Yes... I am on sero and have a galaxy nexus. You can't do it in store and you can't do a normal activation online. You have to call employee services much like you did to upgrade to sero premium.

Soi imagine a majority of us are on Verizon so anyone now if we buy a phone on our own can we keep unlimited data even if we go to 4g?

Goon is right, you will have to pay full retail for the phone if you don't want to renew your contract. Contract renewal = limited data.

Also if you have another account with an upgrade you could use that and switch phones. Or acquire the phone via 3rd party and activate it.

Yes, you can but only if you buy a phone off contract. Meaning you cant buy a new phone from Verizon for $200 and stay on unlimited data. You would either have to buy a new phone retail ($700) or buy a used LTE phone.

Can get cheaper on Craigslist and eBay !

They are for $49.99 in Best Buy now plus around $20 for unlock. I say $100 will be good price on Black Friday..

I will look around on ebay and see what prices are there. If you want to quick sell just lower price $50 or so and you get your fare price.

Tmobile prepaid

Im thinking about selling my s3 from sprint. I was looking to get a s3 from Tmobile from Craigslist. If i active it will it with a sim card i get from walmart will it work if the previous owner has a previous balance? Because I won't know until I get the phone then get the card because people lie on the Internet sometimes to get stuff sold.

Best advice I've heard is to go to the T-Mobile store with the person and have the rep there confirm the details (such as if they owe money). And have them add the phone to your account and/or make a note about it.
