Does anyone have the stock S-Voice apk. I installed a ROM that removed it and have been unable to find the original.
If you give me a minute. I'll upload what you need and the instructions.

Quick question, do you have Samsung Apps installed currently?

In case you're still in need of S-Voice.apk.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/8my57j0ix3mbktj/SamsungApps.apk
That is the SamsungApps.apk, it should install like a regular app if you drag into your SD Card.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/kuj4tmdnyptzy0j/SamsungAppsUNA3.apk
This is the SamsungAppsUNA3.apk which will need to be put in /system/app and will need the permissions to be changed to rw--r--r and reboot.
Once those two are properly put on your device, go on the Samsung Apps application and search for S-Voice, and install.
That worked like a charm. Thank you for your assistance !!

As soon as my phone boots, I get the error "unforutnatly messaging has stopped". This has occured since I installed wicked's V.5 ROM. I can receive texts, but outgoing texts just sit there trying to send.
Things I've tried:
When I try to install a new APK,"application not installed"
I downloaded a new secmms.apk I found on the forums, but when I Used system app uninstaller, but it will not install the app. So, I copied the new apk. to the system/app folder and fixed permissions, but still the same problem.
I tried using a 3rd party messaging app, Handcent, but the messages just stay in the outgoing box.
Any help would be appreciated!

This mod really messed up some how.... i cant figure out how to reverse it. I cant delete the file it says to delete as it said deleting file failed. I removed the SD card and it shows my device which is now stuck on sdcard0 and no longer device. When i try to put the card back in my phone i blocks the sdcard0 out and shows i have 2 directories for extsdcard.
these were in the mod post.
""""
How to disable this:
If for some reason you are having trouble, simply delete /system/etc/init.d/11extsd2internalsd.
OR
if you leave your microSD card out during boot (then re-insert it after), your phone will work as normal (internal storage used for app data).

Install a new ROM. It will overwrite your old one and the internal memory and SD card will be corrected.
Did that. Now it says sdcard0 sdcard1 extsdcard

I deleted it from my phone after I installed and decided that I didn't like it.
You'll need a file exploring app. I used Root Explorer. I think Astro File Explorer might do the same thing?
With your file exploring app, navigate to the following file:
/system/etc/init.d/11extsd2internalsd
Delete the file. (11extsd2internalsd)
Once deleted, reboot.

Actually, just saw that you had already tried deleting that file. Make sue you have enabled your file exploring app to be able to read and write, rather than being read only.
If all else fails, I'd PM the member that wrote this mod.
His user name is Zedomax.
Or you can send him a Tweet via Twitter @zedomax

I did say it wont let me....... thats my main issue.
Try contacting zedomax... If anyone can help, it's him. Sorry, wish I had a solution for you,
So I kinda messed up, now I have a couple issues I did an app backup but not a full system backup using the S3 toolkit I found on the forums, rooted using clockworkmod, then installed cyanogenmod. Decided I didn't like it as much, partially because I couldn't get my visual voicemail back and also because of the difficulty I was having with a few of the features (too bad, it ran extremely fast). Anyway, I downloaded the correct stock rom for my device and flashed it, then tried to do recovery of the app backup I made earlier (which worked on cyanogen in reinstalling all my apps, btw)
Here is where issue number one is. Whenever I try to run this backup file in the toolkit I get an error when it sends the backup request to the phone:
"adb: unable to connect for backup"
How do I fix this? I don't want to have to manually reinstall everything, I already have to put my contacts back in manually because not everything is on kies or my t-mobile account
EDIT:
Flash 11 in the play store says it's not available for my device, and when I checked for updates in the system settings it said that my device has been modified to updates are not available
So in the meantime I decided to start reinstalling some of my apps. Logged into google play on my phone and my computer. On my PC I went to the "My apps" section to get to the stuff I had installed previously and reinstall it through there since it's faster than on the phone, only to start recieving errors saying that my device wasn't connected to my account (yes, I checked on my phone to make sure the right google account was connected to the play store) so now it looks like I'll have to do everything on my phone in the longest way possible.
Any way to remedy either situation?
On a side note, I found it kinda strange that after installing the stock rom and re-rooting the device in an attempt to fix some of the access errors I was getting elsewhere, it set my wallpaper back to what it was before I even started any of this.
Turn it into a galaxy nexus by editing build prop.
Or an HTC jewel.
Use titanium backup in the future.
Never restore app data

