One little issue with Google music player - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

One little issue with Google music player, see the screenshot...
cm9 music player works fine but with stock music player it's not showing information of the song sometimes... :/
Is this normal on Jelly Bean Preview and does others have same problem..?

I would not think this is normal for JB. I have not personally experienced this before.

Haven't experienced it.

I am not experiencing that problem. Factory reset? Or try a different music player from the Play Store.

Ok, Thanks for your replies. I try to fix it somehow and if I can't fix it then I have to use CM9 music player..

Music app

Well, there's one good thing about the music app besides the built in eq. It's not screwing up album art like the latest player on the nexus s did. Thanks Google for finally fixing that. Now if they can only lick gapless...

If you flashed gapps you can just download a music player from the Play Store

From what I can tell, latest gapps packages are dropping music player so people move over to the Google Play Music app, which I like, but many do not.

I don't think gapps ever had a music player to it.

Pull the one out of CM9. I just flashed AOKP and saw the music player disappear so will be doing this tonight as well.

Jelly bean STOCK video player

Is there any STOCK video player on Gnex 4.1?
Or if there is no stock video player, which one is the best one. I need it only for watching video clips and stuff downloaded fr web, but no movies...
Thanks folx
I thought stock video play was part of stock galaxy apk. I use vplayer on my own devices.
What stock galaxy app? Which one?
Pretty sure he meant gallery. I find going through the native player via gallery I can't play any movies I load on my device.
I personally use mx player, love the swipe controls.

There is a built in video player although the codecs it supports isn't the best. If you need support for many codecs I would suggest either MX player, rock player or dice player.

vlc or mxplayer. i use vlc altough is in beta it works great!

Yeah the gallery "stock" player is very basic, i think it's more designed for playing the videos, you record with your phone cam, nut much more. Alternatives are as mentioned vlc or rock player.
Btw does anyone know a player with support for more than one audio track?

MX Player, not only that, it also let you choose between hardware or software decoding, which is needed for AC3.

Samsung Music Player???

Okay, I absolutely love the native Samsung music player on my Galaxy S III. The sound quality is amazing in my headphones and my car. However, there are some things that need to be improved like downloading album arts, organizing my music by their albums and such. I've tried n7player but it doesn't help out much. I've also tried the tag editing tools and other music players like zplayer, playerpro and other music players in the Google play store and those don't help out much either. Any other solutions?

PowerAMP is my favorite music player on Android, and it can do all the things you're asking for.

I dig Apollo myself
I don't like Apollo... it doesn't pick up my album art.

Vanilla Music
Just Player
I've tried Poweramp in the past, but I think ended up liking DoubleTwist better personally.
For some reason there's something about the stock player and Apollo that bugs me - seems like it just works opposite how I'd expect certain controls to work.
Z Player + Acid Mod = Perfection

Zplayer as well. Apollo is dirt ****, some are fantastic but lack major features.

sorry ,I just study here
I've used Meridian for ages. It looks kinda old these days but it still handles everything nicely, at least for me.
Try N7, its innovative
