Is anyone else having this problem?

My phone keeps hot rebooting with ics...it takes about 10 hours and freeze then hot reboot and time goes to gmt0...i can't take this any more...could it be an app that's not compatible? And how do i find out i have 150 apps..? This did not happen in gb...us anyone else getting this? Once it hot reboots out will keep doing it until i reboot into recovery and wipe caches...then is fine for another 10 hours...I'm rooted stock tmo le1 with darkside v3#5 kernel and touch cwm 5813 but was happening with stock kernel too...I've wiped data when i upgraded too...should i try a custom rom? I'm afraid if i go through that i will have the same result if it's an app doing it..

There was a similar issue on aokp & cm9 that eugene373 just fixed. It would random reboot into bootloops. I wouldn't think it'd be an app. Try flashing darkside cachewipe, will wipe both caches and fix permissions. If that doesn't fix I'd try a new Rom. And ds superwipe before installation.

I love ds kernel so i think i would use his rom..i just don't want to go through all of that if it's an app i can just delete...is there any app or any way like logcat that would tell me what's causing this hot reboot?
Edit...i have system tuner pro could that find the problem? Because if an app not compatible with ics then any ics rom i will have this problem

Are you overclocking, setting governors and under volting? If so return to stock settings and see if it persist. But I would at least try the darkside cachewipe if you haven't already. Here is a link for getting a logcat of the issue

clean jb rom?

im on att. Im wondering if theres any jb release here without any hacks. No bloatwares. currently on katoonez and task aokp but get random freeze and restarts. Not good for alarms.

I've also noticed that there is no pure aosp ROM right now. I am currently working on it and hopefully I'll have something that works by Monday.

i tried to flash it but it say fail.. can i flash straigh from the aokp jb or do i have to flash with different recovery?

I have tried a few JB roms and they all seem to have an issue with the mic. I use we chat voice function a lot and it doesn't seem to work at all on any flashes ROMs.
If this works in any of the ROMs mentioned would love to take a stab at those.

Gonna try to fix this soon I promise guys. First time doing any of this. This is not a new ROM by no means. This is just a place to get answers to questions. Its basically the q/a thread for unofficial. Any help is welcomed and all opinions are respected. Do remember that this is not my work. I don't have a clue how to even do any coding.
That said, the purpose to make this thread is to lighten the load from official and unofficial slim bean. I will check with android88 and tmo and see if they wanna pull a big think tank and combine all the slim threads into one. "Only for resolution of any issues". That should go bold letters. Also guys remember that not all devices are the same. Same model but if you guys recall when jb first came out everyone was having diff issues.

If coming from another ROM wipe clean. If from an older slim version you can dirty flash but don't post complaints unless you try a clean wipe.

******Grab your root explorer of choice. I like solid explorer myself- this is just to change your lcd density to 182. (Personal preference) once you save it, make sure you clear data and cache on playstore.
Reboot
Wipe cache, dalvik, and fix permissions.

I usually set kernel ( lightning zap- thanks to krazeecrackrer) to max 14xx and min to 192. Governor would be smartassv2 and scheduler is SIO.
All my apps work. No f/c at all. Point blank, couldn't ask for anything else. Have yet to fail me. As new updates come up from chevy or gmillz I will update the op.

For you guys that wanna run clone like I am this is a what I'm using. Its unofficial slim 12/22 but PAC clone hybrid.

You have to adjust it. Use smartassv2 and sio. Drop your clocking to 14xx and let it sit for a few hrs. If your gonna be doing a lot of gaming then raise it up to 18xx but know it will heat up and drain battery. With the kernel suggested I get every bit of 1 1/2 days with 6 hrs screentime

OK bigox, aio is an add on has everything you should need. If I'm not mistaken its gapps and inversion. From what I got understood
@olip if you feel more comfortable with stock kernel your more than welcome to use it. But pls don't bash anyone's work.

No. I'm not mean that. I just wonder if it can help because everyone seem to like it. I'm not so good in english so sorry if i say anything wrong.. And can you help me with call and recieve calls issue. Pick it on and can't hear anything. Call back and still quiet. Reboot and then i can hear them. It's happend some time but very annoying.

I was having the same issue. Reboot into recovery wipe cache, dalvik and fix permisions. That fixed the problem for me.

If I'm not mistaken you can dirty flash over a previous slim bean build. If your coming from a different ROM you need to wipe and all. They said flash this ROM, gapps, led toggle fix, then dirty flash ROM then you can add mods and new kernel as you wish.
I try not to dirty flash I would think eventually it will cause problems. Like going to the Dr getting one pill to fix what another causes I prefer clean Install. As for flashing one on top of a totally different ROM I have no idea what will happen I'm sure not good.

Issues: Gmail FCing, other random apps FCing (xda, tapatalk, etc) as soon as I open play store it closes, no FC message it just will not open.

Do you clear cache n dalvik? You still have to do that also I'm using inverted from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=32177408 w no problems w gmail just display and sound but I know how to fix just not got around to it. I just use gapps tho not aio I have no need for all the rest.
Try recovery, clear cache, dalvik, fix permissions.
Did you flash the ROM properly?

Yup clean flash, a guy like 3 threads below you (go figure) was having an issue after dirty flashing liquidsmooth, read the comment that I posted there too please, it explains some stuff that you would need to know

Just did a full clean install. Still force closes, multiple versions.
Did something in 1/26 break it?
Edit: liquid reverted a few audio drivers that breaks acid audio.
For once an issue after dirty flashing wasn't from dirty flashing xD

Haven't touched CM10.1 nightly ROMs for a while. But the LED Notification stopped working, stayed on an older version of CM10.1 nightly.
Gonna try that when I get home. Also PA made it to this device. Also the Jedi mind trick Roms. So many options. Wow head's spinning.
Leaning towards CM10.1 though.

No signal, can't play video
I was using CM10.0. Updated CM10.1 with corresponding gapp.
-Can't register on cellular network anymore. Can't set AWS frequency in the factory testing mode.
-All of my Video apps start legging, play videos for a little while and quit after about a minute, say video format not supported. Even though the video is mp4 format and it was playing it before quitting.
How should fix it? Flash kernel? Which kernel should I use?

Had some problem with radio but I just had to update to the latest version and everything else looks fine

I tried to resist flashing this ROM but had to give in to temptation. Said to myself no more flashing when I got into boot issues with JMTJB6. Odin flashed stock and left it unrooted! Was happy...but then temptation. Happy I did it, rock solid, butter smooth, doesn't seem to have any lag.

Thanks that did the trick. I was going mad at why the LED notifications stopped working.
Also still on the non-touch recovery, 5.0.26 the one that needs the Darkmod scripts to wipe cache and do full installs.
Also had to turn sensor on/off before it actually worked. Read that from another post from someone that helped me.

I just had two random reboots, it might be related to bluetooth.
Scenario 1: Answered a phone call via steering wheel controls in the car. Phone reboots
Scenario 2: While connected left the car car. Phone reboots.

Flash video was not smooth for me. Even with latest Adobe update. But no MHL to TV support was the deal killer. Other than that it was fine.

Is this a known problem? Would a custom kernel like uber kernel be more stable? I really like this ROM so far as is.
