Hi...i've try too many kernels (with arconium ics4 rom) and finally chose xarc kernel for ist usb-otg support and good battery life...
But there is a problem...hdmi doesnt work! I also saw this problem in xarc kernel toppic, and no way to solve...meanwhile, Mr sirkay-the developer of xarc kernel- dont update it anymore...
Has anyone a way to fix this problem? I will beg all developers to show me how to fix it!! I like xarc kernel so much! ( for many reasons) .And dont want to use another kernel...thanks...

try going back to the stock kernel and back to xarc, if the problem still persists you will probably have to use another kernel
Go for KTG ANZU KERNEL 1.3 .

Thank u, but ktg anzu dont support usb-otg...

Thank you..

Acronium 7.1
Its the best ROM I have used for ARC, I have ARC not ARC S, still its smooth and best GB ROM
But which one?
I guess he wants to know the name of the ROM

i am using Acronium 7.1 , Battery drains very quickly,
I use data 2G all time.
Same here...now using arconium 7.2 w/ doomkernel v19 baseband 58...drains batt quickly T_T
I tried them all,ics beta,team,arconium,miui etc.
Stock rom .62 with root/removed bloatware/doom v19 is still for me the best.
A bit undervolting and stockspeeds [ 1.4 Ghz Arc s ]
All other roms draining with 3g.
No issues with wathever, good batterylife etc etc.
I'm using the ROM of SE.Tweaked (v1.0), works fine and smooth. No issues and good battery life, much better than the original rom.

Arconium 7.2 is simply a beautiful rom for arc/arc s.
For the people with battery problem..flash the stock .283 kernel along with .36/.64 baseband.
With this config,i need to charge my phone for once in two days [full charge]
I alsoi have superchargerV6 and link2sd for lag-free performance and free internal memory
Disadvantages:
This kernel doesnt support overclocking/undervolting and many other features which doomkernel possesses
I think there's a DooMKernel on .283

Yes it does.. v11
But i haven't tried that.
Seconded stock with doomkernel is best for me. Don’t see any differences between stock, arconium or se tweaked so dont see the point of them. As for the other roms something always seems to be broken or other problems such as battery drain issues and other bugs.

Hey there people just a quick poll, what's the best kernel and why?
Doomkernel: Fast & Stable, overclockable, smooth and cwm integrated. I love this kernel <3 try it!
doomkernel for beautiful boot up logo
We should make a petition to have a new stock updated kernel to ICS!
yes .u should do that..! for me :-
1. Doomkernel
2.Arcknight Kernel.
Stock 2.6.32.9 old outdated kernel really sucks.!
DooMKernel v18 !
I gotta say sirkays xarc kernels are superb.
For the moment I use Sirkays XArc but as soon as there's a new version of DooMKernel I will probably change to this one.. DooMLoRDs Kernel for Gingerbread was great
Does ArcKnight-Kernel support ZRAM?!
I dont think so, I cant find anything about it in the changelogs.
Doomkernel the best

Sirkey kernel v2 for ICS...works good
I've tried stock, doomlord, arcknight and sirkay's... in many versions and with different roms, currently i'm on arcknight 2.2 and loving it...

I'm on ArcKnight RC3.0. Both DooMKernel and Xarc keep giving me random reboots.
Hope when DooMLorD updates his kernel the random reboots are gone.

hey guys where can I get doomlord kernel for ICS. His thread says discontinued. But i need it. Arcknight is garbage so need doomlord's. Thanks!
I have lt15i arcknight.3.5.1 oc and JS 6.2.
When JellySandwich.7.0 released my kernel wasnt there on the topic. Is it safe flash cwm 7.0 for current settings?
Also advanced stock kernel safe for lt15i or maybe sirkay's ¿
Sent from my LT15 using xda app-developers app
If you want to test flash the latest kernel. Get into cwm check if it works or not. (Do backup if you want)
If NOT, just flash the working kernel. All the best. :good:
Hello, i've Flashed Advanced Stock kernel .587 on my Arc, then installed Sparta Charge ROM and tried to OC my device a little but i cant find a way to do this. I used X-Gamer Rom + DooMKernel before, and i could OC with no problem using CPU master by AnTuTu.
i dont know if there is a problem with the Kernel Itself, or this is just incapable of OC. maybe my LT15i is not compatible with this Kernel, idk.
I tried to find a related post, but i couldnt find it.
Thanks
Find out if your kernel supports OC.
