[Q] problems jelly bean 4.3 NOT WIFI - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

I began having problems when I flashed a cm ROM august 14, don't remember what it was. My phone shuts down gmail after a few seconds. I get "no connection" when i try the play store. My keyboard doesn't do the swipe thing. My main concern is that I can't get into Google play. When I boot anything cm 10.2 and up I lose several apps and I can't figure what's wrong. I appreciate the help.

First of all, tell us how you installed 4.3, which gapps you used, etc. We cant help without details

Google earth not working since flashing..
Hi, I first flashed about a month ago now, starting with Vicious and since then I can't get past the startup for GE. I did a few other roms, and now I'm using CM 10 but still no luck. With Vicious I was able to get it to work by doing the uninstall updates option because it was 'baked in', but that meant I couldn't use the latest version. With all the other roms you have to download it from Play, and all GE does is crash at the activity circle.
I'm still getting the hang of things, I tried the fix permissions in rom manager, and tried clearing the caches in the app. Google search hasn't shown this to be a reported problem and I don't see any thing here about it. Google earth isn't critical but i enjoy passing the time with it and would like to get it working again, so any Idea on a fix?

[Q] Need help installing Cyanogenmod 10.2 from scratch and from stock ROM

Okay, so I've had the Galaxy S3 for a while now. It was rooted and was running the original rom. I rooted it to be able to use wifi tether and other applications that weren't available from a non-rooted stock rom. All that said, I have been having issues recently and when I try to load and install the OTA upgrade, it fails to install correctly.
All of this said, I am looking to install the new stable Cyanogenmod 10.2.2 but after several hours, it isn't working.
I've attempted using Odin to root the phone, downloaded, copied and pasted the .zip into the phone along with the latest GAPPS, but the only one that installs is GAPPS, which doesn't really matter because my play store still doesn't work. I do get the "PASS" for the rooting, but without being able to use the play store, I'm pretty much stuck with a smart phone that can make phone calls and nothing else.
I originally attempted to use GOO Manager, but it kept failing and now my backup is no longer available.
Additionally, I have been getting the error "Unfortunately, Remote Control has stopped working" when I try to use the Google Pay Store.
I am looking for the "Root & Install Cyanogenmod 10.2.2 for Dummies" assistance here, as I'm not the biggest techie. I've rooted my phone in the past and had no issues, but this time, I'm at my whit's end and am on the verge of saying @#^% it and just getting the new S4 at a cost of about $200 that I wasn't and am hoping not to HAVE to do.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

google play service don't work after update CM 12.1

Hello everyone,
I'm either new in this forum and noob with android.
Yesterday i made the terrible choice to tap on the cyanogenmod update (i had the 27/11/14 release of cmn 12 i think).
After the installation was done i had the device in rebooting loop so i entered the recovery mode and after some random wipe and restore i finally had the phone working with the 12.1 release, but without any data.
i tried to restore with a backup i had from a week ago but after that the phone went again in the rebooting issue.
i've installed again the new version of cyanogenmod hoping to backup data from google, but the fact is that i cannot because the google play services crashes continuosly so i can't use the play store neither (i've installed it manually, but it doesn't allow me to install anything cause it recognize me as users with the app already installed, although it isn't true).
i don't know how to deal with softwares and such so i thought to try with a new google users, install google again and then restore my original user, but the crashing of the google services let me think it could be another bad choice.
so, there is anyone who knows how to fix that problem or where do i have to look to find crucial informations about it and describe it better?
thanks in advance to everyone, have a nice one

Help please

Hey guys, Hoping I can get some direction here. I have the galaxy tab pro 10.1 wifi model (sm-t520). I have been running cyanogenmod 12 for a long time without issue, but decided yesterday to install cm13 on it and have had nothing but issues since. It installed and runs fine, but there seems to be a problem with gapps i'm assuming. Google play services aren't working at all. I get a repetitious error stating that google play services has stopped. I basically cannot do anything. No updates, no downloads, I can't even get twrp recovery running. Just a vicious cycle of google play services has stopped. Like, every 3 seconds. Any help on how to correct this issue would be appreciated greatly! Thanks in advance!

Trebuche launcher keeps closing itself after phone launches

Hey so I dug up my old Galaxy Nexus and wanted to get it ready for my dad to use. However after booting up when ever I try to do anything (press on an app or the menu) a notification pops up saying " Trebuche launcher has crashed". Rendering me unable to do anything as I can't get into the menu or settings either. I am not sure what to do. I think the phone has some version of Jelly bean on it from Cyenogen mod. It is a while back since I did anything with it.
So before I mess up and brick it I wanted to ask if anyone knows how to go forward with it.
In a crazy coincidence this is exactly the problem I ran into yesterday. I factory reset it in TWRP several times and it always eventually happened again. It may not be related, but it first happened immediately after updating the play store/services and agreeing to the play protect.
This last time I removed the SIM, reset, and reboot it. I immediately opened the play store (without opening the app drawer or trying to click on settings), turned off auto updating, and downloaded Nova Launcher. When you click home it asks which you'd prefer. I was then able to go to settings without any problems.
So far it's been about 45 minutes without crashing and restarting.
LineageOS (the successor of CyanogenMod) has an official build for toro that is currently maintained so after a complete backup I intend to flash it.
Hope this helped
