Thanks.
I will try to do the same as I am doing in nexus S. Maenwhile maintaining Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus on CM I will also make some intermediate releases like the nightbuilds but fully tested by my testers so you can have some early stages of all we are doing at CM.

great work bro!
will test
I got a few questions though:
1) which features did you merge in from jb?
2) why should we use the 20120317 gapps and not the latest (20120429) ?
Keep going!

1.- this is not fully jb build. When we see all the code will be the moment to decide if this will be an extension of cm9 or a new version, not I can't really tell you what will be.
2.-If you ask for how to build yourself cm9, this is the manual: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Galaxy_Nexus_(GSM):_Compile_CyanogenMod_(Linux)

I also enjoyed your work on the Nexus S. Glad to see you here.

I have something weird going on. I'm running JB stock and I can view the 2nd page of this thread but not the first. Tapatalk will force close. No other threads do this on any other page. Could someone post the link to the download or loads of this ROM on page 2 or 3 so I can download it. My computer is at work and I want to try this one

I actually think it might be the fact that we were on jelly bean. It messes with things for some reason, other day i tried to odin back to stock and it didnt even work.. didnt wipe the internal like it supposed to. Later i will try to nandroid back to my ICS backup then try that and see if it works then.
Maybe they were just holding it wrong Put the link back up and let us mess with it
Take your time no one is going to rush you.
So this is for jelly bean not to ask a dumb question

Reporting Bugs
You are allowed to report bugs only in this thread. Before reporting a bug, please make sure you are running as stock as possible. This means no custom kernel, no custom framework modification, etc. If you are using any of the above modifications, please flash the rom again to get rid of the modifications before reporting.
REPORT BUGS IN THIS THREAD ONLY
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. The following is a useful format to follow. Note: If you can provide the latest night/build that the bug didn't exist, it would greatly help in tracking down what caused it.

FAQ
Does this ROM support FM radio?
I've checked and the new FM API in CM is not really compatible with our device without heavy modification. Applications using the new API expect to be able to read the FM input as it if were another stream, but FM on our device only does pass-through from FM receiver to speaker/headset, which causes certain functionalities to not work such as volume control. Maybe one can modify the audio routing table in the kernel to have it behave like the API expected, but I'm not really interested in investing time to do that.
TL;DR: No built-in FM radio except if someone else does it and submits a patch.
Can I request a feature?
If it is a feature in general CyanogenMod, please post the request at the CyanogenMod bug tracker.

No, the fix itself is not the proper fix. Not to mentioned it's already fixed.
Wondering will this device get 5.0 or not..

- Upgrading from another CM10.1 Build?
Do a Nandroid Backup!
Install the ROM from internal sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery
Optionally install the Google Addon
Note: The partition layout of CM10.1 is identical to that of CM10 and thus you may use CWM to backup/restore.

no, as you can see in the OP- just flash it! No problems here

Just a little positive status from me:
Update to this CM10.1 10. december version (from matt73300 version: http://orafle.fr/jbgalaxysmtd/cm-10-20121205-UNOFFICIAL-galaxysmtd.zip)
No wipe (and no backup!)
Desktop and all apps still working.
Quadrant Standard benchmark: 1241, 1228
SIM login screen changed - now OK
Logon screen clock - now OK
Tasker OK
Keyb: Using Swiftkey, but also stock keyb with swype (Danish) working here.
As I see it - everything OK.
Thanks!
Thanks a lot for your work, pawitp! :good:

[ROM][Official][4.2.2] CyanogenMod 10.1 Nightlies for the Int. Optimus G (e975)

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.
*/
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into our repositories between builds, and can be found at any time in Settings (About Phone -> CyanogenMod Updates -> [ select the update ])
Instructions:
First time flashing CyanogenMod 10.1 your device, or coming from another ROM?
Download the zip(s).
Optional: adb backup
Unlock the device, by running Team Codefire's FreeGee app
Perform a NANDroid backup of your current ROM.
Factory-reset your device from recovery (required when coming from stock or any other ROM that isn't CM!).
Flash CyanogenMod.
Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package.

GENERAL COMMENT AND REQUEST:
We ask all the regular contributors here to please answer the "xxx is broken" or "yyy force closes" statements without an attached logcat with something like "LOGCAT or it didn't happen"
Feel free to be creative but DO NOT respond with wipe cache/clear data or any other attempted solution before the reporting user has taken the trouble to actually try to help solve the problem (e.g. by attaching a logcat, detailed steps to reproduce etc.).
Just clearing data etc. may in fact cause us to never find the bug that caused the issue and just makes for lazy users.
The CyanogenMod team would like to thank everyone involved in helping with testing, coding, debugging & documenting! Enjoy!
Nice to receive formal recognition...let the games begin
Been using this, from the start.
Its nice to see u here, in the OG section

No idea. The only change listings we do are the ones you get in the updater, bbq-log isn't affiliated with CM.

It means get.cm was unavailable when that build ran, and the buildbot failed to compare with the previous one (so it assumed it was the first)

Yes there will be change in BBQLog, we are working on the biggest update up to now.
I added E975 to changelog until we get the new release of bbqlog up.

Very exciteing news!! thx chad and cm-team for supporting this great device!
[email protected] Optimus G
Nice to see CM supporting this device Let the flash's begin
So,chad, this means bbq and cm teams will merge their projects and work together for this device?
At least for me it would be the logical solution.
Take what is best from both and create one uber rom.

I think you misunderstood something.
BBQTeam is not working on porting CM to some device. BBQteam make a lot of tools for android, we also make bbqlog which is a changelog for cyanogenmod.
I, for myself, work on trying to port CM for the optimus G with other individuals. We are not really a team, yet we choose to call our organization TeamLGOG. We are also planning to ask for our work to be merged with CM as soon as we can fix the call bug which is the last issue we have.
I know that,but i was hoping.can't blame for that,can you?
I mean,it would've been great to see the camera and call bug fixed on your rom.if this is the major update, then, hat off my friend

Create the /data/local/userinit.d/ directory, place the attached file in there (unzip it first), and install "Spirit FM Unlocked" from the Play Store. If you're unwilling/unable to pay for it, the author has threads at XDA with test versions, linked from the Play Store's app description. That's it.
Thanks, I'll try. What will it give me?
Just a question before flash this rom..Is battery life good compared to the stock rom?
Thanks in advance
