I'm on 61008 the latest prl and ff18 modem and get good speeds. Just keep trying them out until you get the one you like. I tried a lot of different PRLs until I noticed it speeds didn't change a lot.

Isnt it SAD and Absurd that we need to resort to custom prl numbers and settngs ( anycut ) to get decent reception? what is sprint using for its network- a bunch of diodes and transistors in a can?

So for some reason im experiencing slow data speeds. Slow as in the page just wont load. And when it does its because it sat there for a like 45 seconds to 1 min. Is anyone else experiencing this? Does anyone have any ideas or anything I can try to make sure it aint my phone and it's actually a network issue. TIA.

Careful with that PRL. I'm sure if you're using it, you know the risk of being kicked off sprint if abusing it? You should have about twice as much regular data as you do roaming, because that prl is ALL roaming.

Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda premium
Im running LIG here in RockyMount NC works well for me so far..
1)What modem/baseband/radio are you currently using?
2)What rom are you currently using?
3)How are your data speeds while on mobile data with said modem/baseband/radio?
4)Have you flashed any scripts/tweaks or use any apps to assist with your mobile data speeds?

After using the LJ7 Modem for the last couple days I've noticed slower speeds and I do not get signal at work.
I had none of these issues when using the LJ1 modem.
Flashed it back and right away better signal at work. I'm in downtown Columbia
I'm also using PRL 24006 and am running LJ7

Hi guys. I'm in Winston Salem and have a Galaxy Note 2. Friend of mine has the GalaxyS3. I was wandering has Sprint sent you guys the ota yet? He keeps checking but it says no update available. Let me know when you LTE down there. I'll drive down to check it out one week end.
I have a epic 4g flashed to boost mobile
I have recently found out that they have 4g service now
Does anyone know how to activate it on my phone if its even possible
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda app-developers app
Not possible. You could just buy a boost et4g and get 4g.
I like to break stuff!
I know of a way but it's probably not XDA approved. I'll just say you need a friend that also has the E4GT on Boost or Sprint and you need to do some editing in the ##DATA# menu.
That's all I will say about that.

It is possible and can be done, just follow and you will be piggybacking on sprint 4g wimax while on boost I did during my boost ET4 days.

An associate of mine said that the voltage of older android antennas (radios) could be increased for better reception. Is there any truth to this? If so, does the technology exist for the epic 4g touch? Is there a zip or tar file I can flash? Anyone care to weigh in on this subject?

Ok so Im having problems with sprint at fhe moment. Im always roaming where I live now. I used to get great 4G but now im roaming. Sprint has no answer other than they are looking into it. Going on 3 weeks now. So my question is I'm trying to use a verizon prl but nothing seems to improve my signal for voice. How do I know the prl I'm using sticks and which one seems to be working best for you?

Hello do you read other threads that relate to PRL. Dont mean to be a **** bur there are pages and pages based upon this. It is 2000 PRL that causes this situation.
You can try to manually change it however it will auto override back to 2000.

I have read all the pages on it and I know how to change the prl. Im not having any luck with any prl I use. Im either barely getting a signal on roaming or no signal at all on either a Verizon prl or sprint. Thanks for your input though. Not very informative. I guess ill keep trying till I get one that works.

A few things you can try.
1. If you are on a touchwiz rom try doing a hands free activation. Bring up the dialer and type ##scrtn#. Let it do it's thing and see if your signal is better.
2. Try the 56015 prl. It's the one for me. Google "sprint prl xda" and you should find a thread by digiblur. It will have many prls.
3. Take it into a Sprint store and see if they can service it.
4. Keep complaining to Sprint, at some point you should get some credit back.
If Sprint decide to boot a line that is using too much roaming data what do they do with your phone? Do you either keep or do you have to turn it in to them? And do you have to pay the etf if they boot you because you roamed too much?

Being as your account is being terminated due to violating TOS... I'd presume that they'd brick your ESN. And as your contract is being terminated early, it isn't a stretch to presume you'd be charged etf as well.
