I did this the day the white one came out.. I get so many compliments.. Definitely a great match.. The front bottons at night get that nice halo effect when they light up. I call it pandanizing it.. haha. Btw if you put the zagg shield on the back door it makes it feel much better than the slipper/glossy feel that it has without it.

but yeah, the commuter for this phone is awesome. screen protector sucks, too small due to curved edge i bet, but really though, its TOO small.

but ya I figured this would happen as soon as I purchased the blue one, "I bet the black one will be a month away, oh well" lets see how many people all of a sudden have a flaw in their screen or a creek they are super annoyed with.
unless the black one is different in some way, who cares. The blue one is cooler and much more unique. Everybody has either a Black or White phone these days, and white is quickly becoming the color of choice.... I like my "Steel Blue"....

Thanks! I am using Rust-Oleum primer, paint, and clear. Just remember to always use the same brand primer, paint, and clear, I tried to use a different brand of clear and it ruined the finish.

Its going to get finished, I just got set back a little. The paint is currently drying and I should be able to get the clear on it in a few hours. Here is what happened to it, if you look at the bottom you can see the finish looks terrible.

Doesn't it just take like 10 minutes to replace that part? Because if it's not very difficult and time consuming, I'd probably buy a painted one from you.

Its like 6 screws and then it just pops off in one piece. I will paint one for you, but I am going to have to figure out if the clear I bought is tough enough. if its not, I'm going to have to figure out something else. I will have finished pictures up tonight or tomorrow. I love how it looks so far, wayyy better than the stock look IMO.

Spray them with DuraCoat and it will hold up to just about anything.

Sorry, I haven't had a chance to replace the digitizer yet, the paint is done. When I grab a new digitizer I will throw up some pictures.

I'm asking a legitimate question and people decide to troll instead. Maybe it's a different name, or some foreign country might sell it so it wouldn't show their results or translate the name wrong.
Plus, they have it for the other s2 variant so maybe it could also be for ours.

my goodness..those flip cases are ugly as hell.. how can there be NO slim nice looking flip case for T989?? Very strange and disappointed.
Sadly our phone isn't that famous for Samsung to be making the thin flip cases for the S3/S4 and Note, etc

Maybe we can gather more people and request a flip case from Nillkin or something. I like their design and not too expensive as well, and they make flip cases for a lot of phones, but not T989..
There are some leather ones on Amazon, too.

Link Pleaes? Is it only Amazon.com and not .ca ? Amazon.ca sucks. always lacking behind .com. and does it look nice and is it slim?
