[Q] Chainfire3d...just wondering

Can anyone confirm this works on our phone and post which games work? Thank you.

Confirmed working for me. I'm on Eagleblood 1.1 and worked also for stock rooted rom.
I come from a G2X so i loved the graphics on the Tegra games.
Here are the games confirmed working:
Backbreaker THD
Sprinkle
Fruit Ninja THD
Riptide GP THD
Galaxy on Fire 2 THD
You'd need CF3D and the Nvidia plugin.

Are you listing the games that worked on your LGx2, because you can't download THD games unless you have a Tegra processor. Or am I missing something.

You're definitely missing somwthing. Those are the games i play on my sgs2. To play these games yu need CF3D and the Nvidia plugin.

Chainfire3d is an app in the market that let's you play Tegra (and two other types.forgot which) it also fixes the market so you can download Tegra games from the market. You can search there is a thread on it. I used it on my vibrant and it's great.

Oh I got ya! I have had the ChainFire3D on here for a bit and always had on my vibrant, but didin't know about the market fix that would show THD games. Thanks for the info!!

What Verision of Asphalt 6 Adrenaline might be installed on our a80 g9?
Have some versions from 09/11 for sgt, lg, etc ... and am confused because of addtitional downloads and nettraffic.

I used GTA III 1.1, this is working right.

GTA 3 v1.2 is working for me.

No cracked games on the forums, sorry. Just use Google to find ones with data for PowerVR

you have to root to install chainfire and as z4root doesnt work this would void out warranty and any chance at taking this piece of crap back right, ive had mine for a week and the only think about it that is good is the media player the rest of it sucks,

Cyanogenmod 7.2.
CM9 is good for games too but no all games are ics compatible (nova, gta3).

ICS is not as good for games as CM7.2 is. Not yet. So, yep, CM7.2 with overclocked processor is the best way

Cm9 and stock touchwiz use more RAM, so cm7 is cleaner android, and uses less RAM and gives more performance.
However my new ipad is still better to game on

although this game is smooth and great graphics, there is no point playing it as only the 1st level works, then its stuck on loading screen forever , so theres no point playing it :/
if you like shooters i recommend deadspace nova (like halo) and modern combat sandstorm (like cod)
to find them google samsung galaxy gio latvian forum games (yes i know latvian) but dont worry its all english site)
and mod, its not warez as they are modified to work on gio as normally they dont

I already played nova, deadspace,and modern combat sandstorm and finished them all.

try looking for scaresoul its a full 3d game like DMC and it runs well on gio (slight lag)
