Is there a way to manually add an app to super user whitelist that doesn't normally request su permissions? Trying to get elixir 2 Widgets to have elevated privileges without the admin add on or pushing it to system apps (gets erased every time I flash a new cwm9 nightly). Thanks for suggestions!

Some apps options force closes after clicking on them any script fixes that can help fix my shell commands to make all my apps work properly.
Try booting into recovery and fix permissions.
I Did that but my app still keeps me from using some options in my apps I think it is because I don't have a proper shell script to interact with my apps

had the same problem with File Manager (CM File Manager). it was not prompting for root access, said it could not get root permission so would switch to safe mode, then crashes.
wiping superuser cache did not change anything.
the procedure from this post worked for me, but even though it runs now, it does not allow the root access mode to be checked in settings.
i have been using Ghost Commander since GB, and it has root access no problems

it grants the permissions to some applications which require it over the default sony stock framework
grants permission for some applications to run it's purpose which requires root access
I am on rooted stock. Ever since a recent app update, I am getting a message that titanium no longer has root access. My other apps requiring root are not affected. My superuser is SU.

Go to super user and change titanium to grant globally...or delete entry from su and reopen titanium

Hmm...I went into SU to do this, and it requested updated binary, which I did. Then I went into titanium backup and it was okay without me making any additional changes.
I can't get past this issue for the life of me ...it's the only rom I like a lot and I can't get past the Samsung account sign in on the set up page after flashing
I've even reset my Samsung password twice and tried the temporary one .
Invalid password or to many attempts
Why is this the only rom that forces to sign on to Samsung account after flashing , there is no way around it or is there ?

Open the hyper drive zip folder go to system then priv-app scroll down to Samsungservice2_k.apk and delete that then flash rom. Now you can bypass the Samsung sign in.Happy flashing

What is the reasoning behind this though? Never seen any rom ever block people up with the sign in page .

Long pressing the app in root browser doesn't open a delete option it doesn't open an option at all infact regardless how long i press on the apk you told me to delete. IF i quick press the apk it says open or extract why can't I delete it within priv-app .I tried root browser and rom toolbox. With granted root permission should be able to delete any apk file anywhere within the system
