Is the International HTC One X (tegra 3) compatible with the US T-Mobile Voice and 3G bands?
Can anyone vouch on this?

Yes on voice and texting. No on 3g. Only device that works is one s and maybe att one x with unlock but I think additional things are needed like att note to get data working

Do we have 4g support on our HOX?

No.
Unless you have the American version which is only dual core. Which you can't get atm because of a patent dispute.
The hsdpa+ is more than enough speed in my opinion.

You have to get an Australian or American one x which have lte which is 4G. But they have a dual core snapdragon s4 processor instead of a tegra 3 processor.

And only 16gb
Don't think its launched here in oz yet. Only the tegra based one x. Will be launched 1st by Telstra
Steve
Tegra3 one x the one I have does not support hsdpa+ just Hsdpa
Hi all,
I have a question maybe people who know more than me can answer easy on that.
My wife contract is done and i want to upgrade my own phone.
Wonder if i get the HTC One X at Rogers if it can be unlocked to Telus network or not ?
(mostly about the frequency)
Also is my HTC Amaze 4G (current phone) can also be used on Rogers network.
The plan would be to get a contract at Rogers for a new HTC One X and put it for me on Telus.
Give my HTC Amaze 4G to my wife on Rogers.
Any help would be appreciated
Eric

Well, this is the HTC ONE X (Tegra3) sub forum, not the ONE XL (snapdragon) or US network compatability forum.
So you're in the wrong place on multiple counts.

If your buying a One X from rogers then your getting the dual core One XL. This is the tegra One X so your in the wrong forum. That's all the help we can give because it is a different phone.

Wrong phone. The Rogers One X is actually the One XL. Get out of this forum and never come back because installing anything here on a Rogers One X will give you a very pretty brick.

Tanks
But I can unlock it myself.
Did it many time on many devices. (Tanks to all How-To on XDA)
Question was about compatibility of frequency.
About the actual device on Telus band.
Telus just release the One X, is it the same device?

I don't have it yet.
Shopping for the best one I can put on Telus network.
I have a Amaze 4g and need to stay at Remus cause it's a business phone
I would take a new One X for my wife from another network and keep it for me unlocked for telus.
Giving my Amaze to wife

then get the one we are using, the international htc one x. better support, bigger storage. the telus and rogers xl has only 9.9 gb of user accessible storage, while.we have 25gb. 10gb is not near enough to what people put on phones these days, pics, movies, videos, games music

But this phone doesn't do LTE, so if you want stupid fast downloads, maybe it isn't the best choice.
Also, mainboards for this can't be imported to USA due to frivolous Apple behaviour, so if you want a warranty, maybe this isn't the best choice.
This guy needs simple answers.
Rogers HTC One X (16GB) will work on the Telus network if SIM-Unlocked. LTE
Telus HTC One X (16GB) will work on the Telus network. LTE
AT&T HTC One X (16GB) will work on the Telus network if SIM-Unlocked. LTE
International HTC One X (Quad-core nVidia Tegra 3 processor, 16GB or 32GB) will work on the Telus Network. It comes factory unlocked. NON-LTE
Australian Telstra HTC One X (Dual-core Snapdragon with 32GB) will work on the Telus network if SIM-Unlocked. LTE
Hope that helps.

HTC One X is unbranded and you probably will get the nVidia Tegra 3 quadcore version with 32GB storage.
The AT&T/Rogers and Telstra versions are branded, which means you will receive updates from these carriers and not directly from HTC, like the unbranded version.
Also, these branded versions have lower storage (16GB) and they have Qualcomm (S4 ?) Dualcore chip, but they have LTE, which the Tegra3 version / unbranded version doesn't have.
Thanks you

Question as per the title : So any developers have any idea?

Bump? I know that no one has the Asian variant yet, but any idea if it just "may" be compatible with the roms and firmwares of the US variant? Everything other than the processor seems to be the same..
Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
Haven't got one so can't tell you
More than likely it's going to be the same. Last year the only software differences were CDMA models which have different modem setups for obvious reasons. All GSM US variants, EMEA, ASIA models were all fine with the same software.
