well , I rooted my kindle without any problem , got TWRP running without problem , I'v Installed Glazed ICS and I liked it , then I tried to give AOKP a shot , so I downloaded the last version "5 I think " , then reset to recovery , wipe cache , system , and dalvik .
Installed AOKP without problem , then I saw an option to wipe dalvik "after installation " , so I tried it , and reboted .
Now when I press power Button , I got it flash with green color for 2 times " every time approx 1 second " then it turns off again .
I had it fully charged Before I did anything , and now I dont know what to do , I searched XDA/Google and the only thing I found is this :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1430038
which I really cant understand , I think it is linux related , so if anyone please help my to find the right guide to start with , I dont Know how to search for the problem exactly .
Hold the power button for 1 min power it off then power on go straight to recovery do a full wipe of everything but your sdcard and restore a backup if you made one
---------- Post added at 03:52 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:50 AM ----------
If not you will need to flash another rom or use firekit in that post if you have no access to recovery

thank you for answering , I solved it in other way .
first , I connected it to computer , and got Kindle fire utility running , I'v installed TWRP again - though it is installed perfectly - then my kindle fire reset and twrp boot appeared on screen , and then it went black again with the same problem .
installed it again , this time I pressed power during boot to enter recovery , then I flashed Glazed ICS , and now it it working .
I think I did something wrong with AOKP installation , I need to read the thread again to see what wrong I did

Sounds really like you have no idea what you are doing... not to hurt your feelings... did you wipe and if so what did you wipe? What rom did you flash? Can you access recovery? Is it not a better idea to wait and confess what you did and let someone that knows what they are doing fix the problem? Have you plugged it to the charger?

Then you should do nothing because there is nothing that can be done if you cannot access recovery its very simple do nothing wait till your brother gets home let him fix it you will only make it worse maybe even unrepairable that's my advice

This is what I would do hold the power button down for one minute and plug it to the stock wall charger and leave it alone

I hope too it recover coz this kindle is inportant to my brother coz his gf give this to him i wish its work
okay now that you are trying to charge lets find out some details:
did you get fff installed when you rooted?
this would be either yellow triangle or white kindle blue fire logo....
this is what you use to access recovery... if you have yellow triangle hold power button till it turns orange this will take you to twrp...
if you have white kindle blue fire depress the power button a few times till you get a boot menu select recovery this will take you to twrp...
which ics did you flash?
please try to answer these questions...

Nope i forgot to coz all i want in that time is to download android market so forgot to download fff and i charged it over night still nohing happen do you have another solution
and i installed ics 4.1 pls help me the pooch im willing to pay someone who can fix this coz my brother will going home soon
You don't have to pay me or anyone else for that matter...
Here's the problem...
You have drained the battery down so low it won't boot..you have no bootloader that gives you easy access to recovery...you can't access recovery...it will not power on...you have a broken system(very likely) .....
All those things against you we need to find something that is for you...
When you hold the power button down 1 min then try to power it on what happens?
When you plug it into the computer how does it show up in device manager?
Telling me that you flashed ics really means nothing to me cuz there are many ics you need to be specific about things and my questions need solid answers or no one can provide you with any solid advice...
What is your native language?
---------- Post added at 03:09 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:06 PM ----------

Well, gone and done it now, and reading all the other "I've been stupid" threads deosn't sem to work ..
I'm very new to this rooting/rom setup, but things were going so well... I Rooted, and was trying various ROM's to see which one I liked best .. done about 10 and thought I had it all sussed ....
A couple wouldn't work but I just restored to the nandroid backup and tried a different one ... now .. at don't know how/when but the nandriod backup simply dissapeared at some point. Not to worry thought I ... I'll restore the RUU, get it back to as near "stock" as I can, then make another nandroid.
So I used the RUU listed here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=695667 for the UK GSM Vodafone ... it ran, it siad it was complete, and it rebooted the phone.......
All I now get is a black screen with 2 white bars down the side ....
If I force it to the "revolutionary" boot (vol + power) I get the normal screen , but if I go to "Hboot/recovery" instead of the blue on black set of menus I get a flash of the white HTC screen with a random black line across iot followed by the same black screen with 2 white stripes ..
I cannot seem to get access to anything but the raw boot menu of revolutionary .....
I've tried running the RUU 3 times, it runs the same each time .. I can watch the progress on the phone screen, it all sems quite happy until it reboots
Have I bricked it ???
or am I using the wrong RUU ?? if so, where do I get the "right" one please ?
Try manual downgrade. The file name will be shown once u hit bootloader P***IMG.zip. copy the file on the root of the sdcard and reload bootloader. Since it does not boot you will have to take sdcard out and use a reader to copy file from PC to root of sdcard.
Once copied place sdcard into phone and reboot bootloader. There will a bar on top right corner accessing the P***IMG.zip file. What it is doing is installing the stock rom. PM me with questions

Get the PD98IMG.zip from above link.
Sorted
Many thanks for the quick reply ... unfortunately I couldn't get your method to work, as I could not get access to the SD card in anyway, from the phone ... normal boot or via recovery ... but I sat and thought .. and wondered ..... it was almost as if the phone was booting and hanging looking for an OS ... so "in for a penny" .... I downloaded and ran a different RUU ...
RUU_Bravo_Froyo_HTC_WWE_2.29.405.5_Radio_32.49.00.32U_5.11.05.27_release_159811 as it looked like it had an OS - Froyo and a much newer radio ......
This ran and worked !!! Phone worked, access to USB debugging switch, and I reinstalled the recovery software (Revolution) ... I can now boot to the recovery "blue writing" type screen. Nandroid backup made ... (phew) and back to installing a custom ROM ....
Not bricked as suspected .. but have I learned something ... yup ... all files on SD card now backed up onto PC ..including nandroid !!
Regards and thanks

