I actually think it might be the fact that we were on jelly bean. It messes with things for some reason, other day i tried to odin back to stock and it didnt even work.. didnt wipe the internal like it supposed to. Later i will try to nandroid back to my ICS backup then try that and see if it works then.
Maybe they were just holding it wrong Put the link back up and let us mess with it
Take your time no one is going to rush you.
So this is for jelly bean not to ask a dumb question

How would i build a stable version from source? When i build using:

If I upgrade from nightly 125 with Wallet working will wallet still work for me? Or do I need to do a complete wipe again? Or simply flash the wallet fix?
Were do I get Google wallet for this rom?

I'm a habitual nightly flasher but fantastic to see the NS4G get its first stable release after 130 or so nightlies!

It's in NS4G Android development. You will see it a few threads down. Even after just upgrading from nightly 125 to the stable release wallet worked after I flashed the fix .zip then again I has wallet working on 125 to begin with because I did a complete wipe when I installed it. YES! Finally no more flashing stuff for a little while and simply enjoying a fluid CM7.1 and wallet! I'm deleting all my backups now and making just one of this stable release.
Oh yeah, anybody else notice their battery go to 100% now after flashing this stable? Mine did, I was surprised to see it display 100% and not 94%.

YESS!!! I came in here with a screenshot as proof because I thought no one would believe me Haven't seen that 100 in a while.
Does anyone else have two separate "Music" apps after flashing CM 7.1 and the gapps? For some reason I now have both the old style Music app (with the speaker icon) and the new headphones icon music app.
Otherwise, I'm loving the update.
The key to google wallet is flashing the fix directly on top of the rom you flash in the same recovery session.
I have taken the google wallet fix from the dev forum and modified a lil bit. Updated Shopper and no duplicate system nfc and tags apps.

What is this? Do we need to flash this on top of CM?
Does anyone else here get the occasional "black screen" where the phone won't seem to wake up and requires a battery pull?
I've had this problem on the last few phones I've had but it's only with CM. I thought it might be clocking/governor related but doesn't seem to be.
I think Cyanogenmod may be the best thing to ever happen to our (or any) phone and I'd like to get this figured out so I could count on it.
I will get the necessary pastebin put up the next time it happens; I was mainly wondering if anyone else had this problem.
Thanks!

I see you say torch is enable but its blacked out in the widget settings. Am I missing something? Otherwise seems to be running like a champ so far! Excellent work!

Torch in power widget will be one of the next steps. You have a widget on the ROM with toch that you can add meanwhile in the screen.

I see it has a 4.1 kernel but is it a jelly 4.1 rom? I thought the next version from CM is CM10?

this is CM9 based on ICS. Just upgraded the kernel to jellybean level including graphics and somo other topics since we have not the ROM code of jellybean.
Loving the kernel. Runs ALOT cooler than stock cm kernel temp wise and faster! Kudos!

I like your good constructive criticism..... Not. You obviously need to learn how to set up cm to run like you want it. Also ics is not as smooth a jb. Next time be a little more useful instead of straight up negative.

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4 (KK), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Code:
#include
/*

* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM

*/
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Cool! Is this rom good for daily use? Are those the only issues present?
Edit: Just noticed which device this is for... No GT-N8010?

Need to use CWM, the lastest version available.
Updated OP with gapps
Stupid question... Is there a way to install cwm on a SCH-I925? If I search for cwm and SCH-I925 I find nothing.
Unfortunately
Unfortunately, it doesnt work on the N8000. I would gladly test it. But it doesnt even detect the file. Same deal goes with the Gapps.

If I get time I will look at making this, but it will be a few days before I even look at it.
No worries, I have all the time. No haste. If you do, I would gladly become the first tester.
Any screen shots please?

This may be a really dumb question, and sorry if I overlooked something, but why is this posted in the Note 10.1 development if it's for the I925?

Wrong thread for this question.
Hmm so if the Verizon note 10.1 gets official cm11 I'm sure and hopeful that the WiFi version n8013 should get official nightlies soon

Any news about the N8000? I'm on OmniRom and we having a problem with the screen that goes white https://www.dropbox.com/s/f5r5ltdppw5iqsh/IMG_20131228_181900.jpg
I was wondering if you had the same problem with your rom since I believe the two tables share the same hardware.
If you need someone to test CM11 on a N8000 I'm available!
