For those using Arabic on their non-stock phones, you might have noticed that in the stock Arabic ROMs (1.28.415.9 & 1.29.415.11), Arabic had two different fonts, ICS "Naskh" & Gingerbread "Kufi". The font was also displayed in both "Regular" &"Bold" styles. But in custom roms, this was not the case, the only Arabic font displayed was ICS "Naskh" and only in "Regular" style, (no Bold).
The solution I found was due to two things, 1st (which is obvious), the "Kufi" fonts were missing. But just copying them did not do anything. Apparently the file "system/etc/fallback_fonts.xml" was different, so copying the missing fonts & fallback_fonts.xml from the Arabic ROMs to a custom ROM & rebooting, made the fonts appear similarly to HTC's Arabic ROMs, both "Naskh" & "Kufi" and in "Regular" & "Bold". The attached CWM flashable Zip to add the missing Fonts & fallback_fonts.xml.
I believe this should work on any HTC ICS device, not only the One X.

None of the Above... they have somewhat arabic character support but the letters don't connect and they read left to right..
The best ROM for Arabic is Cyanogenmod... I suggest SuperCM7 by htcclay http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1076691
as far as Sense roms you won't find anything with good arabic sorry (personal experience i use all roms)
The thing is I'm using RUU_Vision_HTC_ARA_1.83.415.2_Radio_12.28e.60.140f_26.04.02.17_M2_SF_release_168396_signed
It is the one and only sense rom I found, I did root it and it's nice.
But it's android froyo 2.2 and sense 2. I was looking for gingerbread 2.3.3 with sense 3.
Cyanogenmod is a good rom I tray it, But I like sense ROMs more.
With Sense I do Feel My HTC Special Among The Rest.
Any way I hope their will be gingerbread sense 3 ROM with Arabic support soon.

BTW. For those wanting to be able to read and write arabic language follow instructions from the link below. It patches framework.jar and libandroid.run.so. Itroed myself and it works. Can devs check this and if not too much trouble incorporate in next builds.

Thanx man for your effort. But I did tray this way already, it didn't work for me. Plus its not for full Arabic support, it doesn't include the browser SMS mail or gmail.

Right i've been using the LeeDroid ROM and everything's perfect. During install, it asked me on the AROMA menu if I wanted to remove sense and install AOKP. I chose to keep Sense (because I didn't want to lose stock apps; didn't know if they were included), but now i'm using Apex Launcher but I want to keep the AOKP GUI instead - Is there a way I can install it? Maybe by re-running the Leedroid ROM installer (I don't want to overwrite all my data) or something? HELP!!

I'm running 6.4.0 too - Right, i've installed the theme and stuff - only problem is notifications bar is missing (the dropbox DL patch for it has been removed), could you please tell me how to fix that?

There is a workaround for you though... as I need to have Chinese and Japanese reading too.
You can either download direct from Slim website or the OTA app in Slim rom: AdditionalFonts.zip

I recently downloaded the "ROM Toolbox Pro" app onto my HTC One V. At first I wasnt sure of all the things you can modify your phone with, but after looking and playing around for a few hours I got the idea. I noticed that you can change your [3G] icon to different colors and so forth for other icons on your phone. When I reboot the phone after applying a new boot logo, and Icon it didnt work at all. My first thought was that maybe you cannot modify anything with the Stock ROM? If anyone can tell me any information about this, that would be wonderful!
Also if I need to switch my ROM to something else, can someone please send me a link to a good ROM for the HTC One V that doesnt have any issues, and the full setup on how to do it? That would be wonderful!

One major problem to some no camera since it's kernel is ion based. I like this room a little more to cm10.1
If u are primou I'll provide u links if u like as always read tutorials and the instructions in the developers ROMs introduction post of what ever ROM u choose. Some ROMs have a little different way of that rom being flashed in order for it to work. As always i am in no way at fault for any thing or way that u may totally f up ur phone during the process of flashing my ROM or any other ROM/kernel.

Boot Animation - Install
I've had problems with getting new fonts on my Samsung Player 5 (ROM: Chip1.5).
Worse, the Boot Animation and Randomizer won't let me change the boot animation any longer. It was working (especially when I had the standalone Boot Animation app). Not sure what happened?

FYI this is a one v forum, ask in the player 5 forum so that people may be able to help with a particular ROM you're runnin
btw, Never use rom toolbox; it does more harm
Icon changer
I am new to xda developers and android. I recently downloaded rom tool box pro to my a116 running sam HD v3.2. whenever i tried to change my battery icons it says that icons missing and lists some 4 to five icons. after the first reboot if the battery level is above 90% there is no change in the battery icon but once it changes below 90% battery icons changes to what i selected in toolbox... why is it happening and how can i solve this... also i cant change my notification backgrounds... boot animations are working just fine with no issues.. somebody pls help...

Try installing Sphongle ROM or Omega ROM. They are quite perfect for everyday use. I've been using sphongle from last 8-9 months. Rom toolbox works perfectly in it.

I think you are talking about the modded HTC keyboard......you can install it on any gingerbread rom,but it isn't compatible with android 4.0+

Custom roms might have a problem supporting the languages. So might as well try the stock rom which supports a lot of languages
