I'm using a wallpaper app that changes the wallpaper, but its kind of slow changing the picture. I locked one picture by edited the android wallpaper setting in /data/data, but it wont rotate. So I was wondering if I can delete the stock picutres. I cant find them. Is there any way I can delete the pictures or replace them?

never used sensored blizzard rom, but you can either use an app called lcd density for root or change the resolution in the build.prop with root explorer...
How do I do it within the ROM using root explorer

activate root explorer and mount system writeable
go to /system/ scroll to the bottom and choose the build.prop
search for a line which looks like this:
ro.sf.lcd_density=240 ...here you can change the dpi
(example: ro.sf.lcd_density=190) save and reboot = enjoy
Changing density will make some apps not work. I've changed mine through explorer.

yes and the market thinks you have a tab (compatibility issue)...
Rom toolbox allows you to change pixel density. It has almost all the 'root' tools I use these days.

Notification tray customization (ESP. colour)

Hi! I'd like to change the colour of my notification tray as it looks a bit dull as it is. Can this be done? My device isn't rooted. THANKS!

Until no custom rom you can do nothing.
You can try status bar + app but this is either workaround.

You can change it but it requires a bit of hacking with the ui.

Custom roms have this. I'm using EOS and you can make it any color in the interface system options.

There is probably an image in SystemUI.apk in res/drawable-x-xdpi that is called notification_panel_bg.9.png you can change that then zipalign the apk

Doesn't this still require root access to edit that file? Modifying your OS is part of the benefit of rooting. I don't think there is any other way around it.

Well, this isn't home screen related. It's in the system somewhere. It's like the system wallpaper for settings and stuff. It's just kinda always there on certain system pages. Like when you open an app and it's loading up. This wallpaper is here. The stock is below.

CRAP ! LOL I know someone knows. I am sure it is simple enough. Just gotta know what file to replace in the system . . .
Is it only in the settings? If so you could decompile the settings.apk and see where it is

Not just settings. That was just the easiest way to get a screen shot. It's hard to explain. It's like the "default", background for the system. Whether your in settings or transitioning between apps or whatever. It's there.

Hey thanks for helping me out. I am sure you have alot on your plate other than this. lol. If I can just ask one follow up question or two. When you say "Push to the phone" Should I modify the files in the .zip and then flash that to the phone? And also when you say "swap it out with a .png image of the same size" Is that just as simple as converting the file by changing the extension? or do I need an actual file converter? And then when you say the same size are you reffering to the literal kb or mb size? or the resolution? I hope I am asking these questions clear and concise so there easy to answer. Thanks again. this is an awesome theme. Just a creepy background. lol. The guy pops up every time I do something lol. It's like WTF? lol

Push means use adb.
Same size as in 92x92 or whatever the size of the image was. And rename it to .png

I just had an "ah ha" moment. In order to edit the .apk I would need to hook up to a pc to use a program such as ADB. Got it. I was able to convert another image to a .png image. I have it figured out. I just think it's bit more than I want to do. I am always around my phone but seldom in front of a PC where I could have the necessary tools to modify it, as apparently there isn't an app I can use to edit the framework-res.apk on my phone. Unless I am missing something. I will deal with the creepy guy for now lol.

How to use My color screen?

I know this sounds really stupid, but I need to know how to work this. I'm running Nova Launcher Prime, and I have already downloaded the screen, but how do I get it set up properly? Thanks guys
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
Every one is different and you cannot simply download a screen and apply it. You have to manually configure it based on the files the OP distributes. That can be a photoshop file or a custom clock.