The title says it all. I flashed an S3 mod from hereand everything works except 1080p video recording. If some one provides me with a flashable zip it would be very nice. There apparently is a link for the stock camera in the link but i tried it and the flashing fails. Help
Oh and also..I really did searched for a flashable zip but couldn't find one...!
If you have a root capable file manager, you can just copy the camera app to the /system/app folder and set the permissions to the same as other apps around it. Then reboot.
You may have to reboot recovery and wipe dalvik cache if it doesn't take.

Ill post a zip for when I jump back on my computer.
But just to explain if you wanted to know this is what you'd do. (You'll need a root file manager such as Root Explorer or Root Browser)
Unzip the mod and inside you will find the app.
Copy that app to /system/app.
Long press the app and select Permissions.
Change them do they match the rest of the apps in the same location
(Permissions should be rw-r--r-- (read/write, read, read)
Reboot

When you tell me to unzip the mod...I find the app. But isn't that the app that I find the one that's modded?

Oh, I thought you were trying to flash the stock unmodified one from the same post.
This is the link to it:

did you try that one already? And is that not the one you copied over using my instructions?

Ok, wait a sec. Thats odd how he did this. There is no camera app in that zip. Apparently the mod backed up the original and this restores it.
Look in /system/app again.
Look for SamsungCamera.apk_JBK-ori and SamsungCamera.odex_JBK-ori
If they are present, delete SamsungCamera.apk and SamsungCamera.odex
Now rename those two I just said to look for. Just remove the "_JBK-ori".
Reboot.
If they are not there, its likely the initial mod flash did not work.
Itll take a few min to make, but Ill post a flashable one just in case.
Here ya go!
Yea dude. I mentioned in the original post that I tried flashing the stock camera from link the but the flashing would fail. I knew there was something wrong with the file because it was like 141 KB. The camera zips and apk's are supposed to be around 3MB. So yea...! Then I thought you were saying to unzip the modded file to get the camera apk and blah blah blah. It was a misunderstanding. Anyways, now...so I flashed your ZIP file and well...I don't see the camera anywhere. In the /system/app I do see SamsungCamera.apk but I also see see SamsungCamera.odex
I am running this ROM just so you know...! Is the .odex file even supposed to be there when I am running a deodexed ROM?
Thanks again bro...!

It may not work if everything but that is deodexed.

Whatever...I guess I can live with 720p video. Thanks a lot for your help anyways...!

I get this error when attempting to edit any photo that I had in my external SD card on latest Paranoid Android.
_Device Information_
Model number : SGH-T999
Android Version : 4.2.2
BaseBand Version : T999UVDLJC
Kernel Version : 3.4.53-cyanogenmod-gf537623
Paranoid Android : 3.69
Build # : pa_d2tmo-userdebug 4.2.2 JDQ39
I have tried reflashing the rom, factory wiping, system wiping, cache wiping, d.cache wiping, internal storage wiping, etc.
The only thing I have not done is wipe the external SD because I don't actually want to lose any information; I'd be willing to do just that if that were to fix it, but I want to know why.
So, has anyone had any success with figuring this out in the past?
I have google-fu'd my brains out, searched this forum and found a post about the then-experimental 4.2 camera's build.prop causing problems which crashes under different circumstances.
Respect
I'm assuming that you mean it works fine on internal storage? If so then it is your sdcard most likely.

I took your suggestion and did two things:
1. Changed the camera folder to internal storage
2. Removed Sdcard and replaced with formatted one
Attempting to edit the pictures taken on the internal still resiulted in the force close, and attempting to edit the pictures in the external restulted in the force close.

I found a solution, and I came back so I can be "that guy"
Step 1: Download http://cdn.androidcentral.com/sites/...leryGoogle.apk
Step 2: Remove the existing Gallery apk from /system/apps
Step 3: Touch the GalleryGoogle.apk you just downloaded and install it.
Step 4: Enjoy.
