Touch keys led notification - HTC One X

Is there a app to get the touch keys to light up (blink) for incoming notification? I know there is a led light on top but i got a gray model and its much harder to see led then on a white one. i have a stock rom and i am not for rooting, at least not yet. Thanks

There might be an app in the Play Store that does this, but nothing in settings will light up the capacitative panel for a notification. So try Googling or searching the play store for an app if it exists.

I don't know if it's possible without rooting. At least it's how I was able to do it on my Nexus S.

G2 Strobe while ringing ???

Any dev on here ever considered modifying the TORCH app with the strobe to make the camera LED strobe on incoming call.. or flash every minute or so for a notofication??? Ive done this before with a .pat file for a z3 rizr, but not to familiar with doing something like this for android. Thoughts? Comments??

I think LEDmeknow might be the app that does the flashing on calls, I know I read about it a few months ago.
Tried that app. Kind of cool how it makes the main menu home button back button flash along with the trackpad -- but does NOT make camera LED flash. Thanks for pointing me in the direction of that app.

You are going to want this app: http://db.tt/9m8CqOS
I've been using it for my past 3 phones and it works perfectly on all of them. Including on this one both Froyo and Gingerbread.
NICE thanks you!!!

Notification light

So just got my g2 today and rooted and running cm7 rc4.
I was just wondering if I can change the notification light color around the track pad or at least the change the blinking rate?
Thanks in advance and have a nice day

I don't think you can change the color..at least from what I've seen trying to use utilities that are supposed to..I could be wrong.
As far as the blink rate that I do not know

I'm not sure about the rate, but I'm sure only white is available for color
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
Nope. Only one color there.

The trackpad light only does white, but you can change the blink rate using the LED me know app. Also the notification LED in the earpiece can be used for notifications using LED me know. That one does either green or red-orange.

Not 100% Sure what you looking for, but this app can switch the lights off, I started this thread a few days ago. Hope it helps.

edit: Sorry I see the title properly now. my bad this isn't what you are looking for, I will see what info I can find regarding this.
You can do it with Tasker if u are rooted. Just tested sms notification and it works, however little buggy when screen is off (when u need it lol). It is lit up, and blinks but with a very long interval due to slow update I guess.
Good thing is that it works for any app that uses notifications.

Notification LED

Is there a way to change the notification led when i get a message or missed call? Ive tied light flow and other apps buy nothing works. Btw my OG is reported
SPRINT has a habbit of having their phones built with 2 color LED's red/green. The Nexus has multis but I believe we got left out of the fun with our OG's. Maybe somebody else knows other wise but I have been unsuccesful and am sure this is the case
My HTC Hero had a single (white) color roller ball but other heros built for other companies had the multi color rollers for instance.

I mentioned this same problem earlier. No fix that I can find, though I'd definitely throw some $ towards someone finding a way to make the notification led flash faster, even if it requires root

I got the LED to blink alot.
Rooted with esFileExplorer
Open /system/etc/system.xml
Change notification_light_pulse from 0 to 1.
Save.
Enjoy

I tried that before, didn't seem to work with texts/email notifications. Still around 30 seconds.
Yes it speeds up charging notifications. The rest are still slow

Yea, it would be nice to find a way to speed up the blink frequency without rooting or anything.

Does Verizon or AT&T version have a Notification LED?

A few months ago, a Verizon GS4 Mini leak showed a notification LED: http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/0...-mini-sch-i435-spotted-with-verizon-branding/.
Now that it's out, can anybody confirm whether or not it has a Notification LED? I notice that this FAQ on Samsung's webpage also mentions a Notification LED: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/faq/FAQ00058018/76957.
I helped my mother-in-law buy and set up a Verizon one yesterday. I can confirm that it does indeed have a notification LED.

I just tried it very quickly and it appears to work. I just tested all the different types it sends from the tools menu.
