ok this is a very early build, my first to release within forums.. Since this is ICS all the fallbacks apply
This build does not have a working 3G / 4G but will work with wifi on either XOOM
YOU MUST YOU MY LATEST GAPPS WITH THIS 01/01/12

this is my own version of gapps, use them with my ROM.. Oh and they should really work with any ICS ROM

Installed Rom and apps no issues.
Couple of things I noticed.
On initial start up, it says it is skipping Wifi setup, then takes you to the Wifi setup screen.
Love the battery icon, but the Network icon is still there, any chance you could remove that ?
I like that you have included a file manager, I keep my backups on the external card. It was a bit of a pain as I had to go to the market to get Es file manager just to get to the External card with the other rooms.
Wallpapers are a nice touch but I find they do not scale correctly ? That's why I have to use Wallpaper Slide show to sort out scaling ?
Have not tried OTG yet, but I feel its an app issue to get that working for large internal drives.

Seems to be a problem with the md5 checksum for the rom. I've downloaded the file on 2 computers and on my Xoom. All three report a checksum of B6C410298E5816E3DE1AB206FC1BFBE5. Not a match. Well, going to assume the one in the OP is incorrect and flash it anyway. It's the old no pain, no gain thing I guess.

Flashed and up and running. Haven't been running it long enough to check everything out but I like what I see so far. Very responsive and running smooth.
Thanks for the ROM kejar. Nice, just as one would expect from you. Only thing I know of so far that could use a little tuning is that md5 sum in the OP. . Thanks again.

Q: Is this a real port of the firmware or just ported apps?
A: This is a real port of Samsung Galaxy S II's leaked ICS firmware.
Q: Some stuff is broken/doesn't work?
A: As stated in the topic this build is still in Alpha stage.
Q: After Installing your ROM I'm getting bootloops/boot issues?
A: Do the following steps:
Take out the battery
Put the battery back in
Get into Recovery
Wipe Everything
Flash my ROM
Done!
Q: I want to make sure nothing of my previous ROM interferes with my new ROM what should i do
A: Completely wipe your internal SD Card or delete any Android related stuff from it and disable any lagfix. Then do a full wipe from ClockworkMod recovery then install the ROM.
Q: I'm coming from a different ROM how can i install this ROM ?
A: Follow the steps below
Disable any lagfixes
Get into the CWM recovery
Wipe Data/factory reset
Wipe Cache
Wipe Dalvik-Cache
Wipe Battery Stats
Wipe Data/factory reset

Its based on Semaphore's ICS kernel.

Notes:
This ROM is based on the OS for the Meizu MX phone.
It was a major undertaking getting it ported over.
I am not 100% sure on what is all 'broken' so please leave feedback so we all can address the issues as they come.

Not Working:
Wimax, Settings.apk option for "Network", Call recording, SoundRecorder.apk force close (Still working on this, call recording uses SoundRecorder.apk)
Issues:
Code:
-Still reverse engineering the nativeCreateShare and nativeMmap methods. Lockscreen won't work correctly until they've been figured out
-Web browser crashing when video played (I believe only HTML5 content) (Will issue a fix for this asap)
-Need to center launcher selected-pane indicator
-Scrolling left in Music.apk when the record is displayed causes force close
-We are using CM9 Camera/Galley - Stock Flyme Camera app has lots of native calls. Going to see if I can port some in from the CM camera so we can use it - I don't have my hopes up though.
Instructions:
Wipe your poopy /data partition before installing.
Install through a safe recovery (EL29 verified working)
Download FlymeOS_SPH-D710_v105_u1.zip (10/3/12)
Enjoy and keep the 420 burning.

Did a fresh install using el26 recovery no boot just Meizu boot, but I have the cwm6 recovery you think it would be safe to flash back to a booting rom to try the process over? Or just use odin and get a rom booting with that fine just a pain, but rather do that than brick my joint.

same here i wiped all im stock on an endless boot loop :cyclops:

Oh for sure I did just used el26 I have direct boot el29 as well just thought el26 would be fine, getting back to a bootable rom and going to try with the direct boot to see if that makes a difference. I don't think it will, but ill give it a try to see.
NOTE: I don't see mention of gapps are they needed for this?

Looking into this. I think you guys may need to use chris newer stuff. After flashing it to get out of the boot loop boot recovery and flash again. (A newer, safer recovery is included in the kernel that is included)

Wow, when I heard about the Meizu MX a few months back, I thought it was pretty badass. Really glad you guys ported this! Will definitely give this a try!

1. Download rom ... Duh! and then Gapps
2. Put rom on SD card
3. Make sure you have latest Gapps on there too
4. Make sure you have recovery installed (The latest Official CWM is recommended... at least 6.0.3.3... look here for latest http://www.clockworkmod.com/rommanager)
5. Factory Wipe/Data Reset, Wipe Cache and Wipe Dalvik Cache, then go to mounts and storage and format system
6. Flash Rom...
7. Some have suggested you have less issues if you let rom boot up before you flash Gapps... I'll leave that up to you
8. Flash Gapps
9. Some like to wipe caches again... If you normally do that, then do it
10. Reboot
11. Enjoy the Rom...

No support init.d? Find that hard to believe.

When i download it says download complete instantly. Something wrong here haha

If you put this file on /system/etc/init.d/ with perms you'll get an initsupport.txt file under /data and see that init.d works.

I'm not sure about the app you mentioned,it push an init.d file named testinitd with only 6 0 0 as perms (?) that attempt to write an initsupport.txt file under /storage/emulated/0/.
I can't really say about perms and the way is named the file,maybe it's ok with only rw- --- --- and no numbers as prefix but from my little tests with my own init scripts I can't get anything written to sdcard either.
Dunno I'm pretty new on this device maybe it's the way sdcard is mounted (its path but probably not as the same script works with script manager) on cm based rom or init.d process is too early for sdcard to be mounted but init.d works.

Watch out, that is exactly how it started for me. And tonight I compiled and flashed HellKat 7 times trying to get stuff cherry-picked and working.

Stock Browser isnt good on any 4.4.x I have seen yet. Accept when they make Chrome the stock :laugh:

Well I am using CM's source for the Browser? err should say OP is, since he is using our Manifest lol

This looks fly af! I'm on my download and flash mission now!

I just put this ROM on my phone and the D2tmo version on my friend's S3. We both love it, but we are having the same issue with the camera. He tried taking a photo, but it froze on him and locked up. I tried changing the pixel size and it froze and locked up. I've seen this happen before with AOSP cameras, but is there a fix for it?

u could try installing this app... it might work.

at least if it freazes to the point u have to reboot that should work. but that wierd. i have the d2att and the camera worked fine... hmmmmm....

op updated to latest build!!!!

Anyone else have issues getting this ROM to boot? I did a clean install from slim kat and every time it hangs on the cyanogen logo.

I had the same issue a few days ago and just give up trying, I did downloaded like three times, I'm on mk3 baseband if that matters

So am I. It has never worked for me. Tried downloading 5 times. MD5 was always correct. Oh well. Maybe that's why there isn't many pages in this thread
