with all this android world evolving and changing now nearly all the devices are being upgrading to ICS.. so the MAIN PROBLEM of the XPLAY is that the touch pad and the joystick itself does not work on ICS?
there is no driver support for it? any thirdparty app?
there are some othe issues with the ICS for our xplay?

There is one ics rom named xdark ics where toucpads are fully working.
Sorry for my bad English. It's not my native language.

have you tested that rom? does it recognice all games as gb does?

I haven't tested it yet,, but everyone who has tested it said that all games work.

Please take an English class... It will help us all. It is broken on some ROMs due to the way it is handled in the OS.
But I'm here to save the day and tell you that Cyanogen Mod supports game pad and touch pad! Woohoo!

lol go back to stock 2.3.4.......... btw your using a very old version of cyanogenmod.....
My phone didn't vibrate at CM7.something. I upgraded to the nightly build and that fixed it. The touchpads also work for me.

FOR WHAT I SEE THE WIFI THAT WORKS...anything related is the same as koaan.thanks dev for this,i have the koaan version up in my gnex from 2 days..only problem is the wifi...let's try this and see how it goes.i'm very impressed from the koann version..if here wifi works,it would be my daily driver for some days...hoping that it isn't less performant from koann version

For what i see,now wifi works,and also 3g signal bars (on koann 3g works too,only the sygnal bars are bugged)

How is the compatibility of the gamepad and touchpad of stable CM9 for zeus? (The one released just days ago.)
Are the physical keys functioning properly?
Are the touchpads working properly too?

According to this XDA thread ( forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1826379 ), the proximity sensor and touchpads don't work.. ): Will the CM team apply a fix to this please?

proximity doesn't work, gamepads do, on some games. There is a fix for touchpads floating around which fxp never implied and never will. Also, no actually person from cm works on xperia phones..

Guys, I'm working on a fix to the touchpads on CM9.
We get very good results until now. Many games of Gameloft, Eletronic Arts, Glu Mobile, Madfinger and Square Enix that offers touchpad support is working with this fix right now.
It's not perfect yet, but we're trying to make as good as possible with tests and work and is the best solution for touchpad compability on the CM9 right now. I'm hope that we'll have a full touchpad support in a very near future.
If someone want to help, testers is always very welcome!

It would be best to check on the thread you got the ROM from and see what game problems other users have been having. You can also Try Markphyton's ICS or XDarkmario's ICS.

hi im new here.i just bought nova 3 from market.currently im using doomkernel v14 with stock gb rom.i got problem with this game which is my game pad is not working accept both analog.i've tried with other's game like gta vice city , maxpayne ..no problem. my question is ,is it possible the troubleshoot caused by i download nova 3 wrong version not for xperia play..thanx

Maybe the version you are using isn't 'xperia play optimized'. You need to find the correct version that is optimized

Nope, not from SONY.
No one of the 2011 Xperias will get JellyBean.
You have to flash CyanogenMod10 (CM10) or other AOKP based ROM.
Look on the link in the first line in my signature, in this thread you find a lot of ROMs.
This ROM supports Bravia Thecnologie? If not, will them support in futere? It's possible?

Which ROM ? CM10? Don´t know, have not tested it.
But look in the threads of the ROMs, there you always find a Changelog, or can ask questions there.

So maybe Bravia engine is just available in stock-based ROMs.
Like HDMI....
HDMI can be replaced with DNLA server or antoher method. I put video in HDusb connected with router and i watch them on tv lcd 40" through router with server DLNA. There are more method for watch video in HD but Bravia engine is not replaceable on the smart.
So maybe Bravia engine is just available in stock-based ROMs.

No original Sony JB, so no Bravia & HDMI on custom JB.
I really hope Sony will give the driversources to the XDA-Devs... would be great if they don´t want make a 4.1/4.2 stockROM. :fingers-crossed:

Yea, but i don´t think that they ever will do that for us Xperia2011 owner, even if the 2012 all have their JB.
Maybe they are afraid that the XDA-Devs do the better job than their programmers.... :laugh:
and there also will probably be copyright things with qualcomm and other companys.
