What I've done is replaced my silver housing from my white etch and put the black housing on and it is sharp I'll post pics in the am! Hope you all enjoy

this. would rather have the parts and not go through the trouble of setting up another phone. i would have waited til the white became available through Advanced Exchange, but id rather do this. let us know about prices and availability please!

I did this the day the white one came out.. I get so many compliments.. Definitely a great match.. The front bottons at night get that nice halo effect when they light up. I call it pandanizing it.. haha. Btw if you put the zagg shield on the back door it makes it feel much better than the slipper/glossy feel that it has without it.

I've just ordered an urban armor gear case for my galaxy s3 and it should be here sometime today and was wondering if anyone has it and if so is is worth the money? Or if you don't have it and want me to tell you about it when I get it just let me know.

I've had the case for about two weeks, and I have to say that I'm very please with the case. Especially since I got it off of amazon for $20 shipped free. Sturdy, and has a lip so it protects the front of the screen from scratching when face down.

Amazing choice. I've had mine 3 weeks. You're going to love it.

This seems to be the number one complaint. But I've been reading how their customer service is excellent. People are getting replacements no problem.

True! So rather than close the thread we should switch it up into something productive. For example:
· Why you would recommend the UAG
· Why you chose the specific color UAG
· Or post a picture of your S3 in your UAG
This way it doesn't turn into a copy of the other 1, 000+ thread but we still get to see the case owner's participate. Just an idea.

That is common, specially the white version. Their customer service is top notch. They sent me a replacement. Just file a claim form, send pictures of defects/cracks, wait for response. They will send you a code. That goes into the coupon box, at the checkout page. Place order. Total 0.00 with shipping.

Yea... i'm REALLY tempted to order one.... but even with the 10% off coupon code for signing up for their newsletter, it's still $70 with FedEx Ground shipping (which happens to be $12). I don't see how shipping can remotely cost that much. Or at least offer USPS shipping or something for in the US....

why do all the cool cases come out right before the phones about to be outdated... I'm sure we can expect the s4 to be announced early next month.. I wouldn't spend 70 for a case for a phone ill have another 2 months, but I would for one ill have for the next 12...

Not planning to get rid of my GS3...Some people have a 2 year plan.

Love the look of that thing. I will definitely look into getting it if there is a sale.
And the GS3 will not go out of date anytime soon. Development will continue for quit some time with how large of a user-base it has

I love the mentality that if a new phone comes out the previous version is immediately outdated. I'm pretty sure I'll have my s3 for at least another year and a half if not longer, not everybody jumps on the "brand new phone" bandwagon.
I like this version a lot better than the first release but I'm still holding out to see what lifeproof's s3 case looks like.

That is way too expensive, plenty of good cases for less than $20. CNET just did a review on about 20 or so good cheap cases for the S3.

These people must be on crack if they think I'm paying $70 for a case. Yet most consumers need to learn how not to be zombie/robot ready and willing to pay $70 for some recycled aluminum and plastic! Yeah I know some R&D on a computer that took too long as to make sure the designers and "engineers" get payed by the hour.

got it now they send a panel to put in the case to test it .

I wonder if anything not from factory would jeopardize the seal. Like the zerolemon 2300mah batt or an aftermarket back cover. Since the ZL adds a slight bump the the back of the phone.

That looks way better than I thought it would, much nicer than the fake eBay cases. It looks like they took the front off a seidio obex, and the back looks really cool. Wish the picture had a white phone in it. This might be enough to get me to sell my obex.

Looks a bit big - and I am not sure about a case that costs so much. I have a Vertex case and it seems to do the trick - though I do tend to avoid taking dips in water.

how would this deal with heat issues. since no air goes in and out if ones phone overheats and heat does not escape . would it mean its your screwed?

Well we all said that the Galaxy S4 would be out before this got out...
So that just goes to show that all of the Lifeproof cases on eBay are complete nonsense so far.
The interesting thing is that OtterBox owns Lifeproof. Yes folks who think I've lost my mind, they acquired them a few month ago. Press Release here.
For people that knew that, oh well...

They use the same design for their iPad cases.
They've also released a new iPhone 5 case on this design.

I'm wondering if all those Chinese cases were prototypes that got "taken" from the assembly line or they just released them since they have an actual case out now. The knockoffs had "patent pending" on them.

Or, more likely, someone got hold of the molds, or, there were a few 'after hours' production runs made at the factory.
Not unusual at all in the toy molding business, so I don't think that this would be any different.

The knockoffs look like the iPhone LifeProof. The real LifeProof is the nuud or however you spell it which is different and has no built in screen protector.

I'll get in on this. I am in Limbo myself for this waiting to see what to do. I just ordered a back up battery, and am worried about getting a case that is too hard to take on and off (not that I will necessarily be swapping them out all the time just when needed). But also waiting for a nice battery case, or ZeroLemon to come out with their battery. So I might just pick up a $15/$20 case on Amazon to hold me over. Interested what cases other people have currently and how they like it?

White! Since I got the white phone.... it already shipped this morning....coming from Dallas, TX... Can't beat that...10 bucks!

I kinda like the naked feel of the note 4 BUT I had my note 3 in a sweet thin tpu plastic case which worked very well. I'm sure a case purchase is just around the corner. I'm picky and want to keep it thin.

I paid $60 for it. Considering what the phone costs new I feel that it's more than reasonable for protection and piece of mind.

my otterbox commuter gets here tomorrow. $50 bucks. can't really *****.
