MultiWindow

Well I updated via KIES my Note2 yesterday and got multiwindow. My only problem now is, that it doesn't show up the 2 buttons for Fullsize and window switching, I just can change the size of the 2 windows via the bar in the middle. Anyone know how do I fix this?

well, the multitasking thing you can activate via longpress back button...

Just tap on the grey bar what splits the screens in mutitsking and it comes up again

yeah this is how it works ^^^^
touch the flashbar (seems to be what samsung have named it) or even use it to resize the window slightly and the options to go fullscreen or to flip the screens should come up.

I have the same problem. After hardreset multiwindow does not have option button. Can someone help? I dont want to root but I want this feature back :'(

[Q] Anyway to swap Menu and Back Key?

I use the back key more than the menu key and find it to be quite a stretch when using one-handed.
Anyway to flip the buttons around?

Left handed guy here. Ive been holding phones with my right hand because my left pocket is used for pens. So now when I use the note 2 its perfect since my left hand is free to use the s-pen when I need it

If I use the S Pen, then the phone is in my right hand.

Skip Button Savior and go right to GMD Gesture Control Paid. Works ideally for me.
The lite version lacks custom gestures so you need the paid version.

Will it be possible for a dev to switch the actual buttons though -- I'd rather not add more buttons to the screen.

+1. Is it even worth stepping back from jedi 6.1.2? The only thing I can think of is the better battery life of the stock rom over the custom ones if all we are getting is the multi windows software from this.

I've noticed that there are new ink colors for the pen on the lock screen. Also, it feels like haptic feedback is a bit weaker.
Anyone know if we can customize the toggles in the notification window?

Try under display. I see it on clean ROM, and someone said theyd noticed they were rearranged I bet they included that as well.

Don't see anything under display. Bummer I guess

For some reason the multi view is not working any more.
I got the little tab. . But when I click program like google mail and Chrome the open in full screen. It worked for a few hours but then it stopped. ..

Multi Window works here. Completely stock. Had to manually update it and flash in recovery tho
I would love to be able to force any app into Multi Window tho...

Patching it using ExynosAbuse breaks the camera now, though.

Back Button does not activate multi-window
I am on stock ROM no rooting done at all.
After the update, tried to hold down the back button but will not activate the multi window.
I can only activate it on the notification bar.
Please advise and thank you.

I would make sure under settings that its enabled and if it is then try a reboot and renable the feature as I have two notes one which is stock and works just fine

Weird feature (not in settings)

My brother has this weird feature (he has an S4 too) that my phone doesn't do.
So if you look at the photo below, he's holding down an app on his home screen but what's so different between my s4 and his is that when he tilts his phone left or right it switches to that direction. For an example, he can tilt it to the right to move an app to a home screen that is on the right (like the next page) .
This isn't normal because my friends and my S4 doesn't do this and we can't find the option in the settings

I think that feature its called air move. I think it only works in the TouchWiz launcher.

Standard feature for touchwiz since the galaxy s2 on t-mobile.
You just have to enable the option. Same is you zoom into a picture put a finger on the image and move the phone around you can pan through the image...
Read the manual in the box... something no one ever does.

By tilting? That's not the air move. I don't see the tilt option either. Turning on the pan photos setting doesn't do it.

Seems like it would be a combination of Smart Scroll (allows device tilting to move) and and Air Gesture...but I can't repeat it. Weird....

It's the tilting features, but for the life of me I can't find the setting for it.

That's not it, that's for scrolling thru the browser. I remember the tilting setting was under motions on my s3 along with the zoom on pictures and zoom on the browser. But I don't see it on my s4

Guys, It's not air gestures, air gestures you SWIPE your hand on the sensor, and it's NOT smart scroll. I swear I remember seeing the setting under motions on my s3 but it's not anywhere on my s4

So, do you have any S4 with that function?
I only found the tilt to zoom image setting on Setting --> My device --> Motions and gestures --> Motion --> Tilt --> Zoom.
I cannot find the tilt to switch page. May be it's replaced by air gesture.

Not mines, my brothers, or my friends, but my brother has the feature working. It's not even in the settings, I enabled everything and it didn't work for me

That's weird. I don't see that function anymore in S4.

Pen Window help

Can't figure this out. Everytime I select the pen window function and draw a box on screen I don't have any option to open an app, it just cuts that piece out and I get options on how I want to send it. What the heck am I doing wrong?

I am selecting the pen window. The one on the right when I remove pen and it pops up and looks like a title box with an x in right corner and dashed window, tried doing screen shot but wouldnt take the pop up.

It sounds like you might be holding down the S-Pen button when you're drawing the window. If you are, don't, just draw the window.

I think you are doing a selective screen shot
open up the fan thing and select the one on the far right. That is the window pop up thing
