After switching to the JB 4.1 ROM my galaxy nexus won't connect to any mobile networks. Wifi works fine but when I attempt to select a network it says "error while searching for networks." I tried redoing the ROM and it still didn't work. It's not my SIM card because after going back to the factory recovery it connects fine to mobile networks.
Any help would be appreciated.

Same thing happened here. Pretty annoying.
My friend got this too. So he's just rocking 2g for now until it gets fixed

Hi guys
I have problem after rooting DHD with AAHK with gprs/EDGE data and 3G data. GSM works fine, WiFi, GPS also but I cannot turn on data over mobile network. Tried different ROMs, flashing different radio versions, return to stock rooting again and still nothing. Tried to change APN settings, pull off the battery also but no luck. Also I tried with *#*#4636#*#* to switch radio off no luck. Is there any way that I can troubleshoot this to find out what is causing the problem. My radio version is
12.56.60.25U_26.10.04.03_M
Sabsa Prime V8.0 - tried CM7.2, stock, Revolution HD, Jelly Time, Pacman Jelly... no luck

I think the problem is with your APN settings. Something like this happened to me recently and it was because my APNs were messed up. Try this app to save your APNs. Maybe there's some error in what you're manually entering. I see no other reason as to why your mobile data shouldn't work on any ROM, especially if you're getting a signal.

Thanks on your reply. I found that the problem was with my operator, because they disabled the data service for my account. I thought that problem is with my phone but it was on their side. Thanks again

I recently got a galaxy nexus and noticed that the wifi and data radios were not working correctly. The device was already rooted so I decided to unroot the phone and reflash the radios following this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-nexus/general/how-to-return-to-stock-galaxy-nexus-t1626895. After doing this I noticed the same problem and I'm not sure what to do. It seemed everything went fine and looked normal as I was doing it. I'm wondering if there was something I missed. Anyway thanks for the help!
Oh as for the wifi issue. Everytime I connect to a wifi network, I get an authentication error. No I can't access router settings because I'm in college. As for data, well I don't get anything when I put in my sim card.
I have got this annoying issue with my sim card. Currently running cm9 eol and i don't get 3g data internet on this device. I have tried on other phones and 3g works flawless. I have also tried other sim card on galaxy w but im still stuck at 2g. I have tried to check on gingerbread different custom roms and it still doesnt work. I have also updated the baseband to xxlmb. Also tried changing apn. Sim network is Aircel(India)
I downloaded and installed NOBLE Note 7 ROM for a 910F. It installed and booted. Everything worked except the WIFI and Cellular. I Odin the radio from our phone but that didn't help. One of the VZW data fixes got me wifi. It's great rom and very stable.
Is there anyway to get the cellular working on a ROM that was made for a different 910???
Kinda surprised the data fix didnt work, you might have to go into the Mobile Networks settings and change the mode, or maybe even change the access point names.
Hi, I'm having some troubles here with a GT-9192 (Stock ROM 4.2.2), one of my friends brough me his phone which he tried to root (I don't know how or what software did he use to do so) and I think he did something really wrong because now the phone boots as normal but doesn't get any network signal at all. SIM1 doesn't recognize any SIM inserted, SIM2 does but there's no service at all, every time I try to search for a network provider it fails and if I select automatic selection it says "registered on network" but there's no signal at all.
I tried flashing today Bliss 6.0.1 ROM and it flashed nice, booted up and worked as intended yet the device has no network signal. WiFi and bluetooth work nicely.
What can we do to fix this? I did a Nandroid backup of the official Stock ROM on TWRP 3.0.2-1 and I just did a restore. Do you need more info? I'm out of ideas.
