[Q] Are there CM9 nightlies available for Xperia Arc? Can't find them.

I've been looking around for a friend that is running CM 7.2 stable, he's having some issues with blank SMS screens and the ROM locking up, and just for fun I thought it would be cool to see what kind of shape CM9 is in for that phone. So far I've only found some pretty elaborate custom mods with custom kernels and basebands (I don't want to get into this too deep, since it's not my phone), so basically I'm just wondering if there's a CM9 nightly available somewhere that you can try flashing, and if it's not any good there's always the stable variants to go back to.
Any insight appreciated, including recommendations on other mods that might be better than CM for the Xperia Arc.
Fxp are the cm9 team for Sony I'm new in this forum but not new to xda and this forum is a mess just to find anything you just Hatton really look

I actually found the answer, by going to get.cm and clicking my model (maguro, for GSM nexus) there's cm9 nightlies in the list. The nightlies aren't available from the regular CM website though since Nexus isn't supported yet.

CM 10

Hi HOX users,
Not sure whether there is a topic or post related to what I am about to ask.
But what are the differences between all the CM10 roms?
EternyCM10, Alpha versions, endeavoru versions, Domination, IceCold and Pana (this is more the tablet IPAD theme)
There are minor details that are different, if anyone could share what they know??
I mean, are there big differences between all the CM10 that are created? (I appreciate all of them) Coming from Sense base, is there a way to have my contacts with facebook pictures again? (is facebook sync app from Playstore the only solution?)
Thanks !
I use Domination CM 10 and it different from the rest because it use features cherry picked from other CM 10 roms and allows for more customisation. I must point out that this still an original CM 10 mod built and maintained by Owain, credit where credit is due.

The Galaxy Nexus Resource Bible
Hi all!
One of the wonderful things about owning a Nexus is all of the development. However, if you are a new user, or any user for that matter, a forum such as ours can become a bit overwhelming. I intend to cleary and neatly layout all of our CURRENT development in a tidy template for all to enjoy. Below you will find all of the development and guides that are available for our phone in a color coded index with links to the corresponding post. If you are a developer or a member that sees a thread you think should be added or removed to / from the op PLEASE PM ME! Posts within the thread may go unnoticed, and we wouldn't want that to happen.

looks like team bamf is missing under the roms list
and thanks for this list...really appreciate everything being consolidated in one place.
Thank you. I feel much better now knowing I can count that we have 27 ROMs to choose from right now.

Nice job! Thanks for taking time out to put up this thread.
I'm unfortunately stuck under what ROM best suits me now. Either each day or days later I end up switching ROMs and normally a circle of ROMs.
I've tried all the big best ones and just ain't satisfied, well not in a bad way but more or less it gets sluggish or ends up riddled with bugs or something.
JBsourcery, Paranoid Android, CNA many more. Is there a stable decent ROM out there for a music/gamer junkie? If I need a certain I've flashed before is there a certain kernel I need to use?

Last time I ran cm10 official, I got all sorts of issues, cm updater kept force closing, screen flashed constantly at random times and other quirks.
I've ran Cm6 Late to 10 now. Cm is a great developer no doubt, maybe it was just a bad release? Guess I'll retry another cm10 nightlie see how it runs to me.
As far as kernels, I need something with battery life and extra options.

Already needs updating! The problem with these types of threads is that it is a lot of work to keep it current.

Instead of being rude why don't you point it out as asked in the OP?

Didn't mean to be rude. I'm just saying the op would have to go through the forum list daily or at least weekly to keep this up. Great idea, but hard to keep current - and not very useful if its not.

Not really hard, its an old phone most of the development is already done. The only thing new that I see worth adding is aokp build 5

I'd say.. we won't get new life until 4.2 or 5.x. It will happen but until then he is right, I bought this phone during the middle cycle of this phones life. If we had devs interested in porting sense/touchwiz we'd have some new life on our phone until 4.2-5.x.

[q] [rom] paranoidandroid, aokp indroid remics, bio hazard, aokp milestone 6.

Can someone please tell me what is the difference among these ROMS? I'm now on paranoid, it gives us the tablet UI. What about the others? thanks button for the first answer and for the good answer.

[Q] AOKP Vs CM10.1

Hey guys. I love flashing new ROMs but right now I'm a bit confused.
What are the big differences between CM10.1 and AOKP? I know both are based on 4.2 (at least the unofficial AOKP nightlies are).
The main thing I need is stability and battery life. I also really like customizing the LED. Other than that...I'm lost.
Stock ROM.........................................................................................................................................................................................................
just try them out yourself.........................
I have tried them both out.
Once I install a theme and Nova Launcher, I can't tell the difference.
Just compare the feature lists. Or use CNA or PACman which incorporate features from both.
I'd say the CM10.1 & CM10.1 Kangs would be better if you want a stable ROM with frequent flashing (Nightlys) over AOKP , otherwise try Xylon as it has best features cherrypicked from both AOKP , AOSP & CM bases :good: & highly customizable + a good support thread too !!
Paranoid Android is also a better option but the PA is no more a CM base rom (AOSPA base instead) , missing those theming & more CM features .
for a closer to stock UX RasbeanJelly is the best !

I would try this if you have a GSM galaxy nexus. Ive heard great things about speed, stability and it has built in led settings. Great battery life as well.
