Just ordered a GN to replace my faithful old NS4G. Has anyone had any luck activating online with a Sero Premium account?
I upgraded to Sero-P + premium data when I bought my ns4g... hoping I won't have to fight sprint on this again.

For those of you wondering, I could not provision sero online, but had no trouble using Sprint customer service.
Activated, unlocked, rooted, and running great! Much faster and smoother than my NS4G.

Yeah no thanks. I like my plan and my bill.
I can see that getting really expensive the way I currently use my phone. I'd go to Boost Mobile if it ever came to prepaid.

yeah 60 bucks for 1GB of data.... wtf?!?! lol id rather do straight talk or metropc.. hell even pages if possible
Clearly it's not for everyone. Its for people who don't need unlimited and are tired of paying $80 a month. My bill went from $80 a month to $25. I use most data at home over wifi. There are many people who don't need unlimited.

This is predatory. They are preying on the mathematically illiterate.

Which prepaid carrier can you flash it to? Is it a guarantee?

Good luck!
My bad. Thanks. I should have looked closer and do more search on the forum. I was just under the rush of almost buying a mint perfect screen Epic Touch in white for $80.00.
Wonder if its worth it since primary carrier is verizon, and j don't like any service from metropcs, cricket. And i currently have a Galaxy SII T989 in white.

If its only $80 buy it even if you have no use for it and resell it on eBay, you'll probably get around $200 for it there...

Any idea why it has a bad ESN?
I know for a FACT that if it's because someone had it associated with an account that went unpaid/defaulted, it takes roughly 90 days for the account to become completely "closed" and taken off of "non-payment" status, that will free up the ESN. This *just* happened to me with a Nexus S 4G that I used to have on a friend's account (and he screwed me over).
Not sure about other cases (blacklisted ESNs) though.
Was that with sprint? I picked up an og evo awhile back off Craigslist and got burned on it...first and last time I didn't meet the seller at the sprint store... it was past due balance (calling *3 confirmed this, as sprint " technically" couldn't tell me anything about the account other than it was not stolen)... regardless I held on to it for close to 6 months before I sold it (on ebay, honestly, as a bad esn phone and got close to double what i paid for it... so it worked out well in the end) and the esn never cleared...

I put mine on Straight Talk. Been working great....just can't get mms to work but not a huge deal to me because I use Google Voice but would like to have it working incase I decide to sell it.
I recently switched to a 4S because I was having issues with my call quality on my Nexus and am wondering if I switch back to the Nexus that I should just have to do an ESN change shouldn't I?

Yes, if you have both phones in your possession, you can easily do it on the Site, or with a tier 1 tech over the phone, I switch phones all the time and they have begun saving my phone ESNs in my account lol.

Well I switched accounts that my old sim was associated with so I assume I'd have to get a new sim...
Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
Yea you'll have to get a new 4G sim card.
Can the gsm/hspa+ phone's be used on Verizon's network looking to buy one from google I've sent them a couple emails asking if it can i have gotten no answer yet

The things is, you can't be too sure about CDMA versions on eBay and the likes. They could be blacklisted on the networks.
Yeah...sucks but true. Verizon is CDMA. No getting around that. Either stay with Verizon and unlimited data and pay full price, pay subsidized price and get reduced internet, or jump ship.
I personally am going to get the HSPA+ one and use it with T-Mobile. 5 gigs of 4g and unlimited 3g for $30 a month

You have 45 days to open a buyer protection case, so no worries there. Just buy from a reputable seller and you're good. If you put it on a credit card, you can always do a charge back. I've bought around 50 cell phones on eBay, and only one was blacklisted. I contacted the seller and he gave me a full refund.

Any specific reason why you want to be stuck on Sprint with those 3G speeds? Unless you live in Texas (only 4G LTE out) I don't know why you'd want to go with Sprint over GSM + Prepaid plan.

Same argument applies to Verizon. But at least they have good service.
You couldn't pay me to go back to Sprint.
I'm not going for that horrible CDMA speeds even if they pay me...bad deal for someone to be stuck on sprint for 2 years waiting for LTE to come. GSM is the way to go or Verizon if network coverage and LTE is important.
I already have a pre2 gsm lol
Plus im still hoping sprint nv will improve everything.......
Nonetheless unlimited cant be beat so far ive used 18gb

Sprint won't be getting better anytime soon. Don't buy a phone for what you think it'll be. Buy a phone for what it is now...
I don't know how you're using 18GB a month, Sprint's speeds are atrociously slow.
Its on 3g and I get about 250KB/s so I have been netflixing/hulu/HBO go/xfinity play/crackle alot here
Honestly enough for me on a phone no need for 2MB/s so there lte here will be only a bonus. Other areas I agree too so slow hopefully lte there will help. Plus unlimited is unlimited no matter what.
Either the tower has been upgraded recently or hardly any sprint users here the latter is impossible since I know so many have sprint here.
Plus been downloading roms like mad
