[Q] Bricked Phone Cyanogenmod Alpha 5

I tried to update to alpha 5 from 4 and got this error:

Can someone help me fix this???

You are not supposed to flash using that recovery. I believe you need to Odin back to EL26 and install CWM Recovery (NOT ROGUE) and flash it from there. There might be a quicker way, but what I just described is the safest way.
Btw your phone is not bricked until you can't get into Download mode.

Freezing on the boot, ANDROID word

Hi, i've been trying to install a new ROM on my Gio, already tried DroidGio and Democracy and at both happens the same: when i reboot the phone after installing it, it stucks on "Android"

Try to install some custom rom through odin.

Do a factory reset after flashing

I only have .zip files of custom roms, to flash it doesn't it have to be a .tar file?

I'm a noob at flashing, the only "type" of flashing i know is to load GIO_v1.0 at OPS and loading the .tar file (related to stock vodafone rom) at the One Package Option. If I do that it stucks to stock rom only as you know.

Sometimes after wipe phone stops on android logo i dont no why, other idea is you didnt format system to ext4 before flashing.

try to reinstall and don't forget to wipe data/chace

did you get the newest version of supersu? my bet is no.
if you had searched, you wouldve known this.

I solved it.
Before restarting a question is asked: if flashing the recovery. You have to answer NO and I solved.

[Q] Help, TWRP and CWM somehow installed at the same time. can't boot into phone OS

So, I attempted to install Cyanogenmod via the installer, it didn't work. So manually, I went and looked up a tutorial and it said to install TWRP because cyanogen wasn't working for me. I installed that and I booted into recovery. It opened CWM, weird. So I try to start the phone, it boots into TWRP. eventually I attempt to install Cyanogen to see where it gets me, I install it and when I boot it does nothing. you see samsung logo then blackness. I am assuming because TWRP didn't get removed from it. I can still access recovery and download mode. What to do next Also flashing with odin did not fix it.

Flash a different ROM in recovery or the stock tar with Odin. Those are your only options. I also highly recommend Philz Recovery.

try flashing a different recovery
use one of these:

get the version for your device(zooa or zoo8)

first boot into bootloader
then open up fastboot on your PC and type:
fastboot flash recovery (name of the recovery file).img
if you dont know how to do that you need to do some more research before you go flashing roms.

You REALLY need to read...
If you did the above procedure you no longer HAVE original TWRP on your phone...
You replaced it with a new recovery that should flash the OTA...
Personally I use the stock recovery as that generally works as long as the system partition hasn't been altered with busybox/root/xposed framework...
