I tried that in the Nexus section and users got pissed. It stayed for 2 weeks and I just deleted it. Smh....

yeah, the Evo4G sect has/had one, and it was fun, I thought it brought out a "sense of community" with the ones on every/all day...
mayhaps not enough members here in this sect to warrant one.

Just wanted to say thank you!

I just finished rooting, putting cwm and blu kuban on my phone.
It took me a while to figure out what the heck I was supposed to do and in what order, but I did it!
I just want to thank all you guys here who do all the developing, managing the threads, making the youtube instructional videos and reviews. It really helped a lot! I didn't brick my phone and I look forward to trying out some new stuff after I master Blu Kuban!

The past few post reminded me of a conversation I had with the wife a few yrs back. Went something like this......
:wife: hey can I use the laptop I want to look on Ebay.

Got in an argument with the Wifey a while back, all I heard was "Why don't you just go get on ****ing xpa and do your job you don't even get paid for!"
She knows it's xda, she just says xpa to purposely get under my skin. Smh.....

I had to read my wife this thread. she is always yelling at me because when we sit down at the end of the night to watch tv i am usually just constantly messing with my phone. she is always complaining that i am not being with her and talking with her as a result. i dont know what to tell her but she felt better and thought it was funny that she is not the only one. not to mention i have an hp touchpad running cm9 nighlies so if its not my phone its that. i am sure there are a lot more of us out there.

Nope. Just my way of somehow contributing and giving back to the community. I don't dev or even theme, so I try to atleast keep the peace here and keep things tidy. That's all I can do.

Would YOU give your S2 to someone you didn't know?

Whitehawkx does not own a T989.
With JB, AOKP is starting fresh, building the code from the ground up. With no member on Team Kang owning a T989, our JB prospects looked dim. You can read what our future would have been like here.
A lot of people talked about doing something. A lot of people talked about donating to a pool for WHX to get another T989. One person did it. You can read about his decision here.
You can read about the result here.
Not only does this radically affect AOKP, this also affects CM and other AOSP variations. All the teams collaborate together on this.
In the end, this isn't about bringing a new version of software to our phones so it can do 1001 things instead of 1000. It's about giving and giving back. Jangst123 and WHX have given to us. Let's give back. Round of applause for these two and every other dev and good person on these forums. It's not all bad

The AOKP decision wasn't a surprise with milestone 6+. I honestly don't know why they would even carry devices they don't have to troubleshooting. It's just common sense to me.

Great to hear. White is a great Dev and will do something awesome, I'm sure of it.

Fair enough, but I was really just answering the thread topic, and didn't find the relevance to the content in post. I'm just saying that I'd probably not give my S2 away. Unless I had another phone I could use ....

Regardless I've never HAD to pay for any Rom I've flashed. Should there be a limit for how many phones are donated to any dev? Developers provide a free service in their free time.... for all us addicted flashaholics.

4chan and anonymous aren't mercenaries for hire or a personal army to troll douche bags. Best we can do is let the CM team handle the legal aspects and try and find a way, legally, to help them get their site back or setup a new one for them with a diff domain.

Hello one and all... I just wanted to say thank you to the lot of you. This has been the greatest device community I have seen here on XDA and truly symbolizes the spirit of what open source is all about. Though i love my dinc2, I have moved on to a Gnex. I swear i will never again get a non-nexus phone. Thank you Verizon for being such douches. Anyway, I will still be using my dinc2 for when I go over seas, so I'll be trolling this forum and offering any help I can regardless.

Yea I'm pretty much done with s3 forums. They are major assholes to everyone, its just ridiculous how a large community are pure d*cks to one another. The Dinc2 community is by far the best.
