I had one on my shift & nexus, I've tried using the one modded one for the nexus but it didn't work. Is there one made especially for the Epic?

Yes, it's called factory reset. You can do this in any rom or via CWM/TWRP.
No, I know that. I'm talking about the zip that formats system, data, cache, dalvik cache and everything for you.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using xda app-developers app
Nope. No such zip for our device.

Is it that hard to wipe each one manually while in recovery? The options "are" there to do so.

Did you not notice his previous phones? The UQI (User Quality Index) isn't as high for other phones as it is for the Epic.

Cleared data and nothing. Tried uninstalling updates and nothing either. I get the error for flash, gmail and maps

Clear data in the market then fix permissions in recovery. Then uninstall and reinstall Gmail.

Worse case scenario, reflash the rom. If problem persists it could be a bad zip... Hope it solves your problem.

Basically SDK = Android API Level
It force closes every time I try to load the el26 kernel to flash back to gb. I have used this same kernel multiple times before so I know it isn't that. Anyone?

Works on mine. Which CM9 are you using? Alpha 1 or 2?
Dos
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
Just to be safe I would say redownload el26 or at least check the md5. I would also recomend that you uninstall mobile odin and redownload from Play market. Just my 2 cents. Sounds like either el26 tar was corrupted or a bad install of mobile odin. I would rather be safe than sorry.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2 Beta-5
I've used the el 26 tar probably 10 times to go between the aosp rooms available for our device. I have also redownloaded the app. Idk what the deal is. Would wiping delvik and regular cache work possibly?
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
It could help, but I'm leaning more towards corrupted tar. I would redownload, check md5, clear cache for mobile odin, and reboot.

Are you guys making sure you're using the cache wipe and super wipe scripts, and not doing anything within the recovery menus? Backup and reboot are the only 2 recovery options that should be used.

If you use TWRP recovery you can wipe from recovery. I have been using this recovery for almost 2 weeks. I have flashed both ICS leaks CM9 and AOKP without issues aside from known bugs.

I mean if you flashed v3 then v4 of Jellyverse you flashed the one with the fix. I don't understand why you think there's a original v4 and one with the fix.

That great the team name is getting out there. If you search for touchwizUI.zip there is a flashable zip for the S3 / JB S2 launcher. If you can't find it PM me. I have a copy in my dropbox

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
You spelled your title wrong.. Lol
After you do a factory reset and cache wipe, format system also
But force closes usually come from dalvik cache so make sure to format that as well. Good luck man

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Do you get force closes on the factory google image? If not, then you're doing something terribly wrong I'm afraid.
Try using a simpler ROM with much less crap added in to it - like rasbean jelly. Use his supplied kernel.
1. Wipe factory reset the device (this is will also clear cache and dalvik)
2. Install ROM
3. Install GApps for Android jelly bean
4. Reboot
