[Q] Epic Touch 4G Flashed to Metro Pcs Help

Hey Guys I Need A Little Help please, I Recently had my Sprint Samsung galaxy S2 Flashed over to Metro Pcs. The Guy Who Did it Flashed it Using A Gingerbread rom
Heres My Info
Android version: 2.3.6
Baseband Version S710.10 S.EL29
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.7-SPH-D710.EL29-CL852097
Build Number: GINGERBREAD.EL29
Hardware Version: D710.10
However, I Seen Other People Using ICS On Metro Pcs What Rom Can I Flash That will Not Affect My Settings Since its a sprint Phone On Metro Pcs I Honestly hate gingerbread Please Help Thanks!

Please ask a Mod to move this to the proper location for questions.

[Q] belongs in Q&A. There's a whole sub forum for people to ask questions :beer::silly:
But you can flash any rom. I flashed my phone to virgin Mobile. It won't change any of the settings that effect the carrier. To get working MMS you need to change the apn settings

I am on metro you have to pick a rom after you do so pm me ill help you out flashing a rom will not change any of your metro settings other than apn and oakieville has made flashable zips for gb to jb to cm10 roms so flash whatever you like you can find his zips in development section. HAPPY HOLIDAYS

[Q] Is there a fix for 4.3 custom roms on verizon S3

I took the update 4.3 and took a way to get the 4.3 stock rom, and used Kingo to root my phone.
Curious if there is a way to add custom roms again.
I am running sch-i535 Verizon samsung galaxy s3

And no. This is why you never take OTA updates if you are rooted.

definitely wrong thread but I do believe you can install safestrap recovery and then use that for installing/running custom roms but you're gonna have to go to the right forums for verizon to search and find out...I only know cause I did my friends brand new s4 from Verizon and it's on 4.3 and I rooted it, installed safestrap ONLY to create a backup rom just in case anything went wrong when we cleaned out his bloatware, and on the s4 it can run roms by using safestrap but it's not my phone to mess with so I left it as is for him...rooted, debloated, backed up and running smooth
