Yahoo! Go for WVGA - beta

Hey,
Surprisingly yesterday when being redirected to the yahoo Go page on my Xperia I got an option to sign up for the Yahoo! GO beta (which I am assuming is WVGA) since it will be supported on the X1.
Though the sign up page mentioned that it might take some 'weeks' to get the software because of high number of beta testers.
I was wondering, does anyone on the forum already have a copy of the wvga yahoo go app??

OMG finally, finally I can use yahoo messenger.
I was hating the fact that I can only use msn and aim ... 2 out of 3 that I use.

I am not sure, but i think I read somewhere that the new version of yahoo Go does not have messenger built in
I use Nimbuzz or BeeJive for all my IM needs.

I use Slick . Till now is free.

Is Yahoo GO available yet? All-in-one messaging programs always suck, and I want Yahoo GO.
Is it here yet?

I have been using IM+ all-in-one instant messaging app, and I find it all right. And yea, I'm looking forward to Yahoo Go as well.

palringo is my choice, maybe im too lazy to switch?

Login Problems With PEEP

Is anybody else having problems with Twitter on PEEP? mine logged me out and now when I try to sign back in it tells me my login or password is incorrect. I know this is not true cause I can sign into the Twitter app from the Market just fine and Twitter from the browser. I just wanna know if this is a known problem at the moment or is it just my phone?

Peep doesn't support xauth. Twitter ONLY supports xauth as of today.
HUGE mistake of HTC not tot have updated their app in time!
(But then again: are they ever in time with their updates?)

Twitter used to offer basic authentication for 3rd party apps to log into their servers. They removed that offer and now requre xauth which is a more secure authentication.

Facebook Messenger "incorrect signature"

Hey there,
everytime i try to log into the Facebook Messenger I get an error saying "incorrect signature" eventho the email and the password is correct (tripple checked it ).
For what it matters: Maguro version, latest Rasbeanjelly Rom, Trinity Kernel, latest Facebook Messenger Update.
Been searching to find a solution for weeks now

Hey, renna!
I had the same problem. It seems Facebook Messenger can't handle with special chars as ä, ö, ü, etc... Just temporarily change your password.

Hey renna, y r u using facebook messenger anyway? the facebook app now has messenger built in. Just sayin.
Plus Friendcaster n IM+ pro are gr8 alternatives.

thanks but i don't wanna use the whole facebook app as its a huge battery drainer. but thanks anyway

Uh ok, but it doesn't drain any battery on mine.I have turned auto refresh n notifications off.

I have the same problem.. when I created messenger account it took my name randomly. And now I'm not be able to access messenger as I dont know which chars should I use...its very annoying! What should I do now???

How are u guyz syncing your contacts with facebook ? Sync.me is down or something ?
I hate that hax facebook (red facebook logo, forgot the exact name)

What are your steps you did? Once you download the app you don't even need to open it. As long as you are logged into Facebook (via the official Facebook app) just go to your Accounts in Settings, and press Add account, and then select UberSync. It will then automatically sign in to Facebook, and start syncing after about two minutes. I've never once clicked on the actual app in the app drawer. Give it about ten minutes, and then go to your contacts, and you will see what it did. You may have to "join" some contacts from Facebook to your own manual adds you did, but it works really well when it's all done.

There is no substitute for sync.me on the market. No other app (like ubersync) gives u that much choices and handling of your contacts
Guess we gotta wait for them to fix it . I already read on their website that the problem is from their side and they are working on it

I'm not sure on what choices you mean, but I just use UberSync to simply sync my existing contacts with my Facebook contacts. Simple. What other choice are there to do?

I also WAS a Sync.me user, but I have bad news for us...
For what I read in their official facebook page (wich I can't link here 'cause I have less than 10 posts -.-') they decided to "divide" Sync.me into 2 different apps, one for sync and other for birthdays.
So they launched "Sync.me Birthdays" in the iPhone App Store and now they launched the new Sync.me app for iPhone too and they promise that an Android version will be available soon.
And here are the bad news:

they will come to their senses in time xD

maybe because you've deactivated notifications for certain conversations?
