Here is my version of a custom status bar with more color on the icons and larger battery icons with 1% increments.
I did not create the icons got them from the following threads:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1723417
and can't remember where i got the battery icons from but thanks to who ever it was.
Icons Changed:
All battery with varying colors and percent, including charging battery icons.
Silent/Ringer icon now has red line through it.
Bluetooth icons are now purple.
Wifi icons start and red with 1 bar, then 2 bars is blue the purple for 3 and 4.
Vibrate icon is purple.
New image/notify icon is blue.
Eye icon is multi color.
Airplane icon is changed.
Alarm icon is changed/multi color.
Have not yet been able to change the signal icons but will keep trying.
NOTE: this is based on an AT&T stock ucalm rom. I tried modifying someone else Tmobile rom but it screws up the 4g icon and only 3g comes up.
I therefore, had to bite the bullet and decompile the stock AT&T rom with apk manager and make the changes myself rather than the quick and dirty just copy in new icons.
Consequently, if you use this on ANOTHER CARRIER most likely your 3g/4g icons will not work correctly.
Use at your own risk, but make a backup first with cwm backup. I also recommend you manually copy a backup of SystemUI.apk and SystemUI.odex toveithet SD of external SD, so you can manually restore those two files if need be.
There are two versions below, first is the .apk by itself that you can copy into system/app and change permissions to match all other .apk's (rw r r ) and reboot to recovery and clear cache and dalvik cache and reboot.
I did this with root-explorer.
Second method,
is to flash the cwm .zip, also clear cache and dalvik cache (b4 installing patch) and reboot.
You need to be rooted to use these.
Here are some pictures to determine if you even want to use them:

To Do/Working on:
1. transparent status bar
2. getting the signal icons to also have color.
Anyone try this any issues.

thank you work perfect..... can you make differe color beside purple? such as blue and red or green?
I can make blue or red no green avail. Since I didn't create the icons but the colors are meant to show signal strength at least for the wifi.?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2
Why wouldn't you make it for the T- Mobile SGS3? Some people are shooting selfish...
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda premium
Because I need your framework-Res and systemui first and I don't have those since I dont have that phone. Also I wouldn't be able to test it. But can make a version if someone posts the files.
Some people are just rude.

Sorry this is getting a little overboard. I am not starting to do 8 million different battery mods for all diff versions of the phones. If you don't like my batteries you will have to find someone else's mod. I basically just did it for myself and thought I'd share. Especially since all other 1% battery mods seem to gave started with T-Mobile or sprint which screw up the 4g and 3g etc symbols in our phones which are obviously different in our roms. If you want to change a few icons and batteries get 7 zip, it is very reasy to swap .PNG or icons yousrself using it. Just open up two diff system ui's with it and drag and drop the different icons.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2
Does this work on the custom at&t rom??
Depends if system UI was changed. Keep a backup and try it.

Sent from my HTC One XL using Tapatalk 2
was able to make custom battery icons at 1% and charging, changed the color on the data connection up/down for wifi, changed the color on the 4G semi-circles when connected, but I did try (unsuccessfully) to change the color on the quick toggles in the notification area, tried to change the wifi and 4G logos, etc, but failed. Any ideas on how to modify those?

Purple theme i made. I take no credit for it except for the time it took to change the icon colors.Credit goes to phoenix6 for his Blue theme.
I actually made this for my self . Its not finished yet. This is my first time doing this kind of thing.
Works with T989 uvlc8: Flash in clockwork , wipe cache and fix permission also to be on the safe side.
Tested in clockwork touch .

Dude that was from before the theme was out and the op was asking questions about where to find and how to change things like the clock color, and dialer buttons. The pull down was distorted and I mentioned it because I did it when I was first learning. I see where out of context that comment could look rude an out of line, but it really was just answering some questions

To do the pull down circle, just decompile the apk. Open with paint.net. use selector square to only modify the circle itself.
Then while decompiled go into the values> colors.XML and replace the color code for the clock with whichever hex code you want for the clock. ( color code picker website will do the trick)
After done with those steps, recompile. Answer the prompted questions yes and yes. Go to "keep" folder and delete resources file and the modified .9 image. Go back to apk manager and push enter. Boom done... and you can bow modify .9s and XML. Now the real fun starts

The clock color code is in systemUI.apk
Res/values/styles.XML
Couple lines down looks like text appearance.statusbarclock. something something.
You edit the hex within that string to #ffXXXXXX the X's being the hex color code.
Not at a computer can't get the exact line name but its obvious when you're in there.
Theme looks good, don't give up on it.

Hi! As most of you probably know, Rascarlo has recently released his new rom, RasBeanJelly. While I really like this rom, I don't really like the blue system icons used in most parts of the software. As such I made some small changes to my liking and I decided to post it here in case anyone else would like to use it. Apart from the normal WhiteMod, I will also be releasing a more themed version called WhiteMod+. This version will incluse more white themed elements of the interface, and more will be added with updates. With regards to updates for the normal WhiteMod I will only be updating it to the latest builds as it's aim is to only remove the blue icons. Due to a number of requests, I will also be making a version for Toro devices. However I will only be making the normal WhiteMod (not +) due to time restrictions.
Mod Features
White Mod
White Notification Bar Power Widget Icons
White Settings System Icons
White Icons in Power Menu
White Mod+
All features of the normal WhiteMod
White Battery
White Signal and WiFi levels
Rest of the statusbar icons themed to white
White Mod++
All features of the normal WhiteMod+
Centre Clock

Probably not necessary, but would like to know what OP thinks... Anyway we could get a 36 DPI nav-bar version?
I am currently abroad so I cannot update atm. However I.will update it to the latest version and make a 36dpi version when I get back. I can't say if it will work on the new version or not however if you try it make sure to make a backup.
I flashed over the latest version and it worked fine, no FCs yet.

any chance for just a 4G icon?
kinda like the rasbean blue
thanks again!
If you want I can make it for you once I arrive back home however its simple to do and you can.do it yourself if you don't wish to wait. Just extract the SystemUI from your Rom using 7zip or winRar, navigate to res/drawable-xhdpi, then find the H icon and rename it to the name the 4G icon has, and vice versa. So in the end you should have renamed icons with each others' names (there should be 2 H icons and 2 4G icons). Finally open the original systemui from the Rom and replace the 4 images you renamed with the ones in the original archive. Hope this helps

So I guess rascarlo made some changes to the SystemUi or framework. Please don't flash this on the new or future versions of the rom. As I'm abroad I cannot download the new version (it will cost me over €100 ). However if anyone could upload the files (SystemUI.apk, Settings.apk, framework-res.apk) from the newer version of the Rom I can easily update it

I flashed the blue one but it just showed up for a couple of minutes and then it went back to my green circle battery that I had before. Any suggestions
Ahh must be a different name of the file. They appear to be carrier specific. I will need to update it with all carrier labels.

I was hoping someone had or could make a set of ATT status bar icons in cyan (Alarm, BT, wireless, mobile. battery, airplane, sim, etc) with vilan theme system so it will not overwrite System UI. I'd be willing to donate $10 to someone who would share the complete set with us. $20 if you could make a complete set where the Mobile data in/out animations worked properly on roms based off of international firmware. As far as i know the international just shows that there is data activity, not whether its in or out. In case you are confused here is the ATT in-out 4g LTE icons.
