I know this might seem like a noob question - but its been on my mind....and I've searched google and the forums + wiki....to no avail - that said I'm not the best at searching, so excuse me in advance for not finding it, if it has already been mentioned.
What is "referrals" in the "statistics" menu, under general information?

Referrals are when someone mentions you when registering. Basically saying that you referred them to the site. Moved to About XDA.

BAM! Resurrected once more! However fleeting it may (will) be with 2017 around the corner life has just bloomed into too many introspective conversations with myself. Getting older sucks haha...but I had no idea this was a thing until I was I had one of those bad boys on my stats chart *flexes muscles* :victory::highfive: I feel like due to the nature of that number being very...specific I should know who referred me but I haven't the slightest buaha I still don't have a computer to help with my claims of an aspiring dev...rent shouldn't be a thing IMHO haha

I'm just wondering if there's a full version of Android which works correctly for the HTC TP2, or are they still developing them?
I've been looking for one for quite some time now. Can't seem to find any.

I assume by "correctly" you mean perfectly, and the previous answer was correct - no.
Take a look around, the first three posts of any [prj] thread will have a plethora of information. But none of the builds are going to have everything working flawlessly.

Speakerphone and mic both work if you reallyntook the time to look you would see I posted the speakerphone work around and someone else the mic fix.
I can see why the devs for Android TP2 get annoyed with a blanket question like this. Yes there is a version for the TP2 that "fully" works. Buy a new Android phone with your money.
HTC never licensed the TP2 to run Android and much of the remaining functionality is cloaked behind proprietary code in particular drivers/modules for components specific to the TP2. So it's not a simple matter of just installing any old Android version and waving a magic wand. They've reversed engineered much of it and it's one of the hardest things to do in development.
They also do it for free. So either donate (which to your requests should be a rather large sum) or otherwise don't ask a question like this and simply search yourself.

Folks, I don't care how many times the forum guidelines are posted, or how many times you put "RTFP" out there for all to see, there are still going to be people that are too lazy to look, will ask the stupid question, then wonder why everyone wants to nail their nads to the floor for asking.
To put it plain and simple ..... Ya just can't fix stupid and their nads should be nailed to the floor so that they can not travel around freely and reproduce.
Personally, I think that folks that behave this way should be banned outright after posting a stupid question such as this. I know that we are all n00bs at one time or another and some of us have our moments still from time to time, but questions such as the one posed by the OP are outright stupid. It is very clear that this person never read the forum guidelines or checked the stickies before asking.

There are a few devs that have had this as early as last weekend - hence having the new 1.77 PRI. There is also a new radio associated with this release. It will begin to be pushed OTA by Sprint tomorrow (9/22) - and that is official.

Dont worry about it, just drop it. There are a few people that get pissed because it happens ALOT and by new people. So some people think they have to be rough so other people see and learn also. All I have to say is poor Toastcfh, he has to move all them and deal with the bickering. Just try to read the forum rules

I've been around SDX for a bit and jerdog has proven himself to drop some very accurate knowledge when it comes to release dates and inside info from Sprint. He's stated on a few occasions he's some kind of higher level tech for Sprint on the radio and towers end. I trust his info.
Is this going to mean new kernels once it and the source code are released. Im one of the rookies but im thinking the new stock kernel should have great battery life like the one flipz just released and with the fps fix worked in by htc it should be pretty damn good out of the box.
As many of you may have heard, we underwent routine maintenance on our Database Server last night (9/25). Upon rebooting the Database Server, it refused to boot and all indications are that the RAID 10 (what is RAID? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAID) array failed.
We have restored the Forums from a 24 hour old backup. We know this is not ideal, but at this point, the chances of recovering the failed array are slim.
We sincerely apologize for this.
Technical Info:
This maintenance was intended to boost the redundancy of our database setup and "lightening struck".
The maintenance was to update the OS and make a configuration change to allow us to introduce a slave DB server which would replicate all data on the primary DB server. We are currently running off this intended "slave server" as a master.

Pretty confusing: This post

That was me trying to be speedy; if you look closely, the number that follows the "?p" is the same on both links. I tried to link a different post but forgot that you need the post ID to be modified, not the post count. Fixed in my post above. Oops!

Can you clarify what happened?
The posts linked above talk about there isn't a need for android dev. vs original android dev., which I understand... but what is the status of Catalclysm? Is it not being worked on anymore?

Alas, Cataclysm has "died" before in the days of the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 4. Atl4ntis disappeared for a year or more then and reappeared magically for the N5 and gained a large number of users. However, if he can't hack the stress, it was hardly fair to build up an even larger keen collection of users on FOUR different devices. I'm bitterly disappointed, but sadly not surprised. At least he gave his reasons on Pushbullet.
This is a sad day...... for me and the rest of Cataclysm users.

Thanks for that link. But after reading most of the discussion, I think I need a drink (it must be 5:00 somewhere). It turned into a toxic lovefest/hatefest pretty quickly.

Thanks. I think I see his point about fairness, but man, does he have to be so nasty about it? Seems like he didn't really need to insult anyone, except maybe the XDA mods that he felt were unfair to him. But perhaps he feels it's a race thing (who knows, perhaps it is).
Anyway, it's too bad they couldn't solve the problems without going ballistic. Hope it turns out to do something positive.
This is all just sad...

When I read that post of Alex Cruz and the words he is using, I think there is jealousy involved. Why moderators wanted to move a thread is not clear to me.

Yes, and there is a fact. His method 'cata-mod' is and was very original. So I am confused too, and do not understand the moderators concerned. Especially because a thread with discussions about the 'why' is also closed.
This is not a simple 'not following the rules question'. Apparently we are dispirited to talk further.
I'm very sorry for Atl4ntis and Cataclysm.
He's been a very kind guy, always keen to answer help and fix bugs,
His ROM has been the best I've ever seen so far: a lot a customization, great features, great stability. A great balance.
I hope he will eventually be back, but he will be always remembered as one of the best guys and modder here!

I agree with you. He was also creative. The 'cata-mod' is unique. It's a black day the Cataclysm thread is closed.
