Hi guys, I found out that our phone have this tv tuner tdmb in it but does anyone know how to use it? Is there and app we can download to use ?

I, erm, think you have bad info that actually describes our Korean sister phones. The P930 would have no reason to come equipped with a South Korean TV tuner since DMB is unavailable in the US due to frequency allocation and only in trials in Canada.
Oh i see...well my phone is from bell in canada but i am using it on tmobile in the us

I also have a vega r3 from south Korea and reside in Vietnam. I have the same enquiry..... are you aware of an android app that can be used on the phone?
Thanks

You should be good. I went to the UK and Singapore with an unlocked Nexus One and it worked great. Just got my unlock code for my T989 as I have a trip to Sweden in 2 weeks. I used Giff-Gaff in the UK and Starhub in Singapore. Study the carriers frequencies before you go and buy a pre-paid sim and you will be good to go.

This phone is not pentaband which means it isn't guaranteed to work on 3g for all carriers. It does have 4 of all 5 bands, the only one you're missing is 900mhz so depending on where in Europe you're going you'll have 3g. You'll have to check the specific carrier you plan on using and as long as they support one of the bands, you'll be fine. (meaning they don't only use the 900 bands for 3g)
This will help. Still trying to find the site I used that told the carriers frequencies.

Perhaps here ? (from the old "gsmworld" site...I see they've changed a bit over the years)
Hey guys,
I`m from Brazil and I`m spending some days in Victoria - BC. I want to buy a galaxy note 2 but I found only locked Galaxy Notes 2 with carrier. If I buy one is it going to work in Brazil? If I change the ROM to the international version or any Brazilian version is it going to be unlocked? The lte version works with gsm sim cards too?
tks all =)
Any ideas?

The Sprint model of this phone has an embedded sim. Meaning it's not removable. So unless you do some modifying of the hardware and most likely the software too, it won't work for you.
I know the international version of the phone has a sim slot as should Tmobile and AT&T.

I have a US sgs3: SGH-I747 that was bought/used on AT&T.
I want to be able to drop in a new SIM when I go to china and Hong Kong, and use the Voice/Data Networks over there. Is there a way to do this? Must I root the device?
Yes you can, but you need to unlock your phone. Im using it in Vietnam right now. Im on vacation.

YES. EXCLUSIVELY TO SOUTH KOREA  Do not expect for 805 version to come abroad...
and no the LTE radios won't work in the US......
Edit - Actually I am not 100% sure the radios won't work in the US. Everything I've read seems to indicate it is only for Korea, but most articles are also focusing on the new LTE-A radio. I haven't seen anything to indicate what other radios are going to be included.
When can we buy one? It will work down here.
The S5 lte-a will work on at&t so I assume the g3 will.

Might need to return this AT&T G3 if this version becomes accessible and has AT&T LTE bands. It's a shame there isn't more information on it

well. this kinda sucks. I just bought the international version less than 1 month ago.
oh well. if It ever came to the local imported market here I will trade. because I do not think this will become the international version any time soon. but who knows.
I will hold out for the 805...we all knew it was coming lol.
801 g3 isnt even out yet here in canada so i can wait awhile longer.

Hello,
I`m trying to buy a G3 32GB Gold for my GF (of course she likes the gold version ) . I live in Romania and there are some offers (cheaper) that specify that it is the American Version... I asked if it's GSM and it is, so what is different about the phone?
How come it's cheaper?.. i`m guessing something has to differ...
Any hints, will be welcome
Thanks!
We have lte and different gsm frequencies
