replacement back cover? - Galaxy S III Accessories

Does anyone sell a replacement back cover for the S3?
Not looking for a case, but just the plastic cover that clips onto the back of the phone.

Not sure which exact model you are referring to but these may help.

You MAY find something at the bottom of this page. They are showing 5 different models here, some with replacement battery covers.

I think the only place you're going to find a replacement is through LG. Sorry, wish I could help. If you put the back cover on and then put a case over it will it be good enough to use for now?

Thanks, that's what I'm doing.. I went to AT&T store and bought a back cover.
Cool! How much was it?
And don't forget, there is an ultimate, universal back cover for any phone: DUCT TAPE.
Just buy a case for your phone and then place your cover on and then the case and everything will stay just on just peachy
It will probably be cheaper than buying the OEM backplate from LG.

And less messy than Duct Tape..ehem ehem...
It was $30 from AT&T store, and it's pretty nice
Is it an aftermarket part or an OEM / LG part? I guess it fits the same right? Is it still textured? The case feels kinda flimsy, I kind of want one as a spare in case anything happens while taking it off and putting it back on.
Kamranwpi was talking about a Nitro case he picked up at the AT&T store that covers the back. He is still waiting for his OEM battery cover he ordered from LG. I work with him , the case is pretty nice though.
I'm thinking about buying a spare Nitro cover and one of the extended life battery covers from the spectrum. I want to cut them up and graft them together so I can use the 3000mAh extended battery. The stock Spectrum battery is the same as our Nitro, but they have an extended battery option. Their cover won't fit ours. We just need a new battery cover that will work!
Edit* I called LG. They are out of stock on the Nitro battery cover and don't know when they will be back in stock. They were $17.xx shipped. I didn't give them my address so where ever you live, that what it'll cost you too.
You can get the Verizon extended battery and cover for the Spectrum online for $49, but they are out of stock too. Damn shame their cover won't fit.
I called to get an update on my order, it's even more 5 weeks, and I placed my order in Jan. 6, 2012

I find myself in a similar situation. Anyone ever have success getting a replacement cover? Who did you get it from? How long did it take? Thanks!!
Guys! I need help on this one! Where can I find an oem back cover for a bell optimus LTE?
Guys...just order a battery regular or extended on ebay...duh!

@stemalo,
OEM batteries don't come with covers which is what this thread is for
However, the suggestion to purchase an extended battery would work because those do come with covers. Might be a solution if people can't find the stock OEM battery cover anywhere.
kamranwpi did get his oem cover from LG btw. It was quite some time ago in late Feb. He has since sold his phone to get a Galaxy Nexus.
I'm just having trouble getting to the right people at lg.

GN Battery Cover

Hello Folks,
I was in a middle of changing the covers and my 2 year old grabbed the Note and before I know it was the floor.
Luckily Note is okay and functional but got some scratches on the battery (back) cover and on the metal portion on the side/edge.
I was wondering if I can get the original battery (back) cover?
Only place I see is on eBay. They say its the original and they are asking $25 for the same.
I see them on Amazon but does not seem they are original.
Anyone know any other place?
Thank you,

Well whaddya know... I knew this picture would come in handy one day (attached below).
I bought a bunch of genuine back covers from eBay from a seller called komazys, and have been buying from him from quite awhile.
As far as I can tell these are the genuine Samsung back covers (it even comes with the protection sticker which teaches you how to snap it into place, same as our out-of-the-box Notes (and with a price tag to match). Yes unfortunately original manufacturer items will always be more expensive than cheaper OEMs, but at least you get the satisfaction of knowing it won't break (or shouldn't anyway) within the life of the product you're using it with.
FYI:
eBay - Black Cover
eBay - White Cover

Anyone with a flip case tried this?

Using the flip case
I notice he is doing it over the bed... can't imagine doing this in the street and looking like a tool when you drop it on the pavement
Used to do something similar with my old phone, the Samsung F480T, with battery-mounted flip cover.
And I'm getting that cover sometime soon. I don't expect I'll be trying that out of windows anytime soon though haha.
Anyone know WHERE to get the Samsung Flip Cover for International Note?
I tried to AT&T version in my local Best Buy store and it doesn't fit my International Note - the clips that attached to the back of the Note doesn't line up.

New Back Cover...

Hey guys,
so I'm planning to buy another back cover (Pebble Blue), but the only one I found is i9300 version back covers of this phone, will this effect NFC in any way? Or is it just a back cover? Don't know, I read a previous thread and they were talking about NFC and battery cover so I didn't really want to buy a new one (Which is not cheap by the way ) and end up having to keep it on the side. Reason why I want a new one is I dropped my phone today, but the back was just scratched at the top corner on the battery cover, and I'm planning to get Ghost Armour soon, so I want a perfect condition before putting it on. Is Ghost Armour worth it? If anyone happens to also find a back case for under $10 please do tell, that would be awesome, but I've had no luck.
This is the wrong section, should be in accessories.
This has been discussed in great length. Here's is one of the many threads.

The NFC is in the battery, not the battery cover. Metal back covers could/will interfere with it.

Swapped my back cover

So.. I haven't seen a thread about this yet, but I've seen few post about the back cover replacement through aliexpress. So I decided to order the white and sandpaper back cover and this is the result. The sandpaper one feels exactly like original one. There are some cosmetic differences though. The cyanogen branding is not on the back of these and NFC does not work. Also, the replacement back does not include the buttons, however they can carefully be removed and put on other backs.
Link Please?

Hi, can I get a link for the replacement back please?
Most of the replacement covers from China do not come with the NFC sticker attached. I'd rather not get those.

So the white back is a direct fit apart from the NFC and buttons. It doesn't need any modifications to make it fit, how is the fit?
Thanks
Does the white one fit onto the international OnePlus One? Could you please provide a link?

It fits. Just search aliexpress. Just get the ones with reviews.
Just for clarification, the white one doesn't have a sandstone feel right??
Very nice, my Silk White back cover should arrive here any day. FYI, you can easily transfer the NFC sticker out of the old back cover into a new one. It just attached with some adhesive that can be loosened up with some heat and then be carefully removed without damaging the cover or the antenna itself.

Hey, can you take several high quality photos of the 1+ logo? I would like to see the quality of the black within the white indent.
I have ordered a white back for mine and I'm going to get something like below done with it.
