As the thread title states. Tried using Wallpapyrus but the boot animation wasn't centered and didn't run very well. Has anyone made it? I'm a big fan of the glowing X!

I was wondering if anyone that creates themes ever thought about creating a Rinzler from Tron Legacy theme....with a custom boot animation of his fight with Flynn's son in disc wars....a black and reddish theme with wallpapers of Rinzler would be sick....even a CLUT theme....but i am leaning more to Rinzler myself....

First of all, credit goes to JakeSiemer aka Jrizzill @ droidforums.
I ported the MIUI bootanimation to fit our screenresolution, the quality might have been damaged but it still looks OK. Might fix it later.
For now the blue and the white version is ready, gonna fix the black one tomorrow.

Thanks QNBT. I love the blue animation. This is the one boot animation which made me to switch from CM7 boot animation (No matter which Rom I have, my boot animation will be CM7 and going forward Blue MIUI)

I have Calkulin's E4GT 2.8.1 with Venum Minimal Black & White Theme.
The Minimal Theme came in 2 versions, Regular and with 13 lockscreen mods.
I tried the 13 lockscreen mods version but like the Regular one better.
The only problem is that with the Regular version, I only get CRT animation for turning the screen off. I used to get CRT animation for both turning the screen on and off with the 13 lockscreen mod version.
I tried installing Calkulin's CRT_on.zip but it only works for turning the screen off.
Anybody have any idea how I could keep the regular version theme and get the CRT animation for turning the screen ON as well?
My set up is perfect otherwise. It just sucks that I have to choose between having the Minimal Black & White "Regular" version and having CRT animation for turning the screen on as well.

Hey jackka, I am having the exact same issue. I have tried flashing the CRT_on.zip and still nope, no CRT on. The only thing it does after the flash is change my battery icon back to green. Wonder whats going on as it seems to work fine for everyone else.
I was hoping there was a mod I could flash on for CRT on and off animation.
But it seems there's only one for CRT off animation and for CRT on animation, you just have to hope the theme or ROM comes with it.
I'm assuming what Calkulin meant by CRT_ON is that it turns ON the "CRT OFF animation." lol
Can't have everything, I guess...
I'll take a look at the zip later to see if I can figure something out

I'm loving Jelly Bean and wanted to make a simple boot animation to celebrate it's awesomeness. This is what I came up with while I was supposed to be working:
*UPDATE* Added a black background version.
Grey Background: JB Nexus Boot Animation
Black Background: JB Black Bootanimation
Just change the filename to bootanimation.zip and drop it in the /data/local directory. As with anything else, I'm not responsible for any breakage your phone may incur by using these files.

Is it compatible with 3.7 inch screen 480x854 res ??
Not sure. The animation is set to use a 720x1280 resolution, but the actual images are only 360x720 (smaller resolution seems to run better) and it's just scaled up when it plays. Theoretically it should work, but I can't say 100%. Unfortunately, I don't have a phone with that resolution to test with.
Very nice. The only thing that I would request is that the back ground be black instead of grey. Other than that a great job.

I'll see what I can do. Not sure how good it'll look with the jelly beans having the black outline though.
Sorry it took so long. Between work, and the little girl teething...I haven't had much time to work on things. I've added a version of this animation with a black background instead of grey. Enjoy!
JB Black Bootanimation
Here is another boot animation I created.
It is Deadpool themed, like my first one.
This time I used a bloody text "Deadpool" and flashed it back and forth with a bloody Deadpool mask.
If you are a fan of the character, you should appreciate the boot animation.
