Guys,
Maybe Im just missing it, but I am looking for the "switch to new tab" option in Chrome for ICS on my Galaxy Nexus.
Gets kind of annoying having to go find the new tab after I open it. Im sure some of you have experienced this problem...
Thanks!
Long press on any of the sides of the screen

Indeed, I was just about to mention that.
Pretty dummy proof, very convenient.

Isn't there a tilt to scroll option in labs for switching tabs?

the next nexus needs an IR blaster. think of all the diabolical fun!
Moved to Q&A.
Thanks for your replies guys.
What I really wanted to find was a way to:
See a link on a webpage, long press it and select "open in new tab", then have Chrome go to that new tab automatically.

Hi,
I made a app called Task Changer that works Ok at gingerbread and cm7. It has an option to root users to go_back and show menu emulating key press.
I have a nexus S and I've put a rom with ICS and that options don't work at this rom launching an exception for a not found class.
I wonder if this error is for this rom or for official release.
If you have a galaxy Nexus rooted, please try this and give me feedback about go_back action.
Thank you all!
Hi Pacosal,
I am using your Task Changer app on my CM7 HP Touchpad.
Its a great app and I would be happy to test it for you. I am getting my Galaxy Nexus on Saturday (in two days) - so once I have rooted it, I will test and let you know.
Cheers

Forgive my ignorance, but within ICS, can't you just switch task very easy with that "window" button (right side button) at the bottom?

Hi pacosal.
I have got my nexus and rooted it and i can confirm that thr go bavk and menu options are not working for me. When i set the swipe to either of these, i am given the option to allow superuser access which obviously i accept. However the swipes then do not actually do anything. I get the message at the top saying what the swipe should have done - however nothing actually happens.
The rest of the app and the other functions all seem to be working great.
Hope this helps :]
I've tried looking thru all the settings and menus?
The stock ICS browser can't be THAT poorly designed can it?
Can anyone please help me find the button to show bookmarks?
Where is it hidden? C'mon Google, bookmarks should be a 1 touch access feature. Why did you bury it?
Hold the back button.

a ha! there it is! thanks!
I wish they would put it on the side thumb shortcut thing.
It is next to the tab button? Not sure because i enabled lab quick control.
If you enabled lab quick control, you cant access bookmark easily. One way to do it is by long press back button then swipe.
Bookmark button has been added to the lab quick control on 4.0.3.
Also if you press the tab button at the top the bookmark button is visible at the top of the tab selection screen.

I want to goto any specified date. I cant find any way to do this besides faffing with swiping again and again. I would expect to be able to long press at the top to get a calendar grid.
Help me please.

Hit the date in the top left corner. It'll drop down a menu, and you can select the "month" view, then hit a specific date...

1. Go to the settings menu, and scroll down to "About phone." Click on it.
2. Scroll down to the bottom again, where you see "Build number."
3. Tap it seven times. After the third tap, you'll see a dialog that says you're four taps away from being a developer.

Interesting that they decided to make dev settings hidden like an easter egg.
probably due to people messing with it and wondering why apps start crashing
Any other hidden settings ?
Very strange, but good to know. Thanks!

Tap it 7 times alternating your thumb and pinky then lock and unlock the screen 7 times followed by dropping the status bar down 7 times while holding the phone upside down.
No seriously it looks like once you enable it, its there for good.

It's not really needed the 7 taps just allow you to see the developer menu again you still have to turn on the adb option like before.

I thought that would enable debugging but I learned that I then have to go to developer options. Shady shady, google!
Somehow I moved my multi window tab and bar to the bottom of my screen and can't figure out how to get it back on the left side. Any ideas?
Open the tab to view the apps then click and hold the tab and you can move to the top bottom left or right

I'd recommend taking a look at CleanROM 3.5...Absolutely the best (stability, battery life, functionality, and ease of installation) ROM I've used. It has MWC (MultiWindowControl) which allows you to add any apps you want to MultiWindow.
