i am having an issue of incoming calls not ringing. ive had this issue on several different JB roms. when i do fresh install and/or TDJ cache wipe, the first 2 r 3incoming call rings fine. after that, phone just stops giving incoming ringtone. u can see the incoming call just no ringtone. Ive checked and rechecked sounds r on and volume is up.
and just to add, i only started having this issue since playing with JB roms. never was an issue w/ darkside evo3v8 or AOKP MS6. flashing different radios does not solve the problem either.
currently running [08.08.2012] Hercules JB 4.1.1 CM Nightlies on hercules with DARKSIDE.VENOM 06 CM10 and uvlc8 radio. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Could be cm10 issue, but u wouldn't know cuz I always have my phone on vibrate

Sorry bout the late response and thanks for the feedback. Found out it was an inverted gapps zip I was using that was borking the incoming calls.

I would say hardware issiue im on stock 4.0.4 unrooted abd have the same prob had the same prob when i was on a rooted with the new uvle1.so it could have broke sumthing but idk
Hello I just wanted to know if there is a fix for the out going audio on google talk or google plus hangouts. Incoming and out going video and in coming audio work fine but the person on the other end can't hear me. Is anyone else having this issue.
I'm running AOKP JB 4.1.1

Please let me know if there is a fix out there.
Flashed CM 10 same issue. Found a zip file that offered a fix for a different phone but bit wouldn't install.

I think it is the gapps. I travel out of town and tried video chat tango and didn't work. Tried Google video chat it worked but she couldn't hear me and it's a bit glitchy and I had a small sod and my phone rebooted. On AOKP new nightly. Really wish there was a fix for this.

it's actually CM/AOKP that can't seem to make a 4.2.2 rom that works with gapps at the moment, give them time to sort it out, the apps are fine!
I've tried the gapps all the way back to the ...429 build for 4.0.3 and they are all broke, I even tried pulling the 4.2.2 gapps from nexus and they don't work either so it's in the cm/aokp builds...

I was afraid of that. I hope they fix it soon cause I'm missing aokp something fierce! My girl has been calling me nonstop since I changed ROMs and went off aokp just to be able to talk to her. Thinking about flashing while she is at work. My luck she'd call me on it on her break LOL

That's weird cause aokp is using cm10 kernel. Not sure what the problem is???

cm10 is a different animal from 10.1 I am pretty sure talk worked fine on the 10 builds of apkp too...
I am almost tempted to flash cm 10.1 and see if talk works on it but I am having such a nice time on EMBRYO with nearly every little aspect of the phone working well that I can't seem to bring myself to do it...

My wife's phone is on 4.1.2 (Slimbean) and hers works, though it's with Hangouts now. I try to chat on my 4.2.2 (Slimbean as well) and there's no audio coming to her. I can hear everyone, but nobody can hear me.
So in my limited test, it does seem to be 4.2.2 at this point.
Having the same issues here. Running Slim 4.2.2. Is there ANYTHING that we can change to fix this on our end.

I've been searching everywhere, and even trying other roms. I think this is a 4.2.2 thing and I can't tell if it's even on the radar as a bug. Has anyone figured anything out?
I got tired of slim issues so I just switch to jedi mind trick jb4 so far easy breezy!!!

i also have that problem. i dont think arco has added a virtual zoom in cm9 maybe with a camera hack it will be possible :good:
Have you tried reducing the image resolution ? In the stock ROM you can't zoom if you set the resolution to 5 mpx

I have a t999 sgs3 and havev tried flashing cm10 nightly and aokp build 5..they both seem to have gps issues..tje gps doesnt want to turn on when I use google navigation or telenav...it works 30% of the time..other wise gps is fine on official firmware and frosty jellybean..I also keep getting bootloops with cm10..and yes I wipe/cash/davik. Can any help ?

You could try and download fast fix from play and change location to china or Asia worked for me on an old phone does it give you any error message

FYI that on any SlimBean ROM the new PMR 3.4 will bork your build.prop and cause random reboots if you try and install the Addons (Bravia, pimp my beats, cloud, etc)

u sure u didn't just have cache issues, or an improper flash? I've flashed those addons in the past without issue...

+1 on this. I can confirm it happened to me on all star sb. Also it caused my dialer app to go super laggy and crazy when getting a call or calling somebody

This happened with the Embryo ROM...I tried to flash the newer Pimp My Beats & my music player kept FC'ing.
Happens to me as well...tried a few times. The old PMR worked, but the new messes w sound. I'm using TWRP and AOKP 4.1.2, KKO12, w/ gnex 4.2 gapps.
