I'm having some major connectivity issues after flashing to Jelly Bean (the one posted by bigxie).
Google Talk doesn't work. The app opens but I (and all my contacts) stay offline even after it says "signing in".
Google Now doesn't work at all by swiping up from home button (I don't see any cards), but I can do searches by pressing mic button in search bar.
Sync isn't working unless I go into my gmail app and press refresh manually.
Can't download apps from Play I get message: Error processing purchase. [DF-BPA-09]
I think it has to do with my wifi and signal bars are grey instead of blue (not connected to google server). I'm not sure what else I can do to get the connection. I can still use internet browsing (on both wifi and HSPA+) and send SMS messages
I was thinking of giving one of the other posted ROMs a try. I just want stock Jelly Bean to work
Currently: "Jellybean 4.1 JRN84D Stock, Rooted, Busybox, Deodexed + New Radio!" from bigxie
Baseband: i9250UGLC1 (I also tried XXLF1)
Bootloader: JRN84D
Kernel: 3.0.31-ge8de0e2
What else can I try or do to get connectivity working?
Did you do a wipe after installing? I haven't had even a remote sign of a problem on my GNEX since flashing Jelly Bean.

Hmm I did my wipe before installing the ROM. I suppose that makes the difference then eh (sorry only 3rd ROM I've ever flashed)?
If I just go into recovery now and do a factory reset I would keep my JB install right (along with radio/root fix)? Then I would just have to reinstall all my apps via titanium backup/restore?
I'll differ answering to someone with more knowledge/experience than myself. But once on any version doing a factory wipe/reset will just erase your data. You'll just get a clean version of Jelly Bean.
Did you flash this one?
Had the same thing. Flashed the JB-radio again, wiped cache and dalvik, reboot and had my blue bars back.

I flashed AOKP Toro Build 29 and gApps and everything was working smoothly until after I restored my apps and data and all that good stuff. I noticed that some of my google apps were missing. The icons were showing up, but when I clicked on the icons the phone said they weren't installed. I went to the market and started downloading the apps again, but after a few apps my signal cut out. The signal indicator still showed full bars and 4G, but they turned gray instead of the normal blue. Since the signal bars turned gray, I can't download anything from the market. Yet, I can browse the web, use twitter, send and receive text and picture messages etc. I've rebooted and rebooted, but I can't get the signal bars to turn blue again.
Has anyone else experienced something like this, or is this a bug of build 29? Is there something else I need to download?

What ROM did you come from? Build 28? Build 29 is 4.0.4., 28 is 4.0.3. Did you reflash Google aps? See link for Google apps at the bottom of the page where you downloaded build 29 (on Rootzwiki I believe) and flash that if you didn;t.
I flashed my GSM on B29 this morning. It messed up my phone carrier and lost internet on my phone. I flashed Google apps and they showed up normally except for Google maps and Google Music.
I could not download Google Music anymore because Play Store was detecting my phone as Rogers phone and denying it. I could not figure out how to get it back. I will appreciate any advice on Google music. I use Google Music (Play Music) all the time.

Or use market enabler that can be found here somewhere on XDA.

I came from Gummynex 0.9.0 (or whichever the latest build is). Before flashing, I wiped Dalvik cache and factory reset then flashed the ROM and Google apps. When I first rebooted and started restoring my apps and data, my signal bars were blue, then they turned gray suddenly.

The grey bars are a sign that you aren't connected to the Google servers. Try re downloading the Gapps that are linked to with your AOKP build and reflash them. Also: restoring data is sometimes causing trouble. I had it once restoring data from the people app causing my phone in a bootloop. If reflashing Gapps doesn't work: try reflashing the ROM and reflashing Gapps without restoring data.

I just loaded aokp 29 and did not have any issues.
Hello!
I just jumped into the big boy pool and rooted my Galaxy Nexus so that I could put Jelly Bean on it.
That went fine and Jelly Bean is working perfectly on it. However, on my GSM phone, the only options I have for the mobile networks are LTE and CDMA. I've flashed 3 different GSM radio files to my phone and none of them give me GSM options.
At the moment, I have an AndroidPod touch. Obviously I've done something wrong..... what?

Well either you're flashing the wrong rom (which I don't think it'll let you do since you are on maguro and there is a check in place) or the wrong radios... you're getting your radios from here? and your roms from this forum?
I'm seeing something similar after flashing to Jelly Bean from bigxie. I can't use Google Talk, Google Now, can't download apps from Play, and my wifi and signal bars are grey instead of blue (not connected to google server).
I was thinking of giving this one a try.
Currently: "Jellybean 4.1 JRN84D Stock, Rooted, Busybox, Deodexed + New Radio!" from bigxie

Bootloader: JRN84D

I was having same issue, and I've been able to solve it by following the "6. The Ultimate Framework Wipe" in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1377514 by Miasmic
"This is gonna be a bit longer, read and follow carefully.
1) Go to the application management screen of "Google Play Store".
2) Clear cache of "Google Play Store".
3) Force stop "Google Play Store".
DO NOT CLEAR DATA OF "Google Play Store".
4) Go to the application management screen of "Google Services Framework".
5) Clear data of "Google Services Framework".
6) Confirm it.
7) LONG PRESS POWER MENU AND REBOOT RIGHT NOW. ON THIS SCREEN.
8) Open Google Play Store, open "My Apps" list and check whether all your apps are there."
It worked fine for me. Hope it helps.
I need some help from more experienced Android users. About a month ago I rooted my Kindle Fire and installed 4.1 Jelly Bean as my new OS. Over the past week my keyboard has been constantly crashing and I have no idea why. Whenever I type in a word box the keyboard will randomly disappear and I will have to select the box multiple times for my keyboard to return. I installed Go Keyboard and it didn't help. Do any of you have an idea of what it might be?
Full wipe minus your external storage/sdcard and reflash Rom.

I figured that would be the solution. I cleared my cashes and installed the newest update. Everything seems to be working a lot better now.
Today I was downloading some file in Chrome, however it was stuck at downloading so I closed Chrome, after that I couldn't open Play Store (after 1 sec it just closed(without FC) to homescreen). After restart process com.google.gaaps (or something like this) FCed. I tried deleting Play Store cache, chrome cache, media cache... it didn't help. I am not rooted, just have opened bootloader and sideloaded Android 4.2.2 (because I had Samsung version of firmwave which is stuck at android 4.1)
How did you update a yakjuXX variant to Google's 4.2.2 ota? you must have already converted to takju or yakju 4.2.1 before sideloading 4.2.2.
Anyways... Factory image is available for 4.2.2, don't bother troubleshooting this. No logs, vague description, just start fresh, all your issues will be solved. If running any mods..don't, or make sure they work with 4.2.2. Could just be a Chrome issue.
Sent from my Nexus
Yes I have yakju 4.2.2.
Thank you for answering, now I will just root and backup and factory reset
I began having problems when I flashed a cm ROM august 14, don't remember what it was. My phone shuts down gmail after a few seconds. I get "no connection" when i try the play store. My keyboard doesn't do the swipe thing. My main concern is that I can't get into Google play. When I boot anything cm 10.2 and up I lose several apps and I can't figure what's wrong. I appreciate the help.
First of all, tell us how you installed 4.3, which gapps you used, etc. We cant help without details
