Jelly Beam on custom ROM

Hello,
(I'm new here, but I look at this forum since many month. I thing you've seen I'm not English but I try to do my best.)
So my question: Will be a custom ROM on Jelly Beam soon on our Arc? I'm on MooDed ICS now, and I'm downloading the last version now, but it's GB with apps from JB.
Have a nice evening! And Thank you in advance!

This is a Jelly beam Rom.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1780316
It's still in alpha, but users are saying its pretty stable.
Welcome to XDA,
regarding JB we will wave to wait for a stable one built for ARC/ARC S, meanwhile you can use the CM10 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1780316 or even the http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1805410
Please keep in mind that there not final builds therefor so they might not be stable!!

It's ICS not GB, with some apps and such from JB you also have some ROM's like that one for instants: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1786871
Hope it helps...
Yes, I know CM10, I'll maybe try it later. I don't want a ROM 'alpha'. Ah ok I understand why we haven't a ROM (only CyanogenMod10) on Arc/S.
I know that MooDed is on ICS (The developper of this ROM updated it on GOO.IM but it's too slow to download =( )
So I'll wait a little to test JB! I'll wait when CM10 will be more stable.
Latest question: I saw that Sony will mybe do a official JB ROM for 2011 devices.. Do we know if Sony will do it?
Thanks you a much!
You can always press the THANKS button mate, about the official update, Sony said that only 2 models won't get JB so we have to wait to see when and to what devices JB will be for...

Oh I didn't see the THANKS button, sorry! Ok so.. wait and see
Oh and I thing we don't know when Sony will develop a ROM on JB for our Arc and 2011 devices? Because Sony Just give us a new firmware (.587) on ICS.

More Cyanogenmod9 Questions...

Ok question, I just realized there are 3 types of cyanogemod9: Stable, RC, & Nightly.
Can someone explain what each one is and whats the difference between them?
And perhaps tell me which one is best over all?

Hi,
RC stands for Release Candidate. You can compare theese ROMs as beta versions. There is no guarantee that they are bug free or everything is working. You can use this roms if you want som early previews.
Stable are the stable releases. Theese roms are out of the beta phase and they are suggested to be stable. By this i mean they should be mostly bug free and should be smooth running. Use thees roms if you want your phone to run safe and reliable.
Nightly roms are the roms that are coded nightly, they contain newest tweaks or updates but they are not fully tested. Nighltys are the RCs of newer stable versions so to say. You can use them if you want the newest stuff but there might be performance or bug issues.
I hope this helps.

Good information here, I'm running CM9 RC2, would you say CM9 Stable would perform better?

I would say stable would perform better, since it was released after the RC2. At least it should be the same performance...

[Q] Should I update to JB ?

Hi,
I am on Dk_Zero ICS (a discontinued ROM now, btw) and I would like to now if I should change to another ICS ROM, upgrade to a JB ROM, or stay on this ROM.
What do you think about that ?
Thanks in advance.
Since neither work 100%, from that position I'd say upgrade.
And what would you actually recommends in all ROM, GB and other versions included ?

I like this one as well. Otherwise I'd use CronMod by croniccorey. Both seem to be quite stable

[Q] Latest stable Firmware for Xperia S

Hi guys, i tried a lot of firmwares for my XS and havn't found a real smooth working one yet. Can anyone recommend me a good rom that's around latest android 4.2.2 and does work completely? I was very happy with the CM builds from freexperia but recently i found major bugs around the cam function (melting video after recording ~ 10m), HDMI (flickering or doesnt work at all) and trebuchet does crash sometimes..
Things i tried so far:
FXP 209 - 217
Official CM 9.1
MIUI 3.2.22 / 3.2.8
PAC 19.3 / 19.3.2
OpenSEMC Beta 2
Maybe there is just a version of the roms i mentioned thats very stable and i havn't tried, but maybe there's something other out there thats STABLE.. I looked around xda, but wasn't lucky finding a rom thats as stable as the stock.
I know that everyone hates those newb questions and it really sounds like i just should google or check all the threads here again but as you can see, i already tried so mutch that a'm a bit tired bein the dummy ;D.
Did you try official jelly bean leak? Heard that it is good. I think it is not allowed ask such question. May be I am wrong.
Anyway here is the link: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2252940
Yeah you should definitely check the leaked JB rom out if you have an unlocked bootloader. Near as stable as stock and fast as any JB rom.
You should try the latest official jb leak, really smooth!

because i heard that cm9 is fastest for wildfire s. you probably got me wrong, you know those light roms witch haven't got many apps that arent needed like, gallery, browser, to me you sense, they remove those apps that you can download from google play store that you wouldn't 2 similar apps like internet browser. that's what kind of rom i want.
thanks for your response

yes they are fast and stable, but i want best that i can get from that phone, especially when it comes to performance and how mutch apps i can install by my self, but so far as i saw there's none of that kind of roms available, there was some kind of a project of slim roms, but the developer removed them and now i can't find any of that kind of rom's available.
this was the project that i was talking about http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2068879
by the way the rom that you gave me the link is very unstable and haven't been tested fully and the rom project is being discontinued. ;(
Why not try some of the latest like:
CM7.2 - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2646338
CM10.1 - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2321283
Odexed version - (However this version of CM10.1: camcorder gives FC)
Both are very stable and fast.
Succes