*****..:How to Install ClockWorkMod (CWM) on the Huawei Fusion 2:..*****
_________________________________________________________
Step 1: Download the CWM Recovery Tools File from here! Huawei Fusion 2 CWM Installation Tools
Step 2: Put your Huawei Fusion 2 into fastboot mode. (remember from the walkthrough?)
(Step 2 Continued.. Turn off the phone, once off hold down volume down and the power button simultaneously for 20 SECONDS, you will then see the phone freeze at the AT&T logo.. GOOD this is fastboot!)
Step 3: Open up the CWM Recovery Tools File, and run the "instalador.bat" now plug in your phone, and wait for your computer to recognize it.
Step 4: Once the computer has recognized the phone in fastboot, and you have instalador.bat running, hit the spacebar. It should say something about sending the recovery image (in spanish sorry) if you get stuck on waiting device the computer hasn't recognized the phone. Unplug and replug, now instalador should run. If not the phone isn't in fastboot, so unplug the phone, and take out the battery and go back to step 2 to get into fastboot!
Step 5: Wait for the phone to reboot... Once it does turn it off! (we want to check that CWM is installed..)
Step 6: Now that the phone is off simply hold down the volume UP (not down as in fastboot procedure) while pressing the power button simultaneously, DO NOT STOP HOLDING POWER AND VOLUME UP UNTIL YOUR DEVICE ENTERS RECOVERY MODE!!! (you will know your in recovery mode because you will see a nice fancy top hat with some gears in the middle.. if you successfully installed CWM... if not you will see an android guy and some options like reboot phone, wipe data.. similar options are found in CWM but with much more possibilities of customization unlike the stock recovery... YAY! CWM!

Download the Patch from this link and then boot into stock recovery and flash it [only if u r on full stock ROM]
How to go into stock recovery ?
Switch off your phone - Press Power button Volume Up simultaneously - Select Recovery mode [VOLUME_UP to select.VOLUME_DOWN is OK] - Wait for Device logo and then a Dead Android with Test "No Command" - Now hold Power then tap Volume up (in that order only) and leave it. - Congratulation! You are now in the stock recovery

Welcome
TWRP for U Play
WARNING: SOME USERS ARE EXPERIENCING BOOTLOOP AFTER OTA UPDATING WITH TWRP.
DO NOT FLASH THIS RECOVERY INSTEAD USE FOR TEMPORARY BOOT IF YOU WANT OTA UPDATE
For direct booting without installation use
"fastboot boot twrp-3.1.1-0-alpine.img" in the bootloader menu (white screen )
If you want permanent installation follow these steps
NOTE: Please Check the partition table for your model and flash recovery to that block,
using wrong block can brick your device
use this command in terminal emulator or adb to check partition table
Code:
cat proc/emmc
for me its mmcblk0p39
Boot twrp from bootloader
Code:
fastboot boot twrp-3.1.1-0-alpine.img
now that your booted into twrp open adb and use these commands
Push Recovery Image to phone
Code:
adb push twrp-3.1.1-0-alpine.img /data/local/tmp
Set permission for recovery image
Code:
adb shell chmod 777 /data/local/tmp/twrp-3.1.1-0-alpine.img
Backup Current Recovery Image (in case you want to go back or failed)
Code:
adb shell dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p39 of=/sdcard/backup.img
Copy recovery to block
Code:
adb shell dd if=/data/local/tmp/twrp-3.1.1-0-alpine.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p39

yes i have used it however you need to have s off to install it. Else you can just boot it temporary ( fastboot boot )
OTA updates might crash the system

Thanks for that, how do you recover after OTA crashes the system? I wish I'd known, I'm trying to see if I leave it off for about 72 hours if it will switch back on as advised in another forum. How do you get S-OFF on HTC U Play? I've only managed to unlock bootloader

I've tried all of that I'm afraid as soon as it gets a bit of power the cycle happens and the PC doesn't have time to recognize the device before it reboots, it doesn't respond to the power key or any combination of key pressing, just keeps on in the boot loop. From what I've learned I'm assuming the problem is that 52MB TWRP image, it doesn't work on this phone, the update will be trying to boot the phone into recovery but because the recovery doesn't work it creates a bootloop..so far it's been 48hrs, will try switch it back on on monday as suggested here https://forum.xda-developers.com/an...g-failures-t3596427/post74189767#post74189767 . Is there a possibility that comes out a working version.?

Hi, did you have any luck? I'm stuck in the same boot loop.. I even took off the case and removed the black battery cable over night but still same boot loop, did running down battery help?
Hi, don't dismantle it or any of that other stuff suggested above, let it bootloop til the battery is flat, leave it, do not charge it or do anything to it for 11+ days, then charge it and it will switch back on, no problem, you'll have your phone back.
Ok thanks, it's been about 5 days off so far from dying from the boot loop, I'll give it another 10 days before charging it and see how it goes..
Thanks again for your response..
