first return it to stock KFHD OS using the system recovery tool. All you need is to get it into fastboot mode which it sounds like you can.

In my situation (Kindle fire HD 8.9 amazon OS 8.1.5) after install TWRP 2.6.0.0, the device is not loaded (always orange logo kindlefire at all) me helped Wipe> format data, after I then sent image cm-11 for devices, `adb push cm-11.zip /sdcard/`, and wipe cache and install cm-11 are successful.
Installing TWRP only for fastboot mode, in the fastboot mode `adb` command dont work, only `fastboot...........` command.
I hope something helped.
